The man looked cowed, and perhaps even a little scared. Angelo couldn't blame him - he'd just shot someone who was essentially functioning as a cop, and things could go very poorly for him, even if Thresher didn't seem to actually be harmed.

"Yeah, they didn't really warn me. They said you were a good tracker, but probably didn't think that you'd be getting shot over the course of this little trip." It had mostly been an accident. Mostly. He'd intended to shoot an animal, not a person. "Back out of the park then? I'm guessing I get to haul him back to the station and then you decide if you want to press charges." People on Manta Carlos had more discretion. Getting shot simply wasn't a big deal for some people, even if the guy was going to get slammed for the poaching and a bunch of gun safety violations.

Thresher nodded a little, discarding the bullet off to the side. "Yeah, sure. Glad to have help this time, I might have had to chase this guy down."

The wolf would lead them out of the forest again, though it was considerably easier getting out. Just find a path and head in a direction until the trees thinned out. He'd leave the poacher to Angelo, since he seemed to have a good handle on him.
