<div align=center>"On the other hand, maybe I should kick the shit out of you as well." Dark eyes flickering down to Gabriel, and a wide, creepy smile spreading across his girlish features. "Since, you've destroyed another friendship of mine, yet again." Perhaps Bill should give up on having any friends at all, all that seemed to happen was that Gabe got jealous and ended up, well, doing things exactly like this. Looking at it, William only had friends that were girls. August, of course was one of his friends, but he very much got the feeling that because of this he'd have to end that now, too. William had no idea why Gabe was blaming August.

"What made you think you had the right to storm on in here and start a fight, anyway - if what August is saying is true, and you are the one who started the fight." He was thoroughly confused, he was sure he'd told Gabriel to leave August alone, but his memory was hazy. "Since I was the one that went to him for sex. I wanted to spite you." He stated, moving away from August to stand over Gabe instead. "Looks like it worked. That isn't August's fault, is it? It's mine. It was my idea. I practically had to more or less force him into it anyway." Force probably wasn't the right word to use, but it certainly hadn't been August's idea, and Bill knew it had been completely against his better judgement. "So go on then, Gabriel. Hit me. Hit me as hard as you can."</div>

August had long since given up fighting back, and he sort of just accepted his punishment. William had now turned on Gabe, and his interest was sparked despite the throbbing pain that controlled his mind right now. It was a wonder he was still conscious, after fighting two people. He had a solid record of getting into fist fights, but he had never had to fight two people one after the other. He didn't think he could fight William, though. He had thought about it when he was being kicked. It would be easy as anything to ignite the knee that winded him, but he decided that it was a bad idea.

Still curled up on the floor, he wriggled his arm for Gisa, and she slid underneath it, helping him draw himself into a sitting position. Leaning himself into her shoulder, his head fell to the side as he watched the new battle spark between lovers. He wanted to pipe up that what he saying was true, that he had been punched first, but figured that William probably believed him anyway, forcing the boy to swallow a sly smile. Now was probably the absolute worst time to let his emotions show. Well, he didn't think William forced him. He hadn't been that unwilling. After most of their clothes had been pulled off, he was probably the polar opposite of unwilling.

Any sense of smugness the angel had been feeling automatically vanished when William opened his mouth again. ' On the other hand, maybe I should kick the shit out of you as well. ' Gabe could probably handle that, it'd hurt like hell sure, but he knew he deserved it for ruining yet another friendship of Bill's. If he were honest, he never had quite understood how the boy put up with him for so long.

The thing that Gabriel couldn't take however came next. His boyfriend began to blame himself, at least partially, and began trying to goad the angel to hit him. ' Hit me. Hit me as hard as you can. ' Gabe frowned, and didn't budge an inch. Any anger that he'd felt at William about the whole ordeal had vanished after he had died. Gabe believed the whole thing was August's fault, and nothing Bill could say would change that. In that way Gabe was quite immature, and in reality he was blinded by love. In his eyes, Bill couldn't do anything wrong, and there was no way he'd be able to be violent with the teen. Well, not in this kind of way anyway.

"I didn't know..." Gabe was feeling awfully ashamed of himself now, and rightly so. "That you were the one who went to him. " He'd never gotten the full story after all, he'd only heard that they'd slept together and automatically put August in the wrong.

<div align=center>"No, no." William answered, holding both hands up and laughing softly, "go on, hit me." A small smile spread across his features, there was a strange look in his eye, and it didn't take a genius to realize that he was completely serious. William had gone to August, and all this was William's fault. Did he feel ashamed? No. He didn't. He'd broken up with Gabriel, they hadn't even been dating at the time that Bill had slept with August. Had he cheated on Gabe? No. He hadn't. Not even a little bit. They hadn't been together. This argument was ridiculous.

"After all August fucking did for me you decide to kick the shit out of him?" William asked, pointedly. He still viewed August as a friend, of course he did. Sure, he might have said the wrong things and provoked the angel even further, but he'd been good to him. He'd been so good to him. "He sat in the hospital with me all night. He let me sleep in his room. He looked after me." The boy's fists clenched, he didn't care if Gabriel had been resurrected, neither Bill nor August knew that when the boy had died. "Do you know why he did that? Because he's a good guy, Gabriel. Not because he wanted to fuck me or claim me. He looked after me because he's a good person." This felt like deja vu, they'd already had a conversation along these lines.</div>

August growled quietly. Gabe hadn't even known the whole story before attacking, how irresponsible. For all he knew it could have been a rumour. His muscles twitched and spasmed; he wanted to go back across there and punch him square in the face for that. One look at William's face quieted him, remembering the feeling of a foot connecting with his body. Still, August remained tense and ready, hoping that William's next words would be something along the lines of- Go get 'em, August.
Of course, Bill said no such thing.

August quieted further as William spoke, feeling guiltier about fighting by the second. He didn't think he had been that helpful during those few depressing days, but it was warming to see his efforts meant a lot to his friend. August had, unfortunately, developed a minor crush on his friend while he had spent that time with him, but had almost successfully managed to quash it before it could ruin anything. Those lingering feelings were probably another reason why he didn't mind taking care of Bill. Still mildly frightened of speaking out of turn, August remained silent, his eyes flicking between Gabe and Bill.

"I'm not gonna fucking hit you! " Gabe snapped back, at the boy. The angel was smart enough to realise that if he did hit the teen then their relationship would be completely finished. Then again it was beginning to look like their relationship might already be over. Gabriel sincerely hoped it wasn't but things were looking bleak. The man didn't dare acknowledge August, as he knew that all hell would break lose if he so much as glanced at him.

Gabe had been aware that the two of them had slept together, William had told him as much. He wasn't blindly following the information of a rumour. It was easy to see how August believed that from the way the boy was acting though. Sure, Bill had told him all about how the other man had helped him before but it seemed Gabe's jealously had taken over and he'd simply disregarded that information.

This time, Gabe heard what the boy was trying to get through to him about August and he was becoming increasingly ashamed of himself. I let my jealously ruin everything. Gabe had often made mistakes, but usually they were able to be fixed with an apology and some goodwill. He wasn't sure if this situation could be mended, definitely not with something as simple as an apology. "I... , Gabe allowed himself to meet August's eyes, "I fucked things up big time. I know an apology won't cut it, but I'm sorry. " It had pained him to apologise to the man, but he had no idea what else to do.

The angel turned back to Bill, "I was overprotective and a huge fucking idiot, and I know you must hate me." He frowned, it wasn't often he put himself down so you knew that when he did he really fucking regretted whatever it was he'd done. "I know there's probably nothing I can do to make this better... " he sighed. If I were him I'd punch me in the fucking face.

<div align=center>"Oh Jesus fucking Christ Gabe just fucking hit me!" The man hadn't been such a wuss about hitting August. Why couldn't he hit him? It was irritating William and he just wanted to get this over with and go back to his dorm room. The angrier William got, the more likely it was that he was going to lose his rag with Gabriel for real and end up pushing him away again. William didn't feel like doing that right now, but why wasn't he going to hit him? He'd obviously thought that August had deserved it, but it had been William's own idea, so why not do the same to him?

"Or are you too much of a fucking coward to do it? Oh come on. Big man like you can't hit a little skinny bastard like me." He let out a trail of laughter, and lifted an eyebrow. He glanced backwards at August, frowning a little. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" He asked, tilting his head to the side briefly, "I hope I didn't hurt you too much." Though of course if he caused anymore trouble William probably wouldn't hesitate to do it again, and that was the same for both of them. "You gonna do it or not, Saporta? I'm getting bored."</div>

August jumped as the argument progressed to yelling, and his eyebrows raised as his arm clutched Gisa to him tighter. She had taken to grooming the blood out of his hair lovingly, and despite the sticky cat spit, he appreciated her affections. Shooting Gabe a smug look at the apology, August swallowed a rude retort. The man had been nice enough to apologise, and really the least August could do was listen. He didn't have to accept it, per se, but he could at least listen. Feeling still like a petulant child, he stared straight ahead at Gabe, making no move to either accept or deny an apology. Certainly, he didn't want to make one back.

Startled that he was being addressed, his head snapped up, staring at William uncertainly. His mood changed in an instant, and his voice was a little softer. August wasn't sure if this was some sort of trick or not, and he eyed the other boy a little nervously. "Oh, um, no I'm fine, thank you. I can always ... Go get healed. Or sleep for a week or so." His hand pressed to his stomach, and he was sure he had broken at least one thing. It hurt a bit to breathe, but it wasn't so bad. It was made up for a little as William had said he hoped he hadn't gotten hurt too much. He was a champion, nothing could hurt him.

"I don't get why the fuck you want me to hit you so bad!" Gabe narrowed his eyes, trying to sense if the boy was setting up some sort of trap for him to fall into. If I hit him maybe he'll hold it against me forever. Gabe thought, but then again he's practically begging for me to do it... The angel was beginning to realise that it'd actually be smarter to go with what William wanted than to argue against it. Either way there would be consequences, but he'd deal with them in due course.

"Or are you too much of a fucking coward to do it? Oh come on. Big man like you can't hit a little skinny bastard like me." Gabe had promised himself he wouldn't be goaded into any more fights, but hearing those words come out of his lover's mouth made him break that promise. He launched himself at the teen, grabbing the boy's shoulders and sending a punch to the underside of his boyfriend's jaw. Technically William had told him to hit him not punch him, but Gabe figured either action would satisfy what the boy had wanted. Gabe wondered if he was going to receive one back. "There. You happy? "

<div align=center>Because deep down you think that I fucking deserve it. Was the sentence on William's lips, but before he could even speak, he felt a fist strike his jaw, hearing it crack in the back of his head and the metallic taste of blood fill his mouth. Shit. The boy's vision blurred for a moment, causing him to stumble a few inches backwards, before spitting a mouthful of blood out onto the floor, the crimson liquid trickling down his chin and dripping onto his shirt. He's got a fucking arm like a cannon. Regaining his senses and shaking his head a little, William glared at Gabriel.

A hand went out to snatch a handful of the man's hair, headbutting him square in the middle of the forehead and following that up with a haymaker to the man's jaw, feeling it crunch underneath his fist and knocking Gabriel down to the floor. "Fuck, you asshole, you made me bite my tongue." Bringing his sleeve up to wipe the blood from his mouth, William mumbled something that ended up being lost into the fabric. Extending the same hand down to Gabriel that he'd punched him with, the boy raised an eyebrow. His voice had picked up a far softer tone when he spoke, this time. "C'mon you damn idiot, let's go back to your room."</div>
