Hm... of all the rather different people here, but one point of silence, and that one didn't count; not while he was eating. No, rather it was the lone female of the bunch, the goblin girl, merely looking around, perhaps weighing her to-be co-workers in her mind.

Given the present crowd, he could hardly blame her, especially as it concerned himself and the shark man.

But the dragon wasn't to keep his attention lingering on the girl — Dorito, was it? Or was it Cheeto? Bah, he couldn't quite remember between the two at the moment — for long; there was a presentation starting, after all. So Valreth turned his golden eyes to the screen, watching in at least mild interest. This was, basically, what he and the rest were here for, after all.

'Computer-generated', the boy Donnel soon enough said; that would take care of that, the dragon supposed. Rather to claim that from the outset than risk the videos getting out and people getting suspicious at the distinct non-humans, like himself, in some of them. It seemed he knew well enough what he was doing, at any rate, though there was... one little point of curiosity.

"One small question, perhaps. I'm a few hundred years old; I don't think there's any accurate documentation for my age. And yes, yes, feel free to bring on the 'old man can't get it up' jokes, the lot of you, but I assure you that I can. And can prove it if I must," the dragon spoke up, with a fairly wide, teasing smirk upon his features.

Let them think what they wanted of his age, after all; he was a dragon. Surely everyone knew they lived to be quite old, and no less healthy for it. And if they indeed wanted to test him, well... so be it.

Anyone with even a passing knowledge of sharks would have an idea of how Lelei's skin felt. It was an interesting mix of soft and rough, like a very very fine sandpaper. It was not harsh enough to warrant concern for prolonged... contact, but the texture could be an intriguing preposition for a curious partner. Under the right circumstances, his skin could create a pleasant tingling sensation. Of course, that was just his skin. Lelei was not rough ALL over.

Lelei did indeed show some mutual interest for the young man. He gave a momentary flex of his muscles for Eznier to feel and shot him a little smile when he felt the feline tail on his leg. Most noticeably, the very tip of Lelei's head fin turned a shade of pink.

"I hope we all get a chance at getting hired. But I'll be hoping for you the most as well."

His attempt at flirting suffered somewhat by his insistence to root for everyone else, but the point was made. The paint was made even more apparent when, while he looked up at the presentation, Lelei moved his hand onto Eznier's thigh, nearly gripping the whole thing in his large hand.

Donnel's presentation was something that Lelei could appreciate in the face of what the whole operation was. It was professional and simple, demonstrating that Donnel was not a mere smut peddler or pimp, one not to be lumped-in with the predators that Lelei and the police hunted. There was some awkwardness to the whole thing when the scene played on the screen for the first time, but that was to be expected. Even Lelei could feel a twinge of embarrassment knowing that he was watching that alongside a bunch of strangers.

Something did concern Lelei, however. Donnel's requirements were something he should have anticipated, but Lelei was not sure he had any of the legal documentations that were required. His people had not provided him with any kind of documentation before or after he came to the land, and he had no idea how he could be tested by a human doctor for diseases. He was most definitely going to have look into all of that on his own.

For the moment, Lelei kept those concerns to himself. Looking around, he felt it was his duty to start the conversation and break the ice. Taking his hand off Eznier, Lelei stood up tall and confident.

"Yes. Question. I don't mean to speak for anyone else, but I assume there are those among us that have a similar concern... Will there be any special accommodations for those of us who aren't, well, Human?"

Lelei glanced back at the dragon and the goblin girl in particular.

Dorito saw the prerequisites coming a mile away. She'd brought her student ID and a notice from the school's nurse. She hadn't said what the note was for, her power made sure the nurse didn't think too much of what this note was for. However, when Lelei brought up facilities to meet the needs of the not-so-human, Dorito nodded and spoke up. "Yeah, are you set up to deal with us?" It was something she had definitely thought of. Would this guy hire his own doctor? Would that doctor even know how to deal with dragons, goblins, and cat boys? It was a real thinker.

Come to think of it Dorito had another question for Donnel. "Wait, what kind of market are you looking for? I mean, where do you plan to sell movies with creatures like dragons and shark men in them?" It was something worth considering. Would they try to pass much of this off as special effects? Not a lot of people even knew Goblins still existed, after all. Dorito mulled over some of the possible consequences of this, maybe this island will become a little more popular. Maybe it'll become more popular with the wrong people? Maybe preconceived notions of supernatural creatures and other such beings would be changed, possible for the worse?

Smiling, Donnel took in each question without any hint of wavering conviction for his proposal. They were all valid questions and he was glad he had an answer for all of them. His business sponsor had a decently wide network of contacts, including a doctor on the island that specialized in the 'special' patients. Said sponsor would also be a key player on distribution in and outside the island.

"Very good questions. I'll answer them one at a time." Nodding towards the dragon as he spoke, he cleared his throat quietly to prepare himself. "For those without documentation due to our unique circumstances, just current name and residence information will suffice. That part of the job is more a formality than anything. The important part is the medical information and checkup."

He turned his gaze to Lelei and Dorito, the two who had brought up the other questions. "My sponsor has a doctor on the island who specializes in the medical care of unique patients such as us. He has the most medical knowledge of such things here, so with his help I'll be able to give you all the best health care possible in Manta Carlos." It's possible some of the others had already seen this doctor as part of regular checkups or even just examinations.

"I know another worry is attracting the wrong kind of attention for the island. That is a concern shared by my sponsor, which is why he's taking the measures on his end to quell that concern. For us, we just do what we specialize in, which is the production. He has specialists for distribution on his end that will minimize negative impacts and hopefully maximize profit."

Giving a light sigh, he turned to look at everyone in the room. "This kind of thing hasn't been done before, at least not here. This is new ground we're breaking, the kind where I've already worked to make sure we're in the law of the island for. I would love for each of you to join me in this venture. I can't say how successful we'll be right now, but if we give it everything we've got I'm sure we can make this company into something big."

~~~~~
Even though his pants muffled the feeling of Lelei's touch, Eznier shivered slightly as he felt the older man grip his thigh. He could feel the strength in his grip and the heat of the contact through the thin fabric. Blushing lightly, the boy shifted slightly so that his growing arousal at the contact brushed against the shark's hand. Hopefully that would show him how eager he was to at least start practicing with him.
His mind seeming to clear a bit when the hand was removed, Ez started paying attention to the question and answer session going on. Everyone was asking serious questions about the job, taking some of the words right out of his own mouth. When it seemed to be over, though, one question that hadn't been asked burned a bit in the boy's mind. Perhaps it wasn't as important as the others but it was something he'd like to know.
"I'm just wondering, if we're going to be like other such...companies, will we have our own stage names?" He blushed a bit more at the subject of his question, wondering what his name would even be. It had been something he'd joked with friends in his home town before but now it suddenly seemed so important. A smile and nod from Donnel made his blush intensify, a silly grin on his face as he waited for them to continue.
Donnel was prompt and clear with his answers, which was just the right kind of response that Lelei hoped he would get from a man of his standing. A gentle tide of relief washed over Lelei when Donnel addressed both concerns raised by himself and the dragon. Lelei got mail, that was usually enough to prove residence, and the police could probably provide some documents backing up his name. Lelei had no idea that there was a doctor on the island who specialized in non-human individuals, and was curious to find out if the doctor minded doing some other check ups since Lelei had not received any kind of check up since his exile.
Satisfied, Lelei sat back down next to Eznier and nodded along with Donnel's continued talk. There was something to be said about Donnel's attitude regarding the whole situation, in that it was quickly convincing Lelei that it really all on the up-and-up. He was professional and respectful, and Lelei could get behind that whatever the circumstance. Bit by bit his hesitance wore away, and Eznier would know most of all as Lelei became more comfortable with him. His hand was quickly back on the boy's thigh again, rhythmically squeezing.
The question about stage names did thrown him for a bit of a loop though.
"Stage names? What are those? Are they like an alias?"
It sounded like this little porno business was more legitimate than Dorito had originally thought. Donnel didn't go into the details though. The operation sounded small time but well organized, but still seemed somewhat vague. There was a very 'don't worry your pretty little head about it' vibe here. Maybe she should back out, drop this idea before she gets into something a bit dirtier than she thought she was getting into.
Nah.
This would be the kind of fun Dorito was looking for, and she wouldn't mind taking a few risks. The more excitement, the better. Besides, Donnel was probably on the level anyways, not wanting to bore people with the details is all. Then someone brought up stage names and the large shark seemed to be new to the term. Dorito spoke up, turning in her seat to face Lelei. "Yeah, like when an author uses a pen name. Its a fake name so that you can do this kind of stuff without people you know immediately knowing its you." After a few seconds of consideration Dorito hit on a bit of a problem. "...Granted, it'd be hard for us to work under screen names since we're all pretty unique in one way or another."
