Everyone I'd known in my lifetime had been poisoned from the amount of carbon released into the air, and eventually dissipated. So yeah, if I had a sanity to begin with, I'd have gone insane." A sad smile was visible for a second, with pain in his eyes, before he managed to adopt the same expression as before. Rolling over to face her, Sky answered "Well, I think so. This place does look an awful lot like my earth, although I haven't been off this island as of now."
