Once he had been given a short rundown of the school, Sky had thought it best to visit the dorms. Once he got there he'd at least be able to see what kind of people he'd be with, and ask where the hell he was. Dematerializing, his now intangible form shot forwards, running through the many rooms and corridors of the school. He passed several people, appearing to be a light breeze as he flew beside them, and eventually ended up in a room with a bunch of beds, which he assumed to be the dormitory. Looking around the dorm for a second, Sky twisted his body into a physical form, hovering around an inch above the ground, just as the door opened and someone walked in

"Come... on... fricking... door..." growled Nyota as she tried to open the door out of the bathroom. She was having trouble opening the door using her bare foot while at the same time brushing her teeth. Anyone one else would have had no problem but being one hand short just made her life that much more difficult. She was used to it, having to make do with one hand and occasionally having to get by with fancy footwork but of course but it still irritated her.
After some careful maneuvering, Nyota finally fandangled the door knob until it opened. It was a small victory but she will take it.
"There we go! Yo roomies... do you know why- oh! Ummm..." gargled Nyota as she continued to brush her teeth before her wolds trailed off she opened the door and found some boy standing just on the other side. A boy that she did not recognized... and was standing in the middle of her dorm room she slept in. She was still caught off guard with coming face to face with this stranger but she knew that something had to be said as he wasn't suppose to be here. Was the door to the dorm left open by one of her dumb roommates or was he invited in by one of them? Did he slip in through some other means?
However it was he entered, she didn't want to take her eyes off of him so instead of spitting out the toothpaste into the nearby sink like she should, she swallowed the minty saliva in her mouth. She shudders a bit, disgusted momentary as she could still mistiness throughout her throat but... she had other priories so she suck it up and rested the toothbrush she was still holding to her side of her thigh.
"Hey dork!" she called out to him, her voiced raised to get his attention. While she spoke with a stern voice, there was no hint of hostility in her tone, at least for now "Are you lost or something? Cause if not, could you explain why it is your in MY dorm? Did someone leave the door wide open again or are you suppose to be my new roommate? If not-" she then lifts up her arm and points her toothbrush to the intruder threateningly "- I suggest you get out... or else."

Sky raised his hands in mock surrender. "I am very sorry. Please don't hurt me with your toothbrush. I'm gonna guess that you're my new roommate, seeing as this was the place I was told to go to, and as for how I got in..." Sky's body disappeared, and his now incorporeal form flew straight through the girl, a simple breeze flowing through the room, before materialising behind her and tapping her on the shoulder. "I think that answers that. I'm not even sure if this door was locked in the first place. So, your name is?" Whilst he spoke, Sky gave the person in front of him a quick run-down. Of course, the fact that her eyes were glowing was a pretty significant heads-up that she had some sort of ability. He had seen some Fire spirits with similar traits, but normally the rest of the body was also made of fire. This person, however, did seem to dislike the cold, seeing as she was wearing clothes which were definitely made to conserve heat. She also appeared to be more of the instinctual type, reacting to what she felt as opposed to what she thought. Sky had always wondered how humans did things like that. Giving his hand a quick flick, the window pulled itself shut, which he reasoned would stop the room becoming too cold, and then turned his attention back to the girl
"New roommate?" inquired Nyota as she lowered the toothbrush. Was she suppose to get a new roomate? There was an bed but she expected some sort of head up of his arrival. Maybe she missed the memo or whatever. She believed him, not seeing any reason for him to lie to her.
The new kid was quick to demonstrate his power to her, disappearing suddenly but she could feel an unnatural gust in the room flowing past her and suddenly was behind her playfully tapping she shoulder. Naturally she spun around and took a step back, instinct telling to knock him out but she held herself back.
"Jeezbus! Okey so that is how you got in but a little warning next time okey! I was a hair's width away from smacking you." snapped Nyota, taking a step back from him. "Anyway... next time you want to just come in here could you do us both a favor and at least knock first before barging in? I could have been undressing into my school clothes in here when you decided to come in like that." grumbled Nyota, thankful to having the foresight of putting on her sweatpants and hoodie on. Otherwise this whole conversation would have been a lot more awkward if he caught her in nothing but her undergarments "Anyway... just to make sure... your positive this your new dorm correct? You didn't get the room numbers mixed up now did ya? I'm just making sure here."

"I'm pretty sure this is the place. Unless a magic school also has magically teleporting rooms to go with it. Going through a tempromental dimensional anomaly does mean you don't exactly get early notice." Sky frowned momentarily upon remembering that, but it wasn't exactly like he was in a rush to get home. There was nothing left to look forward to. "And just to make things clear, I am a ten thousand year old, semi-living spirit with the ability to wipe out a city. Got it? Oh yeah, and my name is Sky. Because apparently some humans are kinda surprised when they find out about stuff like this, so I should clear it up." Turning and looked around the room, Sky spotted an apparently clear bed with no signs of being occupied, as opposed to the other in the room, and sat down on it.
"I do have a habit of surprising people, so try and hold back your 'Punch anything that makes you jump' instincts for a while, okay? I'd prefer to not have to drop you from the roof." The joking tone in Sky's voice was clear, and a cheeky grin had began to show on his face as he spoke

"Whoa really? That sounds badass." complimented Nyota in response to comment about being able to destroy a city. She always found those with power to be appealing and to be respected so he has already made a good impression on her. "Well... your sure this is your new dorm then... welcome aboard. Not sure what a 10,000 year old spirit is doing in school but... whatever, I can dig it. Since your being frank with me I might as be frank with you Sky. The name is Nyota" she stated, pointing to herself with her toothbrush.
"Just some dumb Nebraska girl who accidentally ate a dormant sun god. Since then I have been blessed with useless glowing eyes and the ability to make tiny stars so I dunno what that makes me. Can't say they that I am able to wipe off a city off a map but I do have these... memories of the old bird scorching the earth back when it was alive and breathing so... maybe oneday I can get to your level." replied Nyota with shrug, still amused by his earlier statement. As time went on she thought herself getting a little stronger as time went so who knows the limits of her powers.
"Right well I don't like getting surprised or anything so... avoid sneaking up on me or at least give him warning? I would likewise want to avoid melting your face off with a bolt of superheated plasma because you startled me." chuckled Nyota for a moment before giving him a serious expression once "I'm serious okey... I don't want to go back to Juvie Island and you don't want to find yourself there either... so lets avoid maiming each other or some dumb shit like that okey?" proposed Nyota, pllacing the toothbrush in her left armpit and then holding out her arm to Sky so that they can shake on her proposed deal.

Sky tilted his head slightly, then reached his own arm out and shook Nyota's hand. "I think I can stick with that. I really don't want my face melted off with a bolt of superheated plasma. This body took me five hundred bloody years to make, and I am not planning on making another one. But yeah, sun powers. I think I knew a fire spirit who could do something similar at one point, but they rarely leave the actual sun these days. Urgh... Anyway, I should probably stop rambling. Plus, I would like to emphasize that wiping a city off the map involves a very big tornado and is a pain in the ass to do. So the odds of me doing it are around zero to zero at the moment. So, what's with the clothing? Do you have an issue with the cold? So, say, this?" Sky gave his hand a small wave, and the air in the room suddenly sunk downwards and through a crack in the door, essentially making the room five degrees (°c) cooler.
At first Nyota thought he was referring to the Star Trek logo on the hoodie she was wearing but after he mentioned her apparent issue with the cold that is when she realized what he meant. And was it just her or did her did the room get a little colder
"Oh my clothes? Ehh... more like I find them comfortable but... that being said yes. Ever since the change I... haven't been able to handle the cold as used to. But hey, at least I can walk into a furnace without any harm to myself save for whatever clothes I am wearing. And ummm... ummm okey speaking about handing the cold did you just make the room a bit chillier?" questioned Nyota, suspicious that the chill she felt was Sky's doing. It was... certainly in his realm of powers of some 1000 year old spirit... possibly?

Sky commented, absent-mindedly spinning a very small whirlwind of clouds on his index finger whilst he spoke. "I should probably also mention that this isn't actually me," he said to Nyota, gesturing to himself. Straight after doing this, he spontaneously faded away, the person being replaced with nothingness.
"This is the actual me," Sky spoke, his voice coming from seeing nowhere, and from no particular direction. "I don't have any sort of normal body. I built that one, and it took me a fucking ridiculous amount of time too. Oh yeah, and I should probably mention that if you're gonna get changed, I'm hanging around like this most of the time. She was half expecting him to turn into some muscular dude made out of clouds or something along those lines but instead... nothing. At first she thought he turned invisible until she could hear his omnipresent voice all around her.
"H-huh? So your just naturally invisible or something? I mean... I can hear you all around me but... I was sort of expecting something more flashy. " spoke Nyota, still looking around herself, still expecting to see something. Oh course she couldn't see shit so she looked back at the space he once was. As the winds riled up her hair and obstructed her vision, she brushed aside her bangs only to find Sky materialize directly in front of her.
"Ah, there you are... well if I don't see you in the room I will make sure to call out your name. So you said it was only just 5 degrees? Really? Feels colder than that..." remarked Nyota as a shiver runs down her body, thinking in terms of Fahrenheit and not Celsius when it came to temperature.
