Adelina ignored the puppy eyes. They really had no affect on her anyway. "Laser pointers really wouldn't hurt them," she said. "Make their eyes hurt? Maybe. Kill and crush them to nothing but ashes like they deserve? Unfortunately not."

"Well, even so," Cordelia said, "it WOULD surprise her. Wouldn't she think we had more brains than to just barge in? They'll expect us to be smart, or at least over think, I'm sure."

Cordelia merely stared at him. "Am I now?" she questioned.

Adelina looked at Petrova and rolled her eyes. "Yes, we are. We have laser pointers on the plan!"

Andrew nodded but didn't meet her gaze. "Yes."

Petrova rolled her eyes. "YEAH THAT'LL totally help!" She bellowed.

Cordelia merely stared at him with those dark, threatening eyes of hers. "And how so?" she asked.

Adelina rolled her eyes to mock Petrova. "Said by the one who hasn't even come up with a SINGLE THING," she said, brown eyes narrowed.

Andrew kept looking down, not wanting to meet her mean gaze. "She thinks everyone's stupid besides herself."

Petrova glowered. "Well at least I'm not suggesting moronic things!!"

Dog wheezed and ran for cover. He crawled under one of the couches, and all that could be seen was the tip of his nose.

"How is that underestimating her?" Cordelia asked. "She's wrong, I don't see how I thought less of her if she just thinks everyone is stupid."

Adelina snorted. "Better than nothing, idiot," she said. "Besides, those laser pointers really do hurt peoples eyes!"
