Vinanye did so love the park! He had pockets full of gems and a heart of joy as he climbed high on trees and tried to jump from one to the other. Some of the trees here were quite thick, though Vinnie knew thicker from his home. His pockets made a satisfying rattle with every move he made.

Vin, while loving to look at everything around him, was not a particularly observant person. It wasn't uncommon for him to trip, bump into people, or -- as was the case this time -- fall atop people. He'd thrown himself at a tree, but misjudged the distance and tumbled to the ground. When he thought he would hit grass and dirty, it was a lap Vin fell on. He hoped they were not hurt!

"Oh dear me! I apologize! I did not meant to land on you like that. Be afraid not, I was jumping from trees." It was evident by his stinted way of speech that Vinanye was new to this language. Contractions were a mystery to him and idioms, well you could forget about them because Vin would almost never catch them.

The Gem pushed himself up and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. Despite this, Vin didn't come off overly embarrassed about his blunder. To the Fae, mistakes were a minor part of life, and while most of the people from Precious Stone would have been in an absolute fit over their bruised pride, Vin just didn't have that in him.

He recalled there being some saying about a thousand failures leading to success. He only remembered it because it always gave him a funny clip art imagine in his head of a man climbing a mountain of red failures to grab a green success hanging from the ceiling.

"Oh! I apologize! My name is Vinanye Reed, and I do not always fall on people, but when I do... well I am polite about it?" Some of his gemstones had spilled out over the grass, and once he realized them, Vinnie took to scooping them up and shoving them back into his pockets unceremonially.

Though Jeriya spent many hours in nature, today was a day that he did not remember that well. After his classes had been finished, he went to his dorm and then came back outside, to which he was now sound asleep? It wasn't uncommon, but usually he watched people for a while before he snoozed off. His dream was utterly amazing though. It was about him climbing up a steep mountain, to rescue a very cute looking boy. Of course, Jeri being the hopeless romantic that he was, had to save him. He climbed and climbed and climbed, and just as they were about to embrace one around he woke up... To the same boy on his lap.

The still dazy boy only stared at the utterly perfect boy in front of him. Though he had obviously fallen from the fact of his legs hurting as well as his words; he was not mad at all. Jeriya's eyes widened as his eyes focused on every feature. White hair, lightly sun-kissed skin, his body just lightly worked out, dazzling blue eyes; oh god was he perfect. Before he could even utter a word, his cheeks were bright red. "I-It's okay..." His voice trailed off as he just stared. No, he wasn't trying to be rude; but who wouldn't stare when your dream by came into your arms?

His voice cleared after the man's name registered for him. "Vinanye Reed." Jeriya repeated back to himself. "Nice to meet you then Vinanye I am Iago Jeriya, though it seems that it goes in the order of Jeriya Iago here." He had no trouble with his name, but anything else would be a challenge. Was he still in the dream? To make sure, he touched a piece of his hair, before realizing that it was very rude and moving his hand back to his side.

Vinnie got to his knees and pushed a strand of hair from his face. "Why would your name be changing like that?" Vinnie couldn't understand. How very confusing! He had yet to hear people work this way and... well why? "So I would be Reed Vinanye? Oh my, that is very confusing!"

Vin scooted so his back was to the tree and he sat beside Jeri. "Are you enjoying the day? It is very sunny and bright! I like the sun and Summer! When bugs and things come out. I saw a bee earlier, and it was so nice. They sure do like to come at the face, do they not? I thought it was charging me! But it just wanted a flower."

Vinnie sighed and closed his eyes, reflexively shoving a hand in his pocket to feel the cool surfaces of the gems there. He dug a few out and showed them to Jeri. "They are pretty? Do you want one? I pick them for people, but sometimes I do not know someone well enough to choose. I like to give gems away; they make people happy!"

Vinanye held out his hand, intending to give Jeriya all of the gems there. Rubies, diamonds, and emeralds. "Which do you like best and why? They all have meanings, did you know? Oh, I do love gems! Yes, I do! And flowers and bugs and kitties. Everything is so cute. Very cute, yes!"

This boy was so very cute, and Jeriya couldn't get enough of it. "It's like that where I came from. Japan." He nodded to clarify the point to the flawless man. He was going to make sure not to keep him off his sights. "It is rude to call someone by there first name there if you don't know them." His explanation was dry and a bit useless, but it was enough for the other man to hopefully understand.

The more he talked, the more Jeriya just wanted to lean in and kiss him. Was that weird that he wanted to kiss someone he had only met a few seconds ago? There was just something about him, besides the fact that he was literally straight out of his dreams. As he told his story of the bee encounter, Jeriya could only laugh happily. This little thing was melting his heart already. "Hopefully you didn't get stung." He added on before he commented on how he liked the weather. "Yeah, I feel as if it really allows me to think and just chill out, compared to the rest of my life being all over the place." The opal eyed man showed the azure eyed boy a smile.

Though, when the gems popped into his view, he didn't know what to think at all. "Oh wow, these are amazing!" He was mesmerized by all the colors he saw. How was he supposed to choose one? "I like the ruby." He picked out up and twirled it gently in between his fingers. "It's like a heart, a heart of life and determination, but at the same time it is beautiful and glowing with power." It was the cheesiest reasoning, but it felt right for him to say. The dream boy was being so nice to him. Jeriya leaned in, touching shoulders with the boy as he observed the others. "This does make me happy, thank you."

"Japan?" Vinnie's mouth formed a little 'o' as he stared at Jeri. "O-Oh! What counts as knowing someone? Should I call you by your surname? I would not wish to be impolite!" Vinnie laughed when Jeri did, holding his stomach for emphasis. "Of course, it did not sting me! I did not do anything to be stung about.

"What makes your life... all over the place?" Vinnie blinked slowly, not understanding. He was taking the saying literally, which gave some funny, but confusing imagery. "How can a life be all over the place? I am afraid I do not understand!"

Vinnie hadn't expected Jeri would take only one of the stones, so he cupped his free hand under the other boys so he could dump all of the gems in Jeriya's hand. "You may have them all!" It was around that time that Vinanye realized the color of Jeri's eyes. Vin didn't notice when Jeri leaned in, but the Gem Fae leaned in himself and cupped Jeriya's face to get a better look at his eyes.

"Oh, oh! Those look like gems! Opals. Oh, I do love opals. They are like the blue opals. Do you know what that means? They help with love and are the stone of the Fae to see Underhill! It is very magic and beautiful! Tell me, has your life had these things? It is the stone of communication! Oh, that is so romantic! What made your eyes this way?"

"No no, don't worry about that! I have to get used to people calling me by my first name." It felt as if he was betraying how he had grown up, but this new lifestyle was something that he needed. "Plus Jeriya sounds a lot better than Iago." He clarified with a short head nod. It was very cute to hear that he had not been stung too. This poor little kid was so amazingly cute. "And all over the place meaning well... Hectic and crazy?" The opal eyed boy really wasn't sure how else to phrase that. "My recent life has been a bit of a downer I guess you could say." Even with this statement, there was no frown on his face.

As their hands touched, he only smiled warmly. This boy was literally already everything he had ever wanted out someone. There was something about this that really just made him smiley. "O-Oh thank you." He held them all closely, not wanting to damage any of them. Though that seemed to change when he felt the boy's hands on his cheeks. The gems that were in his hands were set to the other side as he faced his body towards the boy and stared into his eyes too. They were beautiful, like an endless sea. After he took in all the information about the history of his eyes, Jeriya cupped the boys' face and leaned in so that they were almost touching noses. "Thank you for all the information, I had not idea. I don't know why they are like this. I love them though." He squinted into his and hmmed to himself. "Why are yours so beautiful?"

Vinanye didn't understand why Jeriya had leaned in closer; he figured it was just something further about the other boys culture. "It is because I am a Fae! Well, sort of! I am a black opal gem made through the magic of Underhill; that is the magic of the Fae realm! So my eyes are always like this, but I do not think you see me as I am. It was a gift that I got from Underhill!

"Tell me, what is this Japan like? Where is it? I know nothing of the human world and only just know the common tongue here. Erm, I cannot recall what it is you people call it. I know the Fae tongue, very well! Yes, yes, yes I do!"

With that, Vinanye switched to the language of the Fae. It was a tongue of soft sounds and short phrases. Difficult in its simplicity, many would say. "[This is the tongue of the Fae. It is quite beautiful, is it not?]" Vinnie giggled and tried to turn away from Jeriya as something caught his attention.

A butterfly, as it turned out. Vin stared a moment longer before meeting Jeri's eyes again. "This place is hard for me too.... erm.... to understand. It takes a lot, and I find I get tired from it very quickly." He fanned himself and breathed out to show his exhaustion.

"A Fae?" It wasn't like he was asking again, but the boy seemed like something very different. Though, once he started to explain it, his thoughts went out the window. Jeriya nodded anyways, though what he was saying sounded like gibberish in his ears. Maybe soon he would be able to understand all of what he had but heard. One day. "That is really awesome." It made him a bit jealous that his dream boy was such a cool species, while he was stuck being just a human.

"Japan is... Busy." He gave a nervous laugh as she glanced to the side for a second. "I twas very dramatic and really focused on school work and all that. I didn't really like it, but then again I don't think anyone really did." He sniffled a bit. But once the cute boy started talking his own language, Jeriya was completely silent. It was gentle and calming to him, like a far away lullaby. "It's really pretty." He said after he could hear no more. If only he knew a cool language like that. "I can help you if you ever need help on your English." Though, he too looked at the butterfly and smiled gently at it. Pretty. Though, as he turned back, there was a different type of smile on his face. "There is a lot to take in, and I hope that you can experience it all. and OH here." He offered without hesitation as he blew air In Vinnie's face.

School work. Oh, Vinnie didn't know much about that. He had never had school in Underhill, but he had taken an interest in some college courses. He wondered how those would work? "What is school like? I have never been to a school! What makes Japan so very busy? Underhill was busy, I think! Mm." Vinanye tapped his chin, thoughtful.

"Oh! It is called English! Yes, I would like help with that very much, because there are words that I do not know what they mean, and it is...." Vin motioned toward his head, twirling his finger. "Um.. it is hard to know."

Vinnie sneezed as air was blown in his face. He rubbed at his cheeks and stared at Jeri, eyes wide and innocent, like a fawn. "Is that a Japan thing?" Without hesitation, Vinnie leaned forward and blew in Jeri's face.
