"No timer. I used to live up there, so I don't think I'll drop out of the sky anytime soon. And I'll make sure that you don't pancake, don't worry." Sky walked outside to the balcony, and gave pretty much no warning before suddenly a small platform of wind, moving fast enough to feel almost solid, formed underneath Nyota, lifting her around half a metres into the air. Rising to the same height as her, Sky tilted his head, and shot upwards, with her right next to him. In around half a minute, they'd broken through the clouds above them, and emerged into an almost different place altogether.
Clouds covered the space below them, going about as far as the human eye could see, with small spaces where the blue of the ocean was barely visible. That wasn't to say that it was completely peaceful, the wind was quite the opposite. Sky's hair was pressed back against his head, although he was used to this, but it was probably quite different for Nyota. The Air Spirits had also formed a small bubble around her, allowing the air pressure to equalise and stop her suffocating. However, it really didn't do much to stop the wind putting its full force on then.
"So? What do you think?" Sky enquired, spreading his arms. As he turned to look at her, the sudden realisation came to him that this was the first human that he'd shown something like this in about a thousand years, or really the first that he'd spoken openly to. Human communication was something he tried to avoid whenever possible, for numerous reasons
