As the trees shuddered Live looked around in awe. She had known that her realm held demons that were less, well just less than other demons, but seeing how just the name of some could make the trees scared was amazing. Maybe she should have been scared but Live wasn't one to be afraid of demons, as strange as that sounded. It was always people that scared her more.

The name sent shivers down her spine but instead of inducing fear or insanity, it caused her form to change briefly from human to shadow, causing a rippling wave of darkness to wash over her. She chuckled as her form shifted and then moved forward to Feanon as they pulled out the two glasses. She chuckled again at the screaming creature on the other end, clearly displeased with this demons actions. Her new eyes had her quite high and very giggly.

She gave a smirk as she swayed from side to side, eyes glowing, "I will play just about any game for a bit of information. That's how I learned most things about my realm. After I learned how to summon a demon, I just started gambling with them for information. It's backfired before but thankfully being a Walker has protected me. But..." Their smirk began to fade, "I suppose, since you're not from my realm, I cannot believe that the same will be the case this time."

There was a second where it seemed Live was about to change her mind, but she quickly shook it off, her face returning to a pleasant but almost possessed expression.

"Well I suppose I have to get out of my comfort zone at some point!" The girl seemed to exude a feeling off being a very wise soul in an all too young and dumb body.

Live seemed smug, but at least she wasn't quite smug enough to be blind to possible failure. That was better than at least forty percent of the individuals where Freddy came from. He nodded in approval, pouring out two glasses of a cocktail composed of whiskey, coffee, and some sort of demonic fluid that gave it spice.

"I think it'd work, but see," Freddy began, punctuating his words with a drink from his own glass, "I'm not the kind of demon slash person who'd just leave themselves open like that. Being the big guy in a playground full of others who just want to be in charge for no fucking reason... I've got failsafes. Moment someone tries to bind me - unless I stop them, eleven others will show up, bust my ass out, lecture me for a bit, and we'd all go eat some sorta pizza."

Suddenly, Freddy seemed to remember something and then raised his head in alarm. He quickly pulled out a pocket from his pocket, and from that pocket pulled out a phone which he began to dial in earnest. "Hang on, hang on... I just remembered I forgot to pick up pizza. Oh, man, she's going to be fucking pissed."

A minute or so ensued of Freddy being lectured on the phone, followed by sheepish replies from him as he used his free hand to dig around in the air, going to unseen dimensions and all over the island for a pizza. A minute and a half in, and he finally managed to pull a pizza out, and seconds later the lecture was over, as the pizza was dropped into a hole in the ground, landing on a kitchen table miles away.

"Hey, I'm not going to judge," Freddy said, stowing the phone away and making no reference whatsoever to the conversation that just ensued. "I'm the kinda guy who stays in the comfort zone unless it gets way too boring and comfortable and I'm not sleepy so... go ahead, get out of there, have some fun, yadda yadda, you only live once unless you're one of those several thousand special snowflakes out there."

Live was a self absorbed asshole most of the time but she wasn't stupid. She could be rash, which in certain cases led to a bit of stupidity, but this wasn't one of those times. She was acting from knowledge and intuition, both of which had proved trustworthy before.

Although... she was also ridiculously high on demonic power for the moment.

She was quite amazed by this Feanon, and such a strong name. She felt that though he had told her to use the name if she wished it just somehow didn't feel right. So Live performed a kind of social grace she hadn't granted anyone else before, willingly.

"I do apologize..." Though the words sounded sincere something about the girls lips seemed strange saying them. Like it wasn't a sound they were use to making, "I must ask you to forgive me but I would like to know what you prefer to be called? I know you gave me your name before but I feel as though that's not what I am meant to call you."

She watched the pizza scene in awe. In order for her to open a portal that would allow a singular demon passage she had to be meditative, very focused, and use a specific spell that included using her physical shadow manifestations. This guy could argue on the phone and just will them into existence. It was a humbling moment when a demon could do that so willingly.

A thought hit Live and she sat a few feet from him but closer then she usually got to other people. Though this wasn't a person so it was a slightly different situation. She had gotten ridiculously close to Score. But that was kind of Score's thing, as to a lot of demons. It probably had something to do with intimidation maybe...

That wasn't the thought though and Live's eyes fixed on the cup in front of her.

"How about a game of Question for a Dare? On your turn you ask a question of the other person. It can be about anything. They then have a choice to either answer the question truthfully or instead take a dare. It's basically Truth or Dare but a bit different, since the point is to gain information first, but if the other party is unwillingly to share they must then subject themselves to a dare of the other persons choosing."

The girl gave a small smile that quickly disappeared as she grabbed her glass and inhaled the beautiful scent. "OH! And at the start of your turn you have to take a drink. If you refuse to answer the question or do the dare, then you have to finish your drink. Which based on the sent of these, I really don't want to have to do. This body has a tolerance unfortunately..."

Manners. They were something Freddy had grown well sick of, even if he still had to have them, at least at home. Back in that one hell, everyone had impeccable manners despite being rude to all hell whenever he wasn't looking (or so they thought - portals had multiple uses).

"Look. Call me whatever the fuck you like. I don't care. I've been called so much shit in my life that I stopped keeping track. My generals call me stuff, my enemies call me stuff, that guy calls me stuff, my wife and kid call me stuff. I've gone past caring. Legally, here, I'm just some guy named Frederick, and somewhere else, I'm Feanon, and you get the idea."

Freddy took a drink again, and mused a little bit. There were only a few things he was called that he cared enough about to take notice. Most of those were from his family, even if that family had only been around for a brief, illogical amount of time. "Now, if you ever meet my kid, you best make sure what you call her don't offend her, because you'll have me, and that demon hunter guy she has around. Yeah. Hitched to a demon hunter. You fucking believe it? Thought she was joking out of spite at first."

With a wry grin Freddy moved the other glass closer while refilling his own. There wasn't much for him else to do, so he simply pulled out a larger container the size of a tree stump filled with cocktail. As he yanked it out with ease from the space linking the floor to elsewhere, a few more strings of demonic cursing ensued from below. "Heh. Fuck you guys, I'm the one who pays the most taxes!"

Turning to Live, he said, "I know what that is. Don't - you - I've been around forever! You don't have to explain that shit. Okay, go ahead, go on first - think I've said enough bullshit and I've already taken my drink."

Live was truly fascinated by Freddy or Feanon or whatever they hell he was or wanted to be called. His power was very intense and she could literally feels it aura pulsing around her but it didn't cause fear, like it probably should have. It just made her want to know more.

"Well then... How does one become a demon king? I would imagine everyone wants to be in your shoes."

Not that Live was one of those demons trying to gain power over the other demons. She already had her little realm, and while she wasn't really a ruler of it or anything, she had the influence she wanted for now. Besides, her entity was a great deal human which probably meant she couldn't ever really rule over other demons. She was just to physically based for that kind of spirit realm power. Rather unfortunate really.

"Prove yourself," Freddy said simply.

For a while, he sat in silence, waiting to see if she would ask for an elaboration. The demon world had some complex politics in place, but most of that was after he'd taken seat - before him, the world was nothing but a question of might. Then he turned it upside down; everyone knew that he was far from the strongest demon, but none contested his right to rule. Openly, at least. There were more power plays and contentions than he had tentacles playing in the background, none of which were any real threat.

After what he deemed an appropriate amount of silence, Freddy explained while calmly pouring himself out another glass of drink. "Being king means you have to fucking know what you're doing, which nobody fucking did ever before I came around. You have to prove that you can run things so well that people can't question jack shit. I'm not the strongest around my hell - that probably goes to Prak the God-damned, who's really called God-damned or Immortal Kruk - power only, they'd kill me eleven times outta ten. But they don't. Know why? Cause I fucking know how to properly rule. Legislation doesn't win you wars, but gets shit done. I've given the idiots back home things to live for that aren't murder, and protection, and all that crap. Anyone try to take the throne - I'm okay with that, less work for me, but you know what? I've let a few uprisings succeed for the heck of it, and nobody liked it. See, anyone with power can take a crown. It takes someone with a goddamned brain to keep it."

Freddy capped off his speech with a loud clap that that reverberated through the woods, and for the briefest moment opened up a window behind him that peered into the other world, that Live could see what he had created. It was a great view, thousands of miles in the sky looking down on a world that seemed much like Earth but with more fire. Civilization was evident - with telltale signs of construction and infrastructure visible even from this far up.

"It was a sea of fire before me, and now it's a goddamned paradise in a volcano."

Though he didn't often do it, Freddy still bragged about his achievements. After all, very few would ever ask with such enthusiasm.

Freddy drank again and surveyed Live with a sharp look. "Okay, so... question, question. I don't think I asked, but just why the fuck are you so obsessed with demons? People that do that tend to be greedy little bastards as far as I know, and I've been around forever, so I know. What was it? Parents die? Someone you want revenge on? Ambition?"

Live's eyes narrowed a bit at the demon's response. She was trying to figure out what he meant by "prove yourself", when he began to elaborate. His answer was, well, not what she expected. She had expected to hear him say that he was the strongest or the scariest or the evilest or something like that. Not that he was the best with policies or turning hell into a god-damn, fiery wonderland. It made her think of the Shadow Realm she was connected too. It was a fairly unruly place with no one really taking charge of anything. Just a bunch of demons running around in the dark and occasionally bumping into the physical world, whether on purpose or on accident.

"...I believe you've accomplished what every politician could only dream of." She said with a small chuckle as she took a solid swig of her drink.

She wasn't terribly surprised by his question though all of his assumptions were about as far from the mark as they could get. She shook her head, took another small sip and set down her drink.

"I'm a Walker. Human body, partially human soul--just so my body can keep kicking--but more demon than anything. However, I cannot exist as I am outside of this body..." Live's mind flashed briefly to the research she had done since her arrival at Starlight. She had found an ancient document describing conditions of being a Walker. One was a permanent tie to the physical world so that the Walker's couldn't get pulled away from this world by any spirits, leaving their tribes defenseless. It was suppose to be a good thing but for Live, it was a curse.

"If I could, I would have taken off to live in an entirely different realm. Demons are the only creatures I actually feel connected to. Especially shadow demons. Their way of life makes more sense to me but I physical cannot have it. It's like being trapped in a glass box. So, I do all I can to learn about their world and the things I cannot have. The more I learn..the more I am able to interact with their world..the more I feel connected."

She grabbed her drink and took another swig, her tongue getting looser as the potent alcohol began to interact with her system. "Not so alone with all these pointless, blundering idiots. Humans...." She paused, her eyes narrowed, the black in them seeming to grow darker, "Humans are horrible creatures."

She was quite for a moment, her body seemed to glow with darkness for a moment. Her eyes snapped back to Freddy, her expression softened and her body started to look more human again, "Have any tips for safer demon summoning?" Their was some sarcasm in her voice because she half expected him to tell her to bug off on this one but she could always use some extra advice. Especially from such a powerful creature.
