A Mad Tea Party Indeed

Tristan spread his wings and kicked the rabbit off of him. He flew a few yards away and started running as fast as he could, not waiting for Brielle. There was no point in waiting — he would rather she die than himself.

But he would probably wait up after a few more minutes of running... just so Damien didn't kill him.

The cat hissed. "He's getting away!"

The hatter simply laughed.

Tristan looked at her and nearly fell backward. "Ok, you need to stop doing that," he said, taking a few deep breaths. "And I'm fine. Are you?" He sighed, looking back. "We need to get out of here."

The young man grabbed Brielle's hand and started running again.

Tristan had seen her red face, but this was too desperate of a situation to make a rude comment. He thought he could hear yelling behind them, and picked up the pace, ready to pick her up and fly away if he had to. "Why are you up so late, anyway?" he questioned.

He nodded somewhat, not really caring about her answer. Tristan looked aback again, and noticing that Brielle seemed out of breath, there was only one thing they could do. The eighteen-year-old spread his wings again and scooped Brielle into his arms, pushed off the ground and with a few powerful strokes of his wings, was airborne.

Tristan started flying back toward the school, glancing down at the girl he was holding in his arms every now and then to make sure that she was alright.

Tristan smirked. "Yeah, I do," he said. "But you kind of saved my life... there's another reason, but Damien would get mad if I said it first." Damien's feelings were slowly rubbing off on his other side, it seemed.
