Adelina ran through the trees, brown hair blowing behind her. There was a look of distress in her brown eyes and panic was spreading all over her face. Clothes were black, as always, and seemed to fit the occasion that was about to happen.

"I'll kill her!" the mother screamed, stumbling over a root and falling on the ground. Mud stained her pants and the palms of her hands as she tried to catch herself. Tears were falling from her eyes and her shoulders were shaking.

She had taken Alexander. That witch had taken her little boy... and she was going to pay the price. If she harmed one little hair on her sons head...

Getting up, she didn't even bother to brush herself off before running again. She had to get to Sidaj's castle before anyone harmed her child.

Andrew grabbed Addie's arm. "Hey, calm down, sweety." He drew her into a tight embrace. "We'll get him back, hon," He whispered, his voice cracking. "It'll be okay." He was only partly talking to Addie. He had to reassure himself too.

Adelina squirmed around in the embrace, trying to get free. "No, it's NOT OK!" she screamed, pushing herself out of his arms and running again. That hadn't reassured her at all. The doctors had said her parents would be ok, that everything would be fine — but they were dead. And that was going to happen to Alexander if they didn't hurry.

"We have to get there, Andrew," she said. "Stop reassuring me and yourself and RUN or we're never gonna see our son again!!"

Tears were running down her face, but she wouldn't cry. That would only take away from her strength, and she needed it at the moment if she was going to run all through the forbidden to find that castle.

Andrew realized his words had had no effect on her nor him, so he ran with her. He knew her words were true, but every ounce inside of him wanted to deny it all. He couldn't begin to think of how he would live if he lost his son. It would positively kill him. Not to mention what it would do to Addie, which would kill him even more.

They arrived at the castle. The gate opened. Andrew opened the door and went in hesitantly. Right away he saw Rachel holding Alex.

"I was expecting you two." She said with a cackle.

Adelina ran into the castle without even hesitating. Angry tears ran down her cheeks and she only stopped running to look at Sidaj holding her child. Ice started to cover not only Adelina's nails, but her fingers as well. She was more than angry, more than furious. In fact, the only thing that might be able to describe her was a mother on a rampage.

But that didn't really seem to fit either.

"I was expecting you two."

"You should have been," the seventeen-year-old said. "We're not as heartless as to let our little boy be killed. That's something YOU would do, not Andrew or myself."

It was time to end this. Sidaj was going down.

Her sword came to hand and Adelina ran at the woman, ready for a fight. She would make sure she didn't hurt Alex, though; never in a million years would she do that.

Rachel quickly moved the baby in front of her to protect herself. Alex started crying even harder than before. "Not a good idea, Maddie."

Andrew looked around for a weapon and spotted a sword a foot away from his side. He picked it up. He wouldn't do anything now, because Alex didn't need both parents swinging swords around, but he might need it later.

Adelina's fists clenched so tightly that the blood was barely circulating in her hands. Not only because Sidaj didn't get her name right, but because of how heartless she was. "Put my son DOWN!" she demanded, not going to play games. Not with the life of her child.

"Or I'm seriously going to kill you." And she would, too. Adelina could be just as cruel as Sidaj if she wanted to be.

Rachel stuck her tongue out like a little child. "You can't make me." She petted Alex's head like he was a toy poodle. "And I wouldn't hurt me if I were you, because I have your son and I'm not afraid to kill him, Maggie." She knew Addie hated it when she did that.

Rachel smirked. "I want YOU," She motioned to Addie, "to DIE! Just, die, die, DIE!" She cackled maniacally.
