"Welp, air isn't exactly flashy. Without a body, I'm just a cloud of nothingness. Which is what I normally am. And when I said five degrees, I meant five degrees colder. This is five degrees, period." Without making any visible movement, most of the air in the room sank down, allowing colder air in and dropping the temperature to a wintry five degrees. And due to the fact that is was the room itself that was dropping in temperature, the clothing she was wearing would do near nothing to block out the cold.

"Brrrrr... yeah no... can y-y-you like... s-s-stop that?" demanded Nyota, her teeth chattering somewhat as she goes to lift her hand.

As she opens her palm, swirling gasses begin to condense just above her hand. These gases continue to swirl and begin to glow brighter and brighter until it collapses unto itself and suddenly there is bright miniature yellow sun just above her hand. The moment this tiny star was born however, it begins to expand in volume until it went from the size of basketball to something about the size of a large beachball. Its coloration shifts from the sun-like yellow to an orange glow until finally it transitions to a great fiery red star. Once it had formed, the entire room would suddenly become warmer, the temperature climbing until everything 75 feet away from the red start is about 18 degrees (Celsius) warmer than it previously was.

"Ahhhh.... so much fucking better dont you think?" chimed Nyota, commanding the red star to move in the middle of the dorm room, just above all of the furniture as it continues to radiate a disgusting wave of heat within most of the room.

"Well, that is quite impressive." Sky commented, disappearing and rematerializing a short distance away from the very small sun. "But I mean, since we're showcasing our powers, I think this would look good next to it." Sky curled his hands, and the wind in the room began to circulate, banding closer together until they had formed a small, although currently invisible whirlwind. Shifting the location to straight under the star, the air spirit slowly fed more energy into the thing, until it was nearly exactly the same width as the ball of gas, and spanned the gap from the floor to the thing. Whilst doing this, a small pillar of wind formed below Nyota, pulling her slightly to the side so that the thing wouldn't land on her. Once she was a relatively safe distance away, the pillar disappeared.

Sky then quickly condensed most of the moisture from outside into a mini cloud, pulled it inside and fed this into the whirlwind, making it now visible to Nyota and himself. "Ta-da! One very pretty, multi-elemental tower thing." The winds of the whirlwind were not that strong at all, and since there wasn't exactly any papers lying around, he had made sure it wouldn't destroy the room or anything

"Whoa hey!" burlted Nyota as the winds below gently nudged her aside. She observed the spectacal of Sky flaunting his towers to her. He seemed to have quite to have a mastery of his abilities though that would be expected out of someone who claims to to be 10,000 year old or so spirit. The arty part of her brain wanted to critique the... whatever it was they just created. It reminded her... of sculpture but instead of clay it was fire and wind. Looked pretty cool actually.

"Hurmmm... you know... thats sort of neat." complimented Nyota, still gawking at the display before recalling that Sky was still here standing near her. "Alright... well thats enough showing off I feel." stated Nyota, holding out her to the orb and clutching it close, the firey orb suddenly extinguishes into nothingness except for small dust particles that are quickly sweeped away from the winds.

"Anyway, see that bed in the corner? That can be your bed since no one has claimed it." offered Nyota as she pointed at the comfortable looking bed off in one corner of the room.

"Fair enough," Sky said with a grin, the whirlwind quickly dissipating. "It's. ah... Been a while since I did something like that. With your whole species dead, decorative things such as those aren't really used anymore. But apparently I can still do it," he shrugged, turning his attention to the bed she had pointed at. Walking over to it, he murmured to himself, "Hmm... Yeah, I think that'd work." The bed slid sideways slightly, until it was in the middle of that wall, and opposite to Nyota's. "Yup, I think that works all right," he commented, sitting himself down on the newly positioned bed.

An idea coming into his head, Sky asked "Nyota, have you ever flown before? Like, actually flown. Not been trapped in a metal box powered by poison."

Nyota cocks her head at Sky's statement. His whole entire species dead... wow... what can she say to that? Honestly... nothing. There are no words that she can say that would bring them back nor anything she can say that will comfort him. Whatever pain that facts brings he probably accepted a long time ago. But... she felt some sympathy. She can recall the memories of the old dead sun god that she consumed, its entire family felled by some mystical human archer. Grated old crow and their siblings had it coming, they were being assholes and nearly destroyed the earth but still... feel bad. She was lost in thought over the memories that were not her own until Sky had asked her about something.

"Hrrmmm? Flying? What? Oh umm... well I have these... memories of me flying... but not just in the sky but space itself as a... giant flaming bird..." recalled Nyota, reminiscing a bit before shaking her head "but... those are not MY memories so... no. I haven't actually flown. The only time I ever got to be in the sky was whenever my parents took me on an airplane."

"Right. So, how would you feel about me taking you for a real fly? Honestly, you haven't lived until you know how it feels." Sky's head tilted slightly as he asked the question, curious as to how the person felt about taking a look from his point of view. He did understand that some humans had a fear of heights, although that concept was completely alien to him, and it would probably best if he knew her opinion. Weird. She looked almost... Upset? But what about? Eh, I'll ask later

Nyota considers Sky's offer for a moment, being able to fly, even it its only just for a moment, sounded appealing to her. She never had any big aspirations about flying in the air but those memories of being in the air made her... nogstalgic in a strange sense.

"You know... what the hell. Sure why not. Just so long as you don't drop me now." smirked Nyota, walking back into the bathroom to toss the toothbrush that she was still carrying between her armpit back into the sink. While still in the bathroom, she grabs a hair-tie laying on the counter and walks back into the main room. As she looks to Sky, she grabs the back of her hair with her right hand and ball it up into a messy bun, shimmering the hair tie around her fingers until it slips off and holds her bun of hair tightly.

"Alright so... how will this flying thing work? Will you like... have to hold my hand or something?" asked Nyota as she touches up her hair real quick with her fingers.

"I mean, if you want me to, then sure," Sky said with a laugh. "But it's not all that necessary, I can still keep you up anyways. It just reassures people a bit, because odds are I'll just go back to how I normally am, and it just leaves them floating in nothingness, with what looks like nothing keeping them up. It's enough to put most humans on edge. Also it means that there's slightly less strain on me, because I technically only have to keep one area, instead of two, flying. So?" Sky reached out his hand, pretty much summing up the question in a simple movement

"Ahh... okey. Well if its not necessary then yeah I don't need any hand holding. I just didn't know how it worked was all" stated Nyota as she retracted her hand back and walked to the sliding glass door that lead to a small balconay.

As she was walking over, she pondered how strange it was for her to trust him with keeping her afloat and yet was squeamish to the idea of holding Sky's hand. If she was thinking logically like Spock it was strange of her to put so much trust in allowing her to fly yet not trusting him enough to hold his hand. Her only real explanation was that hand holding to here was... strangely too personal for her, especially for someone she just met.

She shakes these thoughts out of her head, it hurt to think too deeply about these things sometimes. Now that she was standing outside on the balcony, she looked to Sky and motioned him to come over.

"Little cramped but... you can make me fly out here right? Also... any sort of time limit I should be aware of? I know you said it shouldn't strain you too much but.... well... I hope you understand that I dont wish to be a pancake." spoke up Nyota looked down as she looked down. They were only 2 stories up so technically she should survive such a fall from this height. Yet... she would rather not be sent to the nurses office for something stupid... again.
