"Miss had a demon roommate? That sounds so cool!" she exclaimed just a little louder than she intended to. Wait a second if she had a roommate, that means she must stay at the student dorms as well. The bird slowly froze in place as she took her time to arrive at that conclusion. Eventually, she let out a sharp gasp before continuing.

"That means Miss stays at the dorms! Kueria stays at the dorms too! Does this mean we're both living in the same building?" Shifting in a little closer, the girl immediately started asking even more questions. "Does Miss have any other roommates? So far Kueria doesn't have any. Are roommates nice?"

Bel smiled at Kueria and her question and then shrugged before answering. "Yes... I guess that it does," she said. "I guess we are both living here at the school."

"Having a roommate can be good fun. I really enjoyed it... and no, I am not rooming with anyone. The girl I was supposed to share a room with this year decided to move in with her sister instead," she explained with a laugh as she tried to keep up with the flurry of questions.

"Miss is rooming alone?" The girl thought back to her life at the dorm. Sure, the alone time was nice at the start, however, after a while, things started to get boring. As the days went by, she found herself increasingly going out rather than staying in. Kueria had heard of people who prefered to be alone most of the time though - perhaps Bel was like that. Peering up at the other, her eyes glistened with curiosity as she asked:

"Doesn't Miss get a lonely sometimes?"

Bel answered Kueria without thinking too much about her reply, and simply nodded in agreement.

"Yes, it gets lonely sometimes. I do miss having a roommate some days," she admitted as she thought very briefly about Agnes, one of her old roommates who she had had a rocky beginning with and who, in the end, turned out to be a good friend.

"Why do you ask?" Bel asked Kueria very curiously.

"Kueria is rooming alone right now and it's getting boring. Someone told her that what she felt could be loneliness so she was hoping ot understand a little more about what that meant." Pausing, she remembered that she was supposedly going to move in with a new dorm parent soon thus making her current predicament a temporary one. Perking up, she then continued:

"But she heard a teacher and some roommates are coming to stay with Kueria so she's okay now! She was just a little scared they would find Kueria weird or something."

"I wouldn't worry about any of that," Bel told her. "You'll be just fine. I'm pretty sure that you will make lots of friends. and get along with your dormmates too."

"Heck, I've only just met you and I already feel comfortable around you," Bel admitted as she walked over to a desk and sat down on the table part.

"Really?" The girl tilted her head up as her smile brightened to a beam. "Thanks Miss!" Kueria followed suit and practically skipped over towards the tables as she continued "Kueria is very comfortable with Miss too! She feels like Miss gives really good advice!"

Sparring a glance at her watch, she gaped ever so slightly at the amount of time that had passed. In the most apologetic tone she could muster, she then said "Kueria's so sorry, she needs to go really soon! But before she forgets, what is Miss's name?"

"It's fine, I should be going too," Bel said amiably as she also quickly glanced at the time and saw she was going to be late if she didn't get a move on soon.

"Oh, I'm Beltane, or Bel, most people just call me Bel," she explained as she stood up to leave, having realised then, that quite embarrassingly, she had not introduced herself yet.

“Beltane.” The girl repeated, her name rolling off the tip of her tongue with some difficulty. “Wow it’s a really pretty name! Kueria is glad to have gotten to meet Bel!” Giving her wings a few flaps, a vibrantly pink cloud encapsulated the girl as she poofed back into a bird. “Kueria hopes she sees Bel again soon! Maybe she’ll see Bel cheerleading one day!”

Letting out a few chirps of excitement, the bird bowed it’s head as a parting gesture before taking her leave.
