Adriel is a petite young woman with barely shoulder length blond hair, a very pale yellow colour. She has this haunting look about her, with dark green eyes, pale skin and high cheek bones. She is 5'7 with long legs so tends to look taller than she is, despite being mostly in proportion. Adriel has an affinity for vintage clothes, she likes the 'biker' look and can normally be found with a leather jacket and jeans on. She also wears calf length black cowboy boots and prefers sometimes to make herself look more tomboyish.
Adriel's wings are normally invisible as she chooses to keep them this way, when they are visible to others they are a pristine white colour with silky, fine feathers. The tips of her wings reach to the floor when contracted and folded behind her back, when extended they reach a width of about three foot each.
Personality Description: At heart she's a very conflicted person with two distinct sides to her. The first is the angel she is inside, the angel she was before she fell, strong, confident, powerful and created as a warrior of heaven. The second is the 'human' part of her, childlike, confused, unsure and nervous of new things that she finds difficult to understand. Because of this her emotions often war with each other, and she does her best to suppress them.
Adriel has a taste for drink and other recreational substances to try and calm the anxiety ridden thoughts that circle through her brain. She suffers with a distinct loneliness from having been shunned by her father and abandoned from her brothers and sisters for so many years which she also tries to bury. As she finds it hard to control her emotions she tends to have angry and stressful outbursts on a regular basis.
She is sometimes aloof and will push others away if she thinks she's going to hurt them, or if she thinks they're going to hurt her. Despite this though she craves the love and attention of others as she attempts to replace the love of the family she lost.
Powers:
Telekinesis – Adriel has the ability to move virtually anything by the power of thought alone, although she does sometimes gesture with her hands when moving things purposefully. There is a limit to the size of something she can move, for example anything bigger than a large car would be too much for her. Using her power for heavier and more difficult things drains her energy, leaving her weak and vulnerable, and can make her pass out depending on how difficult something is.
Her power is also linked to her emotions, meaning that to use it properly she has to be calm and focused, which she rarely is lately. When angry, upset or suffering a panic attack things fly about and break around her, she doesn't mean to do this and can't stop it from happening until she's calmed down.
Quick healing – Adriel is able to heal almost instantly from injuries, and is immune to most illnesses that would plague humans. Her healing time takes longer depending on the level of the injury, meaning a cut would heal far quicker than a stab wound. She is vulnerable however to silver and enchanted blades/bullets and would take the same time to heal from these as a mortal human would.
Species Abilities: As she is an angel Adriel is able to take flight and either fly slowly and obviously, or quickly enough to make it seem as if she has 'teleported' from view. She relies on her wings for this though, so if they are damaged or injured she simply can't.
Due to inhabiting a physical form, rather than it being truly her own, Adriel is able to briefly disconnect from her body and leave her physical form for short periods of time to float/fly to various locations, although she isn't able to physically or verbally interact with anything until she returns to her physical form. Adriel also must make sure that her physical form is somewhere safe when in this catatonic state as it leaves her completely at risk.

She was the angel of death and destruction and worked alongside her brother Azrael the angel of death closely. Her duties weren't pretty, she was one of the angels to cause some of the most horrendous human disasters and atrocities,...and she was good at it.
After thousands of years her destiny started to take its toll, and after several encounters with individual mortals she faltered and found herself questioning her actions, and the requests of her father. She was warned by her brother Azrael and others to suppress her doubt for fear of her being cast out of heaven. But Adriel had always been a head strong character and instead decided to approach the archangels, not able to contact her father directly, and asked to change what she did for heaven, to stop.
Her elder angels immediately punished her for her doubt, and when her father heard of it she was cast out without warning into the mortal plane within the body of a human child. Adriel 'grew up' in this body with the majority of her memory missing, having both the personality of an immortal, with the understanding of a child. Her human parents of course never knew this and assumed her outbursts and strange stories to be that of a child with a mood disorder.
When it came to her early teen years and she hit puberty, her memories were thrust back into her head with full force, causing her to have a breakdown and be briefly hospitalised. Adriel then spent the next five or so years dipping in an out of various institutions against her will whenever the distress of her real identity became too much and she acted destructively. Before long she was approached by a representative of Starlight Academy, and offered a haven she had thought was forever lost to her, a place where she didn't have to hide what she was, a place where others might understand her and help her control her powers.
