33 | October 31st | Female | Lesbian | Werewolf | Teacher | High school and College level | Teaches Self Defense, Yoga, and Kickboxing
Appearance Description:
Storm is of average height standing at 5’ 5”, but is extremely muscular with rock hard abs, powerful legs, and impressive biceps. Her chest is fairly flat as a result of her fit physique but she has curvy hips that lead down to her massive, ‘could-probably-crush-your-skull’ thighs. Her facial features are strong—especially her prominent cheek bones and the sharp curve of her eyes. She typically has a bit of a tan to her skin from spending a lot of time exercising outdoors. Her eyes are bright blue and she has short, scruffy white hair which also reflects the color of her fur when in her wolf/werewolf forms.Because of her muscular physique in her human form, Storm is larger than the average when in her wolf form, and huge and intimidating when in her werewolf form.
Storm generally wears sportswear, and leans toward masculine clothing when she has to wear anything more formal. She wears her wedding ring and the ring of her deceased wife on a gold chain around her neck.
While Storm used to remain in a strictly human form out of habit, she started showing her wolf tail, ears, and furred arms/claws after living on Manta Carlos for a while.
Storm now has a large scar across her left eye from an injury in the Haunted Corn Maze.
Storm may seem intimidating at first with her physique and a natural scowl to her face that results from her sharp facial features. When one gets to know her, however, Storm is actually rather friendly and playful. She’s a Mama Bear (Mama Wolf?) type of lady who is fiercely protective and loyal to those she cares for—especially when it comes to younger kids and teenagers.Storm is an absolute health nut; whether it be exercise, nutrition, or mental health. Storm wakes up at 4:30 every morning so that she had plenty of time to go for a run, lift weights, eat a healthy breakfast, do yoga, and meditate before she goes to work. Then she does even more exercise and meditation after work. Storm aspires to be someone that others can look up to and loves to help others –which really made her a natural for teaching, even though she was initially unsure about becoming a teacher. Now she loves it, and is passionate about helping her students better themselves.
Storm is also a massive busy body who prefers to constantly keep herself as productive as she can. Storm is very good at hiding signs of fatigue, up until she burns herself out so bad she can barely function.
Of course, Storm has her insecurities as anyone would—but she is inclined to keep up a barrier and not show “weakness” to anyone. In general, Storm is a simply a private individual who does not like to share much about herself. In fact, she would much prefer to keep others talking while remaining a listener and occasional advice-giver.
ACTIVE ABILITIES
Werewolf
Storm has the capacity to change her form between a human, a regular wolf, and a werewolf. She can allow certain wolf characteristics to show in her human form: such as ears, tail, and fangs.Because she is rather muscular in her human form, her strength transfers over to her wolf form by making her larger than the average female wolf. She is also much larger as a werewolf, standing nearly seven feet tall. She is certainly strong, but far from indestructible—maybe a bit more resilient than a human, but weapons or stronger creatures could certainly take her down.
Berserker
A rare ability among her clan, Storm has the capacity to tap into her werewolf form without relying on a full moon. To do so, however, requires a situation of extreme stress, severe emotional distress, and desperation. When Storm shifts into her werewolf form during a full moon, she is completely in control of herself; but when she shifts outside of a full moon, she goes into a complete berserk mode. She becomes a beast of pure violence with no regard for anyone around her. It doesn’t matter if she is among friends, enemies, strangers, or loved ones—she is completely blinded by primal fury and a desire to kill and devour any living thing nearby.
Needless to say, Storm avoids tapping into this state at all costs.
PASSIVE ABILITIES
Heightened senses
Like a wolf, Storm has stronger senses than a human. Loud noises and strong scents can make her irritable.Speed
Storm can run faster than the average human in her wolf and werewolf forms. This trait does not transfer over to her human form—although she’s pretty fast on her own considering her obsession with fitness.Species Connection
Storm can communicate long distance to other werewolves with howling, just as wolves do. She also can communicate to a degree with wolves and dogs; she can’t give you an exact translation of their thoughts, but can give a general idea of their emotional state that may not be obvious to anyone else.RESOURCES
Storm had a decent amount of savings before she came to the island, which she used to buy a cottage in the woods. She makes a decent wage at the school.
-Storm was born into a cult-like werewolf clan in the Appalachian mountains. Every clan member was given a role, and Storm was assigned to be a Breeder.
-The Alpha of the clan was highly abusive toward Storm. She was forced to have one child, then snapped and killed the Alpha before running away--leaving that baby behind.
-Storm ran away and wound up in a small town. Once she ended up among humans, the clan chose to not pursue her. Clarisse found her and took care of her, and then later became her wife.
-Storm lived as a human for 16 years. When Adelyn appeared from the forest, she knew right away that this was the baby she had abandoned all those years ago. She encouraged Adelyn to go to Manta Carlos.
-Storm initially had no intentions of going to Manta Carlos herself, until Clarisse died of cancer only a few months after her encounter with Adelyn. After that, she decided to start her life over with Adelyn on the island. They have both been on the island for about 3 years now.
-Storm has still not told Adelyn that she is her mother.
Full Biography
Storm was born into the Moonlight Clan in the Appalachian mountains of America, where she spent her childhood—if one could even say that Storm has a childhood. The Moonlight Clan had always been a bit…different from other werewolf clans. A fair comparison to make would be to look at human religions: most religious folks engage in their faith in a healthy manner. But then, occasionally, you may see the more cult-ish types who are fanatical and frankly rather scary. The Moonlight Clan is quite like that, except of werewolf clans. The Moonlight Clan maintains strict rules, and if you do not follow them, then you are no longer welcome to remain. As a result, many stayed within the clan even if treated poorly because, well, they knew nothing else.
And there were definitely some within the clan who were treated poorly, especially when Storm was within the clan. The Alpha, whose name Storm never even knew, maintained a very strict hierarchy system—and heavily took advantage of it. Among the lower ranks were the breeders: females who the Alpha would take upon himself to impregnate in order to populate the clan. In other words: they were basically his own personal sex slaves.
It was decided for Storm that she would be a breeder whether she liked it or not. Once Storm was capable of bearing children, the Alpha wasted no time in taking advantage. Her first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage, while the second resulted in a baby girl—which was taken away from her right after the birth. Storm was given no opportunity to bond with her child, and to be perfectly honest, she had to no desire to. The child had been something forced upon her and that had damaged her body. Storm felt no love or maternal instincts.
Physically damaged by a pregnancy her young body could barely handle and mentally damaged by a clan that treated her, Storm’s mental state was seriously deteriorating. Storm was given some time to recuperate from her difficult pregnancy, but it wasn’t too long after that the Alpha was ready to take advantage of her once more. That was when something unusual happened to Storm…
Storm is a rare breed among werewolves in her clan. She learned that night that she could shift into her werewolf form even if it was not a full moon, but it came at a price. The shift was only possible in a moment of extreme stress and emotional turmoil—and considering the way she was treated by the clan, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Unfortunately for the Alpha, Storm finally snapped while they were alone together, and even more unfortunately was that shifting during a time when a full moon was not present threw Storm into a complete berserk mode.
Unable to shift into his own werewolf form, the Alpha was no match for the violent, rampaging monster that Storm had become. She absolutely destroyed him. When Storm woke from her berserk frenzy, she found the Alpha completely torn up beyond recognition. She had half his heart in her hands, and the other half in her mouth. She had not only ripped him to shreds, but ate him.
Horrified with what she had done, Storm obviously had no real choice but to run away. Where would she go? How could she escape this? Storm didn’t even have time to figure things out before she collapsed in the woods. By some miracle, Storm was not found by her clan and killed as she would have expected. She had managed to run far enough to reach near a human town, and a young woman by the name of Clarisse found her—a small teenager naked and covered in blood. That was how Storm met the woman she would eventually marry. Yes, really.
With the help of Clarisse and her family, Storm was nurtured back to health. To make a long story short, Storm adjusted to life in human society and remained in the town. She had heard the cries of her clan—and to her surprise, it was decided that they would not seek her out. They would not cross into human territory to go after her, but she was to never return to their territory. That was fine as far as Storm was concerned. She did not wish to return to the forest or the clan. They had kept her child, but...the child never felt like hers anyway.
Years passed and as they matured, Storm and Clarisse dated, fell in love, and started living together. Marriage between two women was not legal at the time, but as far as the two women were concerned, they were absolutely wife and wife. But Storm would not have her happy ending with Clarisse; only a few years later, Clarisse was diagnosed with cancer.
Storm dedicated herself to taking care to Clarisse. When she did have some time, Storm had a particular focus on strengthening her body and learning self-defense. Even if her clan did not intend to seek her out, Storm was still determined to become strong. She would never allow someone to take advantage of her as her clan had. She also focused on her mental health to distance herself from the horrific berserk mode. If she needed to protect herself, she did not want to do it in that way ever again.
It was 15 years later from Storm’s escape, while she was still taking care of Clarisse as her health deteriorated, that Storm met her daughter once more.
As soon as she met Adelyn, from first sight and scent, she knew the little bouncy werewolf was the daughter she had left behind. Fifteen years later, that child she barely acknowledged after birth was…a person. She couldn’t believe this sweet girl had come from that nightmare of a clan. Storm had never anticipated seeing Adelyn again—and yet, there she was, having left the clan of her own accord. Storm learned from Adelyn that the next Alpha of the clan was, perhaps, not quite as horrendous as the previous one had been. Still strict and maintaining the traditions of the clan, but not actively abusing his fellow werewolves. It was a relief to know that Adelyn had simply left the clan because she wanted to explore the world, and not under abusive circumstances like Storm.
The encounter left Storm with a lot of mixed emotions. She wanted to help Adelyn. She didn’t want Adelyn to know that she had given birth to her. She felt a connection to Adelyn now. She did not want Adelyn to know she had abandoned her 15 years ago without a second thought.
Ultimately, Storm recommended that Adelyn attend Starlight Academy. Storm herself had previously been invited, but chose to remain in America. She could blend in with regular human society easily enough, and she wasn’t too worried about the Moonlight Clan. Plus, she wanted to stay with her wife. So, Storm assisted Adelyn in the basics of functioning in the world outside the forest and sent her on her way to Manta Carlos.
Sadly, Storm’s wife lost her battle to cancer not long after Adelyn’s departure. She was alone once more. Perhaps because she had sent Adelyn along, she had received yet another invitation to Starlight Academy. This time, she sent a confirmation back that she would be coming. It was time for a change of scenery, and perhaps deep down part of her wanted to be able to watch over the daughter she had once denied.
Storm got a teaching job at Starlight Academy as a Self Defense and Survivalist teacher—putting the skills she had learned to not just protect herself, but to teach students to protect themselves.
Storm still has not been honest to Adelyn concerning their relationship, and does not plan to. Seeing how happy and vibrant Adelyn was at Starlight Academy…well, Storm wanted her to stay that way.
