Deith was there when it happened.
He had been alone when he decided to thrash Diane's bar, and maybe that was why he wasn't successful. The place had a mind of its own and it wouldn't find it difficult to work against one person. But if it was a group, then destroying the bar was easy. And that's what happened. There had been a fight and the gang's side was able to win somehow, but nonetheless the bar was wrecked because of it. There were holes in the walls, the shelves of bottles have been annihilated, the bar counter turned into nothing but splinters, and most of all, the gang suffered casualties.
Deith hadn't been around long enough to feel any sort of camaraderie or any kind of feelings towards them-- he's only been there for one night, after all-- but he at least felt obligated to feel some kind of sympathy, especially after what Diane did for him, and he somewhat committed to being part of the gang along the way-- although he was at the same time pissed to know that someone's done a really good job at what he failed at.
Despite still being injured and hurting, Deith made his way to the bar, slowly but surely. The bar was already fixing itself, so that wasn't much of a worry in his opinion, but the repairs didn't include lives lost, as far as he knew. He knew Diane was devastated. Seeing her there by the counter, he decided to quietly join her.
