Emily could only stand in silence and try not to draw attention while Ildefons goaded the men. Her eyes darted between them, trying to observe any inconsistencies that might be useful. There was a moment of hesitation at the signal, a heartbeat where she couldn't decide if she should instead try to help Ildelfons. Then she was running, as quickly as her poor tired legs would carry her.
Once they'd made it into the safety of the alley, Emily leaned hard against the wall trying to catch her breath. She wasn't out of shape or anything, but all this was a lot. "Y... Y-Yeah... O-Okey..." Despite everything, she forced herself to start walking again. It wasn't long before she noticed Ildelfons "O-Oh no... Are y-you okey...? Hold o-on... I-I think I have a-a... A handkerchief here... S-Somewhere..."
She started riffling through her pockets, pulling out things like receipts and a wallet before finally finding her handkerchief. She held it up and turned her eyes on Ildelfons, taking a step closer to start cleaning him up a little.
