Mathers hadn't been on the island long but so far he knew two things; one was that he wasn't the only one here with powers and the other was that his coworkers loved messing with him. Recently they'd tried convincing him that faeries, FAERIES of all things lived among them. Yeah, they'd have to try at least a little harder than scattering a bit of glitter over his desk to convince him of that. Still, weird things were afoot on the island and as he pressed he hand against the cool brick of the building and stepped through he imagined what he was going to find on the other side.
He'd attuned the building to him a few months ago on a whim and for the most part things had remained steady, at least until a few scant nights ago when he felt SOMETHING change. It was difficult to describe what exactly the sensation was but it felt almost like something was contesting his claim over the area and as he pushed through one building and stepped out of the other he opened his eyes and stared in disbelief at what appeared to be a damn circus suddenly standing where once there was an unused building.
"And what the hell is all this?" he murmured quietly.
