Chardonnay on the right side merges with Merlot on the left, their torso’s melding together while they both share a long serpentine tail with long creamy white coat of silky fur with maroon belly scales. Each twin visually appears as the inverse of the other: Chardonnay with a skin of rich chocolate and while her sister a creamy vanilla. Both girls possess long cascading hair that reaches past their waist. Chardonnay’s hair is a thick silky mane is the same creamy white as her fur with two canid ears poking out the top of her head. Merlot’s hair is straight and glossy, the same hue of maroon as her belly scales, with a pair of braids and large bun in the back. Along their bangs, each sister has a single streak of the other’s hair color.
Chardonnay’s face structure is vulpine with sharp cheeks, a straight nose, thin lips, sharpened canines and narrow eyes. Merlot's face in contrast is more rounded face with low cheekbones, an upturned nose, plump pouty lips, a forked tongue, and large round eyes. Each twin possesses three arms each on their respective torsos that are heavily tattooed with designs that reflect their personas. Chardonnay’s nails are pointed and painted platinum blonde while Merlot’s nails are rounded and colored with a deep magenta pigment.
In the middle where the twins are conjoined, their skin tones mesh into a messy and splotchy vitiligo pattern if is one is growing into the other. This also extends to their faces where Chardonnay has large patch of light skin her left side of the face with Merlot has similar condition with a large section dark skin on the right side of her face. The two also experience heterochromia with both of their right eyes having a golden iris with black sclera while their left eyes with cerulean irises with white sclera.

From Chardonnay’s maw, she can unleash a powerful roar that blows forth a linear vortex of raging wings up to 60 mph (96 kph) up to 200 ft (60 meters) away.

Possessing a naturally affinity for water, Merlot can manipulate any sources of water within 80 feet (24 meters) around herself. Drawing from nearby pools of water, they can levitate up to 200 gallons (757 liters) of water, about as much as kiddie pool, into any desired shape. Merlot can use this water to lash out like a powerful bull whip or surround themselves in protective shield. They also draw water out from the air itself though the amount depends on the humidity of surrounding air.

From Merlot’s mouth, she can spew forth a chilling cold fog so thick one could hardly see their own hand in front of their face. The mist obscures the entire area within 80-foot (24 meters) radius around herself.

After being driven off, the twins would lurk along the hidden crags along the Balkan coastline and faded into relative obscurity. During the political unrest and ongoing wars in the region, the twins were able prey on local humans throughout 90’s in relative peace and obscurity. By the age of 13 the twins where caught by insurgents when trying to relocate and promptly sold off to an supernatural crime organization called "The Syndicate".
Among the Syndicate the twins were raised as one of the organizations newest asset and was put under a grueling training regime to home their natural strengths and unlock their innate magical abilities. While viewed only as tool, it was improvement over being seen as freak or a monster. Given the codenames of Chardonnay and Merlot, the twins would take part of numerous criminal expeditions across the world as they served the role of both the muscle and magical specialist. The twins were comfortable with their new life until the day they were entrusted to protect a young child whom reminded them too much of themselves: a conjoined, malformed monstrosity named only “The Package”.
Like themselves, Package was some sort of unknown multi-headed magical being whom was only 6 or years old and yet still retain their childish innocence. No matter how they tried to emotionally distance themselves from the kid, the Package was instant that they were somehow their mothers and would shower their affections even when the twins did not reciprocate the feelings back. When the day to finally turn over the Package to their indeed client the twins had change of heart. Betraying the organizing that was practically her only family, they attempted to escape with a scout to Manta Carlos but was intercepted by agents from the Syndicate. In the ensuring combat the Syndicate agents were driven off but the Package was accidentally caught in the crossfire while trying to protect both Chardonnay and Merlot.
Neither the twins nor the accompanying scouts were able to save the child whom succumbed to their wounds mid-transit. Guilt ridden over the death of Package and unable to return to their previous life, they reluctantly accepted the pardon in exchange for sanctuary on the island. After a funeral of which they were the only attendee save for an orthodox priest, they resolve for themselves to make a new life even if they are not sure what to do with it. They know only that they will do it together as they always have.
