Tuesday put her arm around the younger witch and quietly recited a relatively long incantation. After it finished Wednesday would have felt less cold and drier as Tuesday called the water out of the girl's clothing to land on the floor nearby. Tuesday noticeably slumped in the seat from the exertion and had to wait to catch her breath before answering the girl's question.

"I don't think I can judge. I've been out with worse people. But for what it's worth that guy you were kissing seemed pretty surprised by his friends too," Tuesday consoled the girl. Maybe he'd planned things or maybe he'd genuinely liked her. There wasn't a great way to tell. Especially since it seemed like originally he had been sent to get her alone to mess with her.

"Do you think you want to dance more or should I just help you back to your dorm?" She asked, noting mentally that the girl probably wasn't used to drinking much. Tuesday was torn between trying to help Wednesday maybe salvage the night or just getting her home to sleep off the unpleasantness. Personally she would have done the former for herself but Wednesday wasn't like her.

While normally, Wednesday might be somewhat irked by the amount of effort the older witch was putting into making her comfortable, right now she was too drunk to really do anything other than accept the sudden warmth and dryness. After the events of the evening, the small reprieve from the cold was appreciated.

"I think...I think I wanna go." She eventually said, after taking one last slurp from her drink, draining her cup of beer, her words slurring as the alcohol made its way through her system. She was definitely looking drunk now, her physically weak body combined with her lack of experience leaving her to become drunk fairly quickly. She stood up from her seat, trying to distangle herself from Tuesday's arms, clearly unsteady on her feet due to her current state of intoxication.

"Whoa, easy there Wednesday," she called out as the girl stepped up and lurched forward. Wednesday was clearly more drunk than she realized and Tuesday was seriously concerned she might fall. The older witch stood up and moved over to offer her right arm for Wednesday to hold onto for balance. "I should really get you home before you get hurt," she said as she moved to lead the girl around the outer edge of the dancers so they didn't have to go through.

Tuesday was definitely not as drunk as she wanted to be and hadn't danced enough or picked up anyone like she would have probably done at a party like this usually, but sadly that wasn't in the cards. Tonight she was like a witchy babysitter to keep Wednesday safe. Which she half failed already, so letting her walk back to her dorm without help was a no go.

"Come on Wednesday we'll get outside and then Cami can come walk us home." Tuesday knew having the wolf escort them was a good idea. Especially if anyone else decided to try to do something because they were two young women coming back from a night of partying and drinking. It was a lot less likely someone would try to mess with them or steal from them if the wolf was trotting along beside the two.

As soon as Wednesday was on her feet the world seemed to swirl in her vision. She was far more unsteady than she was expecting to be. Her hands reached out around her, groping blindly until she found Tuesday’s arm, which she quickly clung onto, steadying herself.

“Nnnot gonna hurt mys’lf…”She mumbled, quietly. With that one last objection, she followed after Tuesday, letting the older witch lead her along, out of the party, leaning on her for support all the while. Wednesday shivered once they stepped outside, her breath visible in the air in front of her.

She seemed pensive as she stumbled along, quietly thinking to herself. That had been, well, that had been a really shitty way to end the night. But before that, Wednesday was actually enjoying herself, with the dancing, the music, even talking to Darren before he turned out to be an ass.

"Thanks." She eventually said, words still slurring. "For bringin' me out here. I haven't really...hav'n't done anyth'n fun since I got here. Annnd it was fun! Until...y'know...it wasn't..."

Tuesday found it a little amusing, joking to herself that she was usually the one being led out of a party. Under different circumstances though, for sure. Wednesday was absolutely sloshed and there was little left to do but help the younger witch home and make sure she was ok for the night.

Helping to hold the girl up as they walked was a little bit of a strain so they had to move slower, but then she was pretty sure Wednesday herself couldn't move very quickly like this anyway. Tuesday bundled up in her coat and did her best to help Wednesday along as she mentally called for Cami to join them. Bounding around the corner, the large black wolf happily joined them and eyed everyone else passing by like she was going to bite them if they made one wrong step. Of all of them only Cami had had a purely enjoyable night.

"Yeah... I should've maybe started you off a little slower with the partying. But hey, it was fun for a while right? That's what partying is all about- and you'll never get that fun hiding n your room with books," she laughed and tried to drown out the thoughts of the less pleasant parts of the night. Tuesday didn't verbalize the other thought she always had: 'And all of us die early so if you don't enjoy it life just sucks.' That was probably too morbid to share.

She reached down to scratch Cami behind the ears and then nudged the wolf to move closer to Wednesday to share a little bit of her body heat with the girl. "So," Tuesday said as she turned her focus back to Wednesday, "when you decide you want to go out for some fun again let me know. I don't think the rest of the coven are too into going out much." It was true, Tuesday felt like most of them didn't quite agree with the things she did outside of their rituals and castings.

"Heeeeey! Books are fun! Who says books aren't fun?" She frowned, giving Tuesday a bump with her side, before devolving into a little drunk giggle. As much as she did enjoy reading, she didn't think she could compare it that much to tonight. It was a different kind of fun, that much was clear.

Wednesday almost didn't notice Cami until the wolf had trotted over to join them. She reached a hand down, running a hand along her fur as she got close.

"Wellllll I don' think you can blame them. We're witches. Witches are always meant to be all reclusive and stuff. At least, tha's what my family were always drilling into me." She began to speak in a deeper, mock authorative tone. "The worlds a dangerous place Reina. We survived by being cautious Reina. They din't let me go out much. Especially not to anything like a party."

She hiccupped, interrupting herself. She was feeling a lot more talkative than normal right now, which, in the back of her mind she was aware it was due to being under the influence. But at the moment, it didn't particularly seem to bother her. The fact she just casually dropped half her true name didn't even register. The others in the Coven were aware of it, hopefully no one else was listening in.

"I jus'...kinda assumed it was like that for all of us."

Tuesday couldn't help but laugh along with Wednesday a little. At least the girl was in good spirits. Alcohol induced perhaps, but that had kinda been the goal of the night in a way right? "I'll give you it does depend on what you're reading. I do plenty of studying and work- I just make sure to live things up too," she relented and continued escorting her along. Cami happily trotted along with them, enjoying the happier state the girls were in. And the petting of course.

"But see that's all wrong. Or at least most of it. Being careful is fine to a point but you've all been cautious all this time. And we still have curses. I have a whole mess of them but no one is ever going to say I lived a boring life-," she started on a bit of a pointless monologue before realizing what Wednesday had done. Her smile disappeared and she became a little more serious.

"Whoa, be careful about names Wednesday," she cautioned and emphasized the assumed name for the girl. Even with a little bit of a buzz going on she was able to think clearly enough to nip that in the bud.

Then she dropped the sternness again to resume smiling and nudged the girl back. "My family wasn't as strict as yours. But they did try to say the same things. I just dont always listen to authority figures so much." Tuesday had been grounded, and snuck out while grounded, so many times.

Wednesday went rigid in Tuesday's arm as soon as she realised what she just did. She definitely took the true situation with all of the coven's true names very seriously, messing up and giving her name to someone not only put her at risk, but all the others as well.

"O-oh um, S-sorry." She quickly stammered, rubbing one of her arms sheepishly, casting a quick glance around them just to see if there was anyone who could hear. She was glad they had already left the party before she could make that blunder.

Wednesday tried not to dwell too much on her mistake though, Tuesday had already moved on, so she thought she might as well too. Instead, she was now reflecting back on her family, back on her childhood.

"My um...so my family adopted me." She started to explain, looking a little more melancholy then she had before. When Wednesday had first joined with the rest of the coven, introduced herself as the representative of the Verdun clan, the fact that she wasn't related to the original coven by blood was a detail she'd neglected to mention.

"They said tha'...they said many times that they didn't need to take me in. Said that if I was more trouble th'n I was worth they'd kick me out. So I never dreamed of disobeying them. I jus' wanted to be helpful and stuff."

She let out a long sigh, shoulders sagging a little. The alcohol was definitely loosening her lips now.

"I think I missed out, on like, a lot of things. Things like...well, this." She gestured vaguely back in the direction of the party. "I think I'm still missing out on lotsa things. I think maybe I never would have if I pushed back more? I dunno."

She glanced back up at Tuesday, leaning against her a little more as she did.

"I dunno how to be like you..."

Fortunately no one was near enough to overhear the name slip but Tuesday made a mental note to watch that kind of thing if she took the girl out drinking again. As much as she liked to let loose, and wanted to teach her to enjoy things too, the whole name thing was dead serious.

Wednesday did seem to get the danger though so it wasn't worth pressing now. Not while she was drunk and probably going to forget at least some of this.

The adoption was indeed news to Tuesday but to put it bluntly, Wednesday was as much a witch, if not more, than any of the rest of them. She had the family curse so blood or not, she was part of them. "Screw 'em. You only owe them as much respect as they gave you. And that sounds like very little," she snorted and then paused to shift a little as they missed a step and needed to steady themselves again. Cami growled her agreement with Tuesday, reacting to her emotions rather than the actual words since she couldn't understand them.

The girl had clearly missed out on a lot. Good things and bad. There were plenty of bad situations Tuesday had gotten into because she wasn't so "good" like her sister witch was. Still though, being like her? Tuesday had mixed feelings about being someone's role model. She was pretty sure the others were going to frown on it. A lot. But screw it, that wasn't her problem.

She lifted Wednesday back up a bit and started them walking again. A twinge in her back told her that she was going to regret it tomorrow and the slight pain made her grimace a tiny bit. "The first step? Stop worrying about what might have been. It doesn't matter. Focus on what you're doing now... and what you want to do. Everyone will tell you what you should do but it's your life."

"What I wanna do..."

Wednesday had spent most of her life thinking what she wanted to do was secondary compared to what she could do for her family. She had practically been raised to think that the best thing she could do was become a powerful witch to make them proud. Of course, she wanted that as well, but it had always been primarily for their sake.

What else was there? The most pressing concern she has was the curse. Her own curse, the family's curse, the rest of the covens curses as well. But if she broke the curses, no, when she broke the curses, what would she do after all that?

"I think...I should sleep on that." She eventually mumbled. "My head's starting to hurt..."

She rubbed her forehead with her free hand. The earlier fun high she'd been feeling was starting to fade, and the alcohol was definitely starting to make her feel queasy.
