Under normal circumstances though, Isadora is a total extrovert. She is never afraid to approach others or to talk in front of a large crowd. Sometimes she comes off as picky and easily irritated.
She has spent most of her life lying to get her way, and still doesn’t see a problem in that. She has a ‘survival of the fittest’ attitude. She likes to have friends, but she ultimately always has her own back first.
Having been a scam artist since she was a kid, Isadora is a skilled actor. While she naturally has a classic New Yorker accent, Isadora has a talent for mimicking just about any other accent.

Biography: Isadora was born in New York City to a single mom. She was originally going to be put up for adoption, but after her birth, her mom decided to keep her.
Her mother was a sex worker, living in poverty. Frustrated that sex work wasn’t enough, her mom started devising scams to get more money--and she even involved her daughter in them, even when she was just a baby.
As she grew older, Isadora started to fancy her mom and herself as being like Robin Hood. And when Isadora’s psychic powers began to manifest, they saw it as an opportunity to make even more money.
Her mom touted Isadora as a psychic miracle child, and over time she even began to gain a following. But as the two started to become more wealthy, Isadora’s mom became more frivolous. Isadora also became frustrated about her mom taking all of the money she was earning as she grew older. Eventually, mother and daughter had a falling out when Isadora realized her mom was using most of the money that she earned for drugs. Isadora took what little she could and left her mom behind.
Isadora was not the easiest person to find, as she and her mom never really had a permanent address since they moved around so much--but eventually, a scout did make contact with her after hearing rumors of a young psychic who just seemed a little *too* accurate in her predictions. Isadora was quite flattered to receive the invitation to this ‘magical school’ and plus, it was a place she could live, rather than constantly travelling. So, she decided to go.
But Manta Carlos turned out to be a disappointment. As soon as she arrived, Isadora realized that she could no longer use any of her psychic abilities. What was the point of being on a magic island if she couldn’t even use her powers? Isadora was pissed and planned to return to Earth so she couldscam help people with her abilities.
Then November 2019 came. The Long Night just so happened to occur before Isadora could leave. Manta Carlos ended up separating itself into a separate dimension in order to protect itself from the Death of Magic happening in the Narrow Reality.
Now Isadora was stuck: Did she stay on Manta Carlos, where her powers were ‘stuck’ or did she go back to the Narrow Reality where her powers may disappear entirely? Not to mention, it was probably safer to stay on Manta Carlos, where no one who got grifted by her and her could find her. Probably. She ultimately decided to stay.
Unmotivated at school, Isadora ultimately dropped out. She is now a waitress at a Mexican restaurant called Casa Del Toro.
