A genuine smile donned upon Kueria’s lips as her cheeks tinted ever so slghtly in rosy shades. Though she knew no words could do her sentiments justice, she mumbled a quick thanks to the kind man.
You can get the smaller sticks, the dried kindling
Instantly jumping to her feet, she gave an entusiastic nod before clinging a little tighter to his coat as she ran off to gather leaves and small twigs.
Conuring small gusts of wind, no stronger than a gentle spring zephyr, the girl watched in glee as fallen leaves danced to the rhythm of her magic. Yet agin, deja vu struck as she indulged in the sensation of being a pupeteer controlling her little marionettes. Brows furrowing in confusion, the winds slowly died down as her mind begun to clog with foreign memories, almost as though she was watching a familliar film on repeat. For a few beats, silence settled as she stood stiller than a frozen stream. Remainig rooted to the ground, Kueria let out a barely audiable whisper.
“I was.... a leader...?”
Not too long later, she snapped out of her daze. By then, the twigs and dry leaves had settled in a neat pile by the mat. Gathering the items, she scooted over to where Eein was and carefully observed as he built the wooden structure. Once the fire had been started, she let out an excited exclaimation before stating “Wow, Eein’s abilities are so cool! Kueria is super amazed at how talented he is! Is Eein going to teach Kueria how to cook now?”
