If you asked Geo if she was having a bad day she would probably punch you in the mouth, or at least hit you with her now severed arm. Though most people would not be foolish enough to ask such a stupid question of the slightly charred looking cybernetic organism that was currently carrying one of her own arms around and asking for a mechanic.
Geo had been working on a few tasks at once and rather foolishly had not bothered to wear her suit while doing it, feeling like wearing normal human coveralls would be sufficient for the task at hand. This was proven false when maybe twenty minutes into her task there had been an accident which had caused a small explosion that had severed her left arm from the elbow down. She had cursed herself for her foolishness. Splitting her attention in so many directions had been part of the issue and when other things had started to happen around her it caused a sensory overload and she had made a few mistakes that she was not able to catch in time for her normally fast reflexes to react to, and thus lead to her current condition.
Luckily enough there had been no property damage but Geo looked rather worse for wear. First off she had to find new clothing as she could not wear her suit now with a missing arm, and secondly bits of her endoskeleton were now showing through the charred flesh on her good arm and face. The severed arm seemed to be stripped of most of its' organic covering, but that could be dealt with after she had it re-attached.
Most of the shops she had visited though had said that the work was too far beyond their own limitations, but everyone she talked to had pointed her in the direction of a small alien child named Maeko who was supposed to be some sort of technical prodigy. Unfortunately though seeing as he was still a child this meant he probably did not have a shop so to speak so she asked about as to where it was she could find him. This of course had lead to her trip into the woods as it was a place he apparently liked to frequent a lot to play with his technological toys.
After a few moments trek deeper into the woods she came upon a clearing where she indeed found the boy, apparently in some sort of giant mechanized suit, firing off what appeared to be dummy rounds into a few rather large targets. Just what exactly was going on here? How was it even legal for a child of his age to posses such weapons? Her hand clenched the severed arm tightly as she fought the old cop instincts to start yelling and questioning the boy. She really wanted to ask what exactly he was doing with that sort of weaponry and let him know how much trouble he was going to be in. Instead she simply stepped forward and cleared her throat before speaking.
“Excuse me, I require your assistance in a small matter of some repairs.”
