Deith was there when it happened.

He had been alone when he decided to thrash Diane's bar, and maybe that was why he wasn't successful. The place had a mind of its own and it wouldn't find it difficult to work against one person. But if it was a group, then destroying the bar was easy. And that's what happened. There had been a fight and the gang's side was able to win somehow, but nonetheless the bar was wrecked because of it. There were holes in the walls, the shelves of bottles have been annihilated, the bar counter turned into nothing but splinters, and most of all, the gang suffered casualties.

Deith hadn't been around long enough to feel any sort of camaraderie or any kind of feelings towards them-- he's only been there for one night, after all-- but he at least felt obligated to feel some kind of sympathy, especially after what Diane did for him, and he somewhat committed to being part of the gang along the way-- although he was at the same time pissed to know that someone's done a really good job at what he failed at.

Despite still being injured and hurting, Deith made his way to the bar, slowly but surely. The bar was already fixing itself, so that wasn't much of a worry in his opinion, but the repairs didn't include lives lost, as far as he knew. He knew Diane was devastated. Seeing her there by the counter, he decided to quietly join her.

Diane was sitting down at one of the tables, the alcohol was creating a flood down the small step to the area she was sitting at, she had a smashed bottle of scotch that had a good amount of alcohol left in it, with another glass she had been able to find that wasn't broken.

She poured the alcohol into the glass before she sculled it. On the surface, she was calm and collected, but underneath she was about ready to destroy the entire red light district to find this prick and hang him by his neck.

Obviously she couldn't show this, otherwise it'd get passed around that the guy did his job. But most of all, she was saddened by this, the fact the entire bar was trying to repair itself and needs help from people, "Fucking bastard..." She said lowly as the puddle evaporated into thin air and appeared back inside the bottles which were also repaired. She stood and put the glass down before she moved to the bar which was already fixed, some glass shards and holes needed human interaction to be fixed since she was pretty sure all the bars mana reserves had dried up in one night.

Sitting down on one of the stools a glass filled with scotch appeared, "Your too kind," She said raising it before she looked around to see Deith coming down the stairs, a light touch of pink appeared on her blank expressionless face, an odd look as it would seem, "You done... resting?" She said in a shy tone before her voice broke, "Prick..." She said lowly to herself before she sculled the drink.

"I couldn't exactly rest while this... trouble was happening," Deith replied to Diane's question, a faint smile on his face, supposedly as an attempt to keep the air light and to keep her from feeling worse about all this. Hopefully, she wasn't planning to get drunk, or couldn't at the very least. Alcohol tended to make people act weird, if it didn't make them fall asleep right away. In any case, she didn't seem to be the type to be knocked out by alcohol that easily.

"I don't think my contact would've ordered this attack. I'm sure I was mistaken and your club wasn't their target. It's probably someone else."

Deith looked around once more. The fact that this place had a mind of its own truly spooked him, which added further to the confusing feelings and thoughts he had at the moment. Spooked, pissed, sympathetic, indifferent-- confused. He wasn't sure which one was real.

He began to tap listlessly on the bar top. "What now?"

Diane sighed lightly before her glass filled to the brim before she sculled it all in one gulp as the glass refilled again swallowing it whole before she gave some drunk giggles before it faded and her face became full of rage all of a sudden.

She held the glass in her left hand as a motor was heard whirring before the glass became a hot red puddle on the table, a bright red flame erupted from her palm as she lowered her head the flame leaving as her arm shone a bright orange, "I've been attacked... My bar has been destroyed... And people got hurt.... I shouldn't be surprised I got involved in this just for the satisfaction of murder and scaring people," She said as her arm cooled down instantly, "People you love get hurt, things you love get hurt," She said before she moved of the chair, a glass appearing on a table as the piano came onto the stage beginning to play.

Diane simply sighed before she grabbed the glass and moved to stand next to Deith, a light blush coming over her cheeks from the proximity of being next to him, "Were going to do nothing, nothing at all until I find the bastard and shove a grenade down his throat," She said with all seriousness, "But... The thing is... What if you start loving... What happens then..." She said before she gave a light chuckle, the glass filling with liquid as she pushed it over to Deith, "Have a drink, I'll be in the office," She said as she smiled at him before she moved to the stairs.

((Long read, hope this makes up for the long wait :P))
