Since coming to starlight academy, Kueria had constantly been astounded by many things - both regarding the school itself and the modern era. However, if there's one thing that was most likely to remain constant, it was the arts. Though her memory was vague, she recalled that paintings and music alike pride themselves in their rich history, thus she hoped to get a feel of her past era and find fragments of something, anything that she was familiar with when she ventured deep into the arts wing.

Unfortunately, it seemed that her findings would be empty. That was not, by any means, to say she was disappointed. In fact, she was amazed by the elaborate detail put into the paintings she passed but alas this bird was still homesick.

Strolling into a rather empty room, she dejectedly plopped herself on a lone chair and did the one thing she knew how to do. Letting her instincts take over, Kueria begun to sing. She sang a melody lost within the revolutions of time, in a language she had long forgotten. As her voice swayed the ambiance to match her solemn sentiments, she willed the winds to pick up, circulating her whilst tunes from the background crescendoed.

Bel was making her way back from cheerleading practice when she heard somebody singing. Normally, she'd not have had to pass through the Arts Building, but today the group had decided they needed new music to practice to and so Bel had to stop by the media room to get some new tracks.

Following the music, Bel finally discovered the songstress and stood at the door listening raptly while the young girl sang her song. "Very nice," Bel slowly clapped when the singing stopped.

"Are you part of the singing club?" she asked the girl as she leaned comfortably against the door jam.

Kueria immediately perked up at the foreign presence, her gaze scanning the room until it finally rested on a young, ravishing lady. The bird immediately noticed the unique emerald eyes and glossy scarlet lips as she sparred herself a moment to observe the other. With her expression immediately morphing into one of her usual cheery composure, Kueria then hopped off the chair as she practically skipped to the seemingly older girl.

"Singing club?" She tilted her head ever so slightly to the side in confusion before continuing. "Kueria hasn't heard of a singing club." Further closing the distance, she then addressed the other once more, her voice now laced with even more enthusiasm.

"Anyway, Kueria is very happy to meet you! Miss is very pretty, is she in a..." Kueria trailed off, searching for the right words to find. After all, she had quite minimal knowledge of this school and the modern era itself. In the end, she just stared at the poor girl in puzzlement, ending her speech with a barely audible "club or something..."

Bel shot Kueria a very welcoming smile when the brightly colored bird noticed her and hopped over to greet her.

"Yes, I am in a club. I'm the head of the cheerleading squad," she supplied with a playful twinkle in her eye.

"Are you new to the island?" Bel asked her as she took a step into the music room.

Shifting into the stature of a young fae, Kueria tilted her chin up to face the taller woman. "Cheerleading..." the word rolled off the tip of her tongue with some difficulty as she slowly enunciated the foreign term. With her tone kept languid but slightly uneven, she continued to address the other.

"What's cheerleading? Is it a pretty miss sport?" Giving her winds a few quick flaps, she continued in a much more excited tone of voice. “Yes, Kueria just arrived quite recently, how about you miss?”

(Sorry, I somehow missed this.)

"A pretty miss sport?" Bel mused aloud, clearly considering whether or not cheerleading could be described in such a manner.

"Yes, I guess it could be called that," she said amicably as she gazed down at Keuria. "Although there are sometimes boys that join the team too," she explained. "And cheerleaders cheer for school sports teams. They encourage players with chants and dancing."

"No, I'm not new to the school," Bel said with a shake of her head. "I've been here about a year now," she told Kueria.

(its cool don't worry bout it)
Kueria proceeded to nod her head fervently as the young lady before her explained what cheerleading was about. Indeed, to the bird, the prospect of having people dedicated to cheering sports teams on was fascinating. She would have gone as far as to think it was the perfect club for herself save for the fact that it involved chants and dancing rather than singing. Turning her attention to the lady, she then addressed her in the same enthusiastic manner "Miss that's so cool! Has Miss been cheerleading for her whole life?"

I've been here about a year now.

Kueria mouthed a silent wow before bombarding the poor woman with a series of questions "Is Miss also a student? What's Miss's favourite part of the school? Oh, oh, how old is Miss, if you don't mind Kueria asking?"

Bel started laughing and just shook her blond head when the shorter girl started bombarding her with a whole bunch of questions.

"Yes, I am a student, and yes, I am in grade 12," she giggled, clearly amused by the younger girl's enthusiasm. It was refreshing to be honest. A lot of her friends had forgotten how amazing the island was, and it reminded her of how she felt when she had arrived on Manta Carlos.

"And my favorite part of the school is the school itself," she told Kueria. "I have never been or studied in a place like this," she admitted with a smile.

Kueria was honestly relieved that the other seemed to be unfazed by her torrent of questions. It seemed that Bel was only a year older than her which came off as quite a surprise the girl due to her mature aura.

I have never been or studied in a place like this.

Inevitably, that made the inquisitive fae wonder where the other had studied previously. Perhaps it was considered rude to ask about another's past but before she could stop herself, she was already leaning, giving her wings a few excited flaps as she did so before she blurted:

"Kueria hasn't studied here before too, she was at a seaside! Where did Miss study before coming here?"

"At the seaside!?" Bel remarked with great interest. "Me too!" she added happily - sea. "I was born on an island, and then taken away to study on the coast of Wales. I was schooled by a group of druids," she told the younger girl.

"What about you? Where did you live before coming to Manta Carlos?" she asked curiously as she leaned against the wall and slid down to sit on the floor, crossing her legs in the process.
