Ezra looked at Tadashi with almost amused expression despite their face barely shifting in any way. "I should have expected as much. You are feline in nature so it would make sense that you enjoy partaking in fish." They watched as Tadashi list off other options that Ezra would most likely enjoy. The one he had specifically recommended had caught their eye and after careful consideration, they decided it would be the best option.
"Thank you for the recommendation, Tadashi. I do believe that I will follow your choice and try the one you had tried previously." They paused for a moment before looking at the bakeneko with a tilted, lingering gaze. There was a silence before they finally spoke. "I had almost forgotten what it looked like when you smiled, Tadashi. It is... good that you have such a pleasant smile." Ezra nodded, as if their words were some sort of sage knowledge. After another moment, they looked down at their menu again but didn't open it up. "...Do you know if the dish you chose would go well with tea?"
