Sai knew very well what he had to do. He hadn't talked to any family members in quite a while. He hadn't even sent a message to his parents yet. Well, now he had a big reason to. They would all be interested to know that he was now a father. He wondered just how he was going to handle the chaos that would ensue. More than likely everyone would be interested in seeing this little girl of his. They would also be interested in his relationship status. Good God, Mom was going to flip.

First things first though, he was visiting his sister Rhapsody in the city. She had a coffee shop located there, so he figured that he would be able to catch her shortly after closing. He made sure Fae was safe and sound with someone to watch over her as he was out. He felt a bit bad about leaving her behind, but it was best that he eased the news in rather than start up a meeting right away. After all, he couldn't even remember the last time he talked to Rhapsody. They were chill with each other as far as he knew; she was just off exploring various places while he remained on Manta Carlos.

The siren spotted the small shop. He quicken his pace a bit as he moved for the door of the place.

Sai walked into the cafe. He was able to open the door despite the closed sign. That meant she was still in here. The bell chimed as a signal to his sister, but she seemed to be busy over at the till. She hadn't looked up when she tol--wait a minute, did she really just rap that?! In response to that, Sai smacked his face with his palm. God that was terrible. Damn it Rhapsody. For kicks, he decided to alert her to his presence further by playing around with the bell on the door. He swung the door open and close. While the bell rang, he altered the sound with his magic to made a cool rhythmic melody for Rhapsody to pick up. Surely she would realize who it was then.

His sister reacted immediately to the melody. He hugged her as she ran over to him. It was great seeing her again. She was always pretty cool even though her raps sucked. She would sway from one interest to the next as far as he remembered. Now she was running her own business and doing well for herself. He was surprised at himself for not meeting up with Coda--Err, Cody first, but he wouldn't be difficult to find. Rhapsody noted it had been a long time since they spoke, and Sai nodded in agreement. A grin appeared on his face as he separated from her to sign.

"I have good news."

Sai was too busy grinning to take much note in Rhapsody's rapping. It was her verbal tic anyway. That's how he could tell the difference between her and the other sisters. He was having too much fun teasing her with the news. He finally decided it was about time to share with her about the increase in family members.

"I have a daughter. Her name is Faeyt."

He had to use the hand signs for each letter to spell out Fae's name. It was an odd name, but he liked it. It made his daughter unique. Now if only she wasn't part-banshee....good God her screams hurt. Even so, he loved her with all his heart and hoped that she wasn't getting in trouble right now.

Rhapsody's squeal of joy made him silently chuckle. She was certainly happy about being an aunt. Immediately she rapped questions in his direction about when she could meet the little girl.

"You good on weekends?"

Weekends were when he could actually stay in and do other stuff off campus. It was also days he didn't have to bring Faeyt in for daycare. He wasn't sure of his sister's schedule anymore, so he had to ask. In the back of his mind, he thought about how the rest of the family would react.
