From what Bel was saying, Kueria drew the conclusion that the goddess before her was mature, knowledgable and definitely knew a lot more about interacting with others that she does. The fae paused for a few beats of silence as she contemplated if it was fitting to bother the other girl with her kind of stupid, confusing, not-exactly-problems. Inhale, exhale. Finally, she spoke, her voice doing little to hide the slight trepidation she had in asking for advice from someone she just met.

"Kueria has this friend who's super nice to her! He doesn't seem very private... Kueria thinks... He was talking to Kueria when he took her fishing and stuff! Kueria's just confused because he's like a more than friend kind of friend? A good friend?" Trailing off, the girl simply tilted her head to a side as her expression morphed into one of puzzlement. Letting out a light hum, she ended her speech with a lame "Kueria's confused."

"A good friend? Who's a boy?" Bel asked with a knowing smile, now extremely curious about who Kueria was interested in.

"It wouldn't be a guy called Destra or Yuki?" she asked curiously as she named off a couple of guys she thought highly of and considered really nice.

"Hmm, nope! Kueria's first friend was Eein! She came to starlight academy recently so she hasn't met many new people yet." Pausing for a moment, she thought that providing some description would be fitting, especially so if Bel and Eein were already acquainted.

"He's tall like super tall! He's also very... blue! Oh, oh and he's a dragon! Kueria met him by pecking him in his sleep because she thought he was a rock. Does Miss know him?"

"I do know of Eien. He's, ah, nice, quite popular actually," Bel said as she shot Kueria a semi-guarded glance. She had not expected her to be interested in the young nature dragon, and from what Bel knew Eien was popular among the girls. Although she did not say this to Kueria since she really had no idea her level of interest, or if it wasn't just infatuation or enthusiasm at making new friends.

The fae noticed the very slight change in expression, though she wasn't quite sure how to interpret it as. Perhaps the two weren't exactly on friendly terms with each other or something. She wasn't surprised to hear that her newfound friend was rather popular though - he seemed friendly enough to interact with just about anyone. Tilting her head a little to the side, she then further inquired:

"Miss knows him? That's so cool! Has Miss heard anything about him?"

Bel nodded slowly at the fae's question about Eien. "I do know him. Not that we are friends or anything, it's just that he's in a few of my classes, and he dated a girl in my class too," Bel explained to her.

Has Miss heard anything about him?"

Here Bel wasn't sure what to say at first. "Well, not that I can say for sure, but I think he is now dating a faun, and a friend of mine saw him hanging out with a succubus called Kaya," she told Kueria.

"I mean, I could be wrong, but us cheerleaders hear a lot of gossip, and Eein is probably a nice guy... just, you know, be careful, okay?!" Bel told the younger and much more innocent girl, not wanting her to get hurt.

Kueria nodded as the other girl told her what she knew. Not to say that it was unexpected that Eein already seemed to have someone special in his life but she couldn't help but feel a slight pang disappointment. Quickly brushing it off, her lips then curled to form a grateful smile. Though the information wasn't the best, she somehow felt as though couldn't thank Bel enough for her newfound knowledge. Slowly easing herself back into her cheery composure, she then spoke.

"Thanks so much Miss! Kueria will definitely take note."

but us cheerleaders hear a lot of gossip

For some reason that line perked the girl's attention. Perhaps it was because she had limited knowledge on clubs, however, at this point clubs seemed like a very good place to meet new people and know new things.

"Gossip? What kind of gossip does Miss hear? Is there a lot of bad stuff going on in starlight academy?"

Bel was surprisingly relieved that she had not upset Kueria. In fact, she had not realised until now how much she had grown into being like the goddess, Beltaine, and this made her feel kinda warm and fuzzy inside.

Giving Kueria a big grin. "We hear a lot of things. Good and bad, I guess," she admitted as she fiddled with the ends of her long blond hair.

"I don't think Starlight has anything bad going on, There are groups that not great though and try to cause problems like Citizens Against Evil," she explained, wrinkling her nose at their mention.

"They dislike demons and the like. We even, or should I say "I", got a letter from them complaining about some of our squad members," Bel confessed, remembering the letter with disgust.

This was the first Kueria had heard of racism in starlight, or at all for that matter. She took note of how the other girl seemed extremely dissatisfied at that certain group of people's attitude. It was a bit much for the girl to comprehend - birds almost never discriminated against each other this way and it was hard to wrap her mind around the fact that people could harbour such prejudice against demons just because of a stereotype.

"Kueria doesn't understand why people don't like demons. Kueria thought the demons here are good!" Stepping in a little closer, the fae raised her eyebrows ever so slightly as her expression slowly morphed into one of curiosity. "What does Miss think about the letter? Is it only these people that don't like demons?"

Bel glanced at Kueria, and couldn't help but smile at her concern. "Yes. Demons here on the island are generally good. However, in other places, they are seen as evil... and sometimes, they can be evil," she admitted somewhat sadly.

"But, yeah, I disagree with the letter. I can perhaps understand why those people sent it, but I do not agree with it one bit," she confessed with a frown.

"My one roommate last year was a demon, and she was the coolest person ever. It's just too bad she had to go back home.... I really miss hanging out with her," she told Kueria.
