"Nuh-uh!" she reeled back until she was awkwardly laying on the booth. "Your rejection hurt my delicate heart. I don't think I'll ever manage to repair from the pain."

Melodramatically, Eli laid a hand on her forehead. She peeked at him, grinning foxily.

"Fine, I'll tell you."

She took a deep breath. Now she'd tell this one in detail to poke fun at him. As she recanted the events, she watched his face. Jealousy and anger may have been a turn on to Eliana, and she didn't mind hurting people's feelings to get her kicks, she didn't want Mal to be hurt.

"It was night time, and I was clubbing with a few people as I do most nights. One of the guys, Alec, was not only a hottie but a smoker. So, I go with him outside of the club, 'cause it was one of those where you can't smoke inside.

"As he's lighting up, I ask him for a smoke. We talk casually, and I mention how hot I think fuckin' people in alleys is.

"Naturally, things got hot and heavy when we both started making out. One thing led to another and soon I had my skirt hiked over my hips, my panties torn, and my back against the wall.

"That fond look," Eli said. Then she realized he must not have been teasing her as she had been teasing him.
