The tiniest glint came upon her eyes when the man offered Max a new perspective. That distant smile became a little bit warmer and wider, and her rather hollow eyes seemed to liven up. With measured steps she left the wall and went back to the large man, her elegant motions now tinged with a hint of excitement and intrigue.

Both hands she placed on his shoulders, pulling herself up to be as close to his face as she could, noting the minor redness. When her voice left her lips inches away from him, it was with a mild nigh-manic glee. "How? Tell me. And if you can do it, show me. Show me the world as you see it. Show me myself as how you see me.|

The enthusiasm and closeness was messing Ko's sight up. He felt way to nervous to think right, and stood frozen with her on his shoulders.

"W-well umm. I-i'd have t-to hol-d your h-hand a-a-and and w-well."
Ko took another breath and tried to collect his thoughts and stop rambling. He tried to to start again but stopped, and decided to just show her.

Korite suddenly took her hands off his shoulders and held them out, holding them lightly. He never actually held someone else's hands like this before, and was distracted for a moment thinking about how new this is.

"O-ok, I need y-you to trust me and stay still. If things start to hurt, pull your hands away."

Ko looked at her and tries to suggest the image he sees to her. He focused on all the qualities a normal person couldn't see, like the shapes and colors in the air that are from senses like sounds and noises.

"How fascinating..." Max said, voice trailing off. It was beyond anything she'd imagined before - a world not subject to any of the same rules as she'd grown accustomed to. With her vision, things were still seen, and things were still heard and felt, but this... this was all of that at once.

It was confusing, but exhilarating. Her hands gripped his tighter as she tried to focus on the overwhelming sensations. It wasn't until an idea popped into her hand that she let go, extricating her fingers from his gently.

Her smile widened and her words were now evidently gleeful as she twirled and walked back to the piano, sitting down. She started playing, fingers deftly dancing across the keys and launching into joyous song. "Do it again. I've always wanted to see my music."

One hand lifted off the piano for a brief moment, beckoning to the man and then resuming their melodious work. "I like you. You're nice and interesting."

Ko felt slightly more at ease. He smiled faintly when she tightened her grip. He could feel the happiness emanating from her.
"I don't always see like this, which is a gift and curse."

When she pulled away, the connection had a very sudden drop that gave Korite a small headache. He still followed her to the piano and sat beside her. Her playing was amazing.

"Alright, here we go. I'm going to show you your music now, ready?"
Korite hesitantly placed his hand on her arm. the shirtsleeve was somewhat in the way making suggestion harder, but he got most of the image. The music had various waves of colors floating and dancing in the air.

Here it was again, this overwhelming sense of fantasy. Coupled with her normal trance-like state whenever she played, the sensory overload proved to be so much more than she could have imagined.

The happy music fed back into her thoughts, coloring in the background with vivid life. A festival full of people making merry and dancing frenetically filled her mind, each face more clear than the last. There were drinks all around, and imaginary singing, and all the rabble of cheery people.

And there she was, in the middle, invisible.

Her melody abruptly shifted to something dark and brooding, as if hit by the sinking realization of her own standing in the world. Invisible. Unnoticeable. The colors darkened and the scene faded, as did the volume of her music. Her mood had shifted, and though observers from outside could probably never tell, here her emotions were on display. Something she'd never been able to do properly.

It was uncomfortable territory.

Not wanting to suddenly let the music end abruptly, she made it go into a more cheerful direction with a bit more joie de vivre before cutting it off. A more cryptic smile was on her face now, as she tenuously removed the man's grip from her. "That was a very interesting world. So many things that I can't see, so many things I can't show."

Ko was happy he was being of use. He smiled as she moved his hand away.

"How do you mean, things you can't show? "

Korite was intrigued, he wanted to know what she saw. She hinted at things about her sight. If she saw differently Ko wanted to see it as well. The idea of looking in to her mind popped into his head. Normally he would consider, but this time he shot the idea down quickly. Privacy felt important currently.

It was an innocuous question, to be sure, but it cut deep. Max had always been at a loss when it came to showing things and sharing what she saw differently. Even now, when all she wanted to say was how she felt, or let her mild discomfort show, her mind would not form the words, nor would her lips let them out or her face show them.

Instead, she turned around and gestured to her face, asking, "What do you see?"

As she always did. Currently, she wished that this stranger could peer in and see through her eyes. As she looked down at her hands with her emotional vision, all she could see was a muddle of dull, muted colors in stark contrast to her companions lively tone. Slowly, as though hesitant, she shook her head and closed her eyes, reverting her vision,

What does he see. He could of said several things, most of which would ruin the conversation such as; 'Beautiful blue eyes' or something of the like. Instead he went with straight honesty.

"I see a slight blue-green glow, and a very airy consistency of it. And..." Korite stopped himself, then suddenly blurted out "a beautiful face."

Ko went red and stood up, about to leave.

"I-I-I Should go. Thank you for the music, I-I'm sorry to have bothered you."

Max, as invisibly flattered as she was, still couldn't quite get over her mild disappointment over his non-mention of any trace of emotion on her features. The answer she sought was one she could tell herself, but it wouldn't quite mean a thing. But, as she supposed, it was close enough. "Thank you," she said, not a hint of any sort of inclination present in her voice. She only wished she could voice her earnest gratitude or her mild disappointment as she said, "A lot of people disagree with you. I've heard people say that I look creepy because I can't show what I feel as well as everyone else. Like a doll to be played with."

She felt a little envy, in all honesty, seeing his face light up in a good shade of red. Maybe someday she could blush so when someone would say her face was beautiful.

"Why are you sorry?" she then asked, wondering with her head tilted to the side, eyes still fixed on his abashed face. "Do you have somewhere to go?"

Ko could somewhat see what she meant. Although her face showed no emotion, Ko could see it in the colors around her. It was only really his odd sight.

"N-No, I have no classes today. I j-just thought that this was an unpleasant interruption for you."

Korite stood by the door, waiting to see if he could be convinced to stay. He thought of the past few days, and realized he was a lot different.

'This island is changing me, I'm going from underground fighter to blushing school boy.'
