"I said I was lucky I have no sanity to loose in the first place. I spent two hundred years flying around, alone. Everyone I'd known in my lifetime had been poisoned from the amount of carbon released into the air, and eventually dissipated. So yeah, if I had a sanity to begin with, I'd have gone insane." A sad smile was visible for a second, with pain in his eyes, before he managed to adopt the same expression as before. Rolling over to face her, Sky answered "Well, I think so. This place does look an awful lot like my earth, although I haven't been off this island as of now."

"But what I mean is, has oil been mined in this timeline? Has the combustion engine been invented? Have you still got millions of cars pumping out carbon monoxide? I've already figured out that none of the elemental Spirits exist here, but I just want to know what kind of place I've landed in."

"Ahh... well... shit. Thats rough..." was all Nyota could come up with. What was she suppose to respond to something like that anyway? She thought she had it rough sometimes but Sky had experianed some shit that left her dumbfounded. Lost for hundreds of years and everyone he knew being poisoned?

"Well... drilling for oil but yes they are still doing that here. And yes to pretty much all of those things. If the Republicans get their way they are going to keep digging until we burn the last of those fossil fuels. But we have some electric cars so... we have that going for us I suppose. So maybe we are not entirely doomed? I dunno." responded Nyota. Well if what Sky said was true... it sounded like her planet was going to become as toast as Sky's. Guess those environmentalist hippies were really onto something.

"Well... Quite literally, the only differences I've seen are that this island exists, and that the spirits don't exist. Apart from that, this place seems to be exactly the same as my universe, and no time-jumps either. Thank the sky. Anyway, I doubt those electric cars will really help. That power is still created using fossil fuels, and I can't really have that." Sky sighed, looking out of the window and into the sky.

"Oh yeah, there's something I kinda forgot to mention. At the current market price, my heart is worth around 50 billion US dollars. I mean, in a world where none of us existed, I don't need to worry about some random guy with a bottle jumping out at me, but y'know. That's how the last few died. Some guys found them, managed to put them under enough stress to go into hibernation and crystallise their Cores, and, well, you get this." Sky's eyes closed, and a small, pale blue orb floated into existence in front of him, and dropped down into his hand. A perfect sphere, with the middle seeming to almost twist if you looked close enough. "This thing is what keeps me alive. My conciousness, my power, my personality. It must be strange for a human to picture something like that, I guess." Should I really be telling someone things like this? Well, you gotta tell somebody at some point. You can't just let it sit there for another century or so, he considered, then turned his attention back to Nyota

Nyota raises an eyebrow. His heart really worth 50 billion? Maybe it was an exaggeration but that was a stupid amount of money... so much that she has no idea what any one person would do with that sort of money. The sort of information that Sky should probably keep to himself as to not attract too much unwanted attention to himself. As Sky holds out the orb to her, she found herself staring at it. She wasn't sure what she was expecting... to her it reminded her of some fancy glass ball.

"Ummm... ow... okey. That a fuckload a money... probably shouldn't go around telling people that... just saying. You don't what people would do for 50 billion. Hell people kill each other for the newest iPhones." recommend Nyota as pulled herself back, a little weirded out by this information about Sky. It was only a moment she considered the life she could have with 50 billion dollars... but as easy of a life it would be that wasn't her. She was quick to shut that thought out of her mind. Besides, he might be worth 50 billion from where he was but here... probably next to worthless.

"Wouldn't want you trapped like some genie on a bottle." she mused, then continued with "Well your here now on this magical island so even if the rest of the world gets choked out from soot or whatnot, I'm sure this place will be just fine. Thought that being said... what is is 10,000 year old air spirit coming to school for? I mean... you look about my age but... well... do you really feel that you needed to be attending school?"

"As funny as it is, I still don't know a ton about the human world. I do math about as well as anyone who's around this body's age, and my science isn't the best. So, y'know, I figured that I might as well go to a place built to learn stuff." Sky shrugged, the orb disappearing back into the air. "And there isn't much halm mentioning my worth in a world where I don't exist, if you know what I mean. The thing doesn't have a meaning here, since nobody knew about it before."

"Eh... guess you make some sense there. Well anyway, if your ever struggling with school stuff don't come to me... I'm terrible with school stuff. Except for art... the only class that I have that is above a C." commented Nyota as she gets up and strolls on over to her bed, her eyes wander onto the personal items left out on the stand next to her bed.

"Ehh, Im sure you will do fine here at school though... so yeah." shrugged Nyota, starting to run out of small talk material as she looks over to where Sky's bed is. "Soo... ummm... any luggage?"

Sky shrugged. "Well, I sorta came through a portal by accident, so I can't exactly say I packed. I mean, do the blades count?" Facing his palms upwards and then spreading then apart, various air currently suddenly began to condensate and twist into two small, gem-like shapes.

From these, more wind layered itself onto them and shaped outwards, along with Sky's 'Magic(?)' to quickly form the shape of a sword-like weapon, the outward edge being far longer than the inner one, therefore appearing to look similar to a schimitar with the tip shaped more like an arrowhead than anything else. Except they were about as big as your arm. This process all took place in the span of about five seconds, and did the same with the second 'gem', which was now fused into the hilt of the blade. Setting them both down on his bed, he replied, "Well, there's my luggage. If you could call it that. Are weapons allowed in here?"

"Blades?" perked up Nyota, giving Sky a raised eyebrow. Looking him over she did not see any blades on him, that was until he held out his hands and materialized a twin set of crystalline-like swords in front of her very eyes.

"Whoa! Thats wicked! I dunno about weapons but... well considering half of the people here are living weapons of sorts I don't think you need to worry. Just so long as your careful whom you point those things at." answered Nyota. Seeing him make those blades made her wonder what else he could make...

"So like... anything else you can make? Like... I dunno... a chair, a vase or a-" Nyota paused as she recollected something and realized that she was an idiot "Ghhaa... right... you said your only luggage was your blades." groaned Nyota as she smacks her forehead with the palm of her hand.

"So... you said you came here by... accident was it? How exactly does one accidentally end up here in the first place?"

"I can create other things," Sky replied, taking a seat on the apparent nothingness below him. "But you can't really see them. I've been working on the blades for a while, and managed to get them physical, but everything else is solid, but not all that physical. If that makes any sense." After the second question came up, he paused for a second, trying to remember what happened. Dimension jumping always did this to him- scattered the memories around the time he jumped and meant that remembering wasn't all that easy.

"I... Think it was a centimatter pocket connection. Yeah, pretty sure that was it. Anyway, I was on one of my usual stratospheric flights, going to visit a water spirit I know. And then, of course, a connection opens up in front of me, incorporeal me doesn't really have the capacity to escape something like that, so I get pulled through to here. Judging from what I've seen, there's a damn lot of the stuff here." With a frown, Sky pondered quietly to himself, "So where does Oceana think I am now? I told her I'd get to her in the next two days, and seeing as I'm normally on time to this stuff... Oh fuck, she probably thinks I'm dead by now. Shit. Well, I can tell her what happened when I get back. Assuming I get back in the next century, which I find pretty unlikely."

Suddenly realising that he was still talking to somebody, Sky quickly snapped out of his muttering, and refocused on Nyota. "So, I gotta ask, how did you manage to come across the body of a sun god? I'm pretty sure you don't just find the things anywhere," he asked, hastily trying to change the subject

Nyota just nods her head slowly up and down, trying to pass of that she understood eveything Sky was saying. In truth, she had no fricking clue about half the things he was saying. The only things that stuck out to her was that he was stuck in her world for a century and his significant other might be the ocean.

"Uh... huh... okey some... portal thingy. Makes sense. Hope your friend wont worry too much..." stated Nyota, sort of shrugging. Then the conversation shifted back to her and how it was she managed to eat a sun god.

"Oh boy... were do I start with this one..." lulled Nyota as he head fell back to the couch and stared up to the ceiling. "Well... I guess I would have to thank my crazy Chinese grandmother for that one. I was... dying of super cancer at the time so she was trying to concoct a whole bunch of herbal remdies for her only granddaughter, me. With everyday getting worse, she brought to her her lucky black marble and I was so loopy from drugs the doctors at the hospital injected in me that I ate the marble like it was candy. Gosh... I must have been really out of it to think that little black orb the size of a grape was medicine. It was only later that I learned that... it was actually the conpressed remains of some ancient sun god that may have almost destoyed the world a long time ago. Since then... everything has been... different..."

As she trails off from her words... she holds out her stump arm and holds it over her face, as if inspecting it.

"Funny how had that not happened I would still have my left arm but I would also be like... really dead too. Just something about eating an old dead firebird curing cancer... who would have known right? So yeah... thats that." she remarked as she lays the arm to her side.
