Rachel scowled. "I'm a witch, Magdelina." She sniffed indignantly. "I don't need a reason." She started singing off key to Alex

Adelina could have killed that woman... and if worse came to worse, she really would. "Stop singing. You'll make my boy cry, and if you do that..." A threatening, dangerous look came to Adelina's eyes. This was definitely a mood that she shouldn't have been messed with in.

"He already IS crying. And I have a perfectly fine voice. I could have been a broadway singer, you know." Rachel said in a genuine and haughty voice.

Andrew couldn't hold back a snort. "Yo, can you just give me the kid so we can move on with this?" He said impatiently.

Adelina had to refrain from cursing. She didn't want little Alex to hear bad words come from his own mommy's mouth.

Ice started to spread over the floor and the walls. Her eyes would have gone red if that was possible for her — but she didn't really need a change in eye color to show that she was ticked. "You asked for this..." she said, running at the with again. She could hurt the woman without harming her own child.

Rachel-Sidaj just shrugged and held the baby out infront of her.

"Addie! Stop!" Andrew yelled.

Alex wailed.

Sidaj moved Alex so that he blocked her legs from the sword. Alex didn't even cry. He just...died.

Adelina's brown eyes went wide and just stared at the body of her son. Her breathing seemed to stop, as well as her heart. Her sword disappeared and, upon the realization that Alexander Jenson, her own son, had been killed by her own hand.

She had come to save him... and yet she had murdered him...

Falling to her knees, her powers were definitely going out of control. The ice was forming into spikes and it seemed like snow clouds were forming outside. One thing was certain, though; all those spikes, all the streams — they were aimed at Sidaj.

The fact that she had killed her own child was causing her absolute pain. Though she was alive on the outside, Adelina was officially dead on the inside. The baby had depended on her... and she hadn't done a thing to save it. If anything, she had only helped Alexander to his end.

She looked down and hugged herself as she cried, not bothering to pay attention to her surroundings in the slightest.

Andrew knew almost immediately what he had to do. Addie was going catatonic, and there was no way he would be able to fight Sidaj himself. Not then, at any rate. His hands were shaking. He dropped the sword and picked up a brick that had been taken out of the outside wall. He threw it at Sidaj. It smacked her in the head and she went unconcious.

Andrew knelt next to Addie. "Addie, we've got to go. Now." He said gently, but firmly. He picked up his sons lifeless body and took Addie's hand.
