August had ventured into the cafeteria to give the food another try. This time, he had gotten chicken nuggets, hoping that they would be better than whatever he had gotten last time. Picking a seat somewhat secluded, he rejected the offers from his friends to sit with them. He didn't feel like staying too long, preferring to get back to his dorm. Gisa sat beside him, alert as ever, as she begged quietly for pieces of chicken. Occasionally, she would make tiny chirping noises, as if to remind her boy that she was there, and watching raptly.

Moving the hardened pieces of burned nuggets around his plate, he rested his head on his hand, scanning the crowds for anyone interesting. His eyes lit upon a girl he had been trying to avoid, and his eyes quickly darted away to the other side of the room, lest she feel his eyes on her. August sat up straighter once he caught sight of a familiar boy, though. This time, the boy had wings. That was a significant development since the last time he saw him. What was his name, Gabe. He was Bill's boyfriend. Somewhere deep in his chest, he felt the familiar tinge of jealousy mixed with satisfaction. On one hand, Gabe got William all the time. On the other, August had managed to sleep with Bill, and that small victory made him feel quite superiour to Gabe.

The angel's stomach complained all the way to the cafeteria; Gabe was ravenous. He'd woken up late this morning, and hadn't had time to fit in breakfast in before lectures, and lunch had come and gone without him realising. He was no good at cooking for himself, and he hadn't felt like bothering poor Bill about making him dinner, which was why he had ended up resorting to the dodgy canteen food that he'd sworn to avoid after feeling sick the last time he ate there.

However before Gabe even got to the counter to pay, his eyes locked with August's . He'd recognise that asshole anywhere, and the cheetah - or whatever she is - too. He dumped the tray he was holding onto the counter, his hunger had been replaced with an appetite for revenge. "Nobody sleeps with my boyfriend and gets away with it. " He muttered angrily, under his breath. He made his way over there with his eyes narrowed and frown lines painting his forehead. August was in for it.

The fact that August had slept with Bill was only part of the problem, the main problem was how smug the man looked as if he had bested Gabe at some kind of game . Well, not this time - Gabe was not going to let him win. Which was why the first thing he did when he reached August's table was deck him smack bang in the middle of the face, without even saying a word.

The punch had probably hurt Gabe more than it had hurt August, although you wouldn't know it from looking at him. He was pretty good at keeping his pain and emotions hidden. He was doing his best to ignore the stinging sensation that had crept from his knuckles into his wrist. "Fuck you." He finally blurted out, he wanted to scream it over and over again and punch the man until he blacked out but that would be overdoing, even Gabe knew that. Besides, he didn't want to seem immature.

Gabe had begun to approach, and August dropped the burned piece of thing he was holding, standing to meet the oncoming man. Gisa, feeling the tension, immediately slunk under the table to watch the proceedings from safety. The other boy looked awfully irate, and that only made August feel even better at himself. He had gotten laid, and pissed someone insignificant off. Perfect.
What he wasn't expecting, was the punch. It was delivered right to the middle of his face, and August hissed and drew back, rubbing his nose. A small trickle of blood flowed from his nose, and he wiped it away with the back of his hand.

"You fucking asshole." Lunging for Gabe, August pushed Gabe's chest with all his might, his fist grabbing a handful of fabric to hold the other man in place so he could deliver a solid blow in return. Gabe was a couple inches taller than he was, though that didn't stop him from throwing his weight around. A gasping laugh emerged from his throat, "Is that all you've got? Damn, even William gave me more than that. He sure knew how to give." He almost couldn't help but taunt Gabe, especially since he knew how badly his and William's interaction probably bothered him. He was actually sort of enjoying it; being a dick was second nature to him once he got going.

'You fucking asshole' , Gabe almost laughed at that. "You're calling me the asshole? " His voice was cold, inflicted with anger. "I'm not the guy who goes and sleeps with other people's boyfriends " Gabe should have been expecting the blow, after all he had been the one to start the fight, he should have known August would continue it. He yanked himself out of the man's grasp, the shirt he was wearing ripping in the process. It was a cheap one that didn't matter so he ignored it. He tried to regain his balance, he'd gone dizzy temporarily. Then he leaned in and socked August again, harder this time.

"Oh yeah? " Gabe fumed, his anger clouding his senses. I don't care if I'm being immature, I don't care if I'll regret this. I don't care, I don't care, I don't care. I'm going to pummel him. Gabe grabbed the man's black hair between his fingers, as he gave a blow to the man's stomach. That'll make him keel over. At the very least it would have hurt a good deal. "How's that for giving ? "

Gabe jerked himself backwards, effectively getting out of August's grasp and probably ruining his shirt a little. He was about to throw a nasty remark back when a fist hooked him and left him breathless. "Yeah." He could feel his body pumping adrenaline double time, and most of his aches and pains disappeared in the moment. His body heat flared up, though he wanted to keep it to a mostly powerless fight. At least no one would be able to say it wasn't fair when he won if it was without powers.

Gabe had grabbed his head and punched him in the stomach, his insides contorting as he felt it in the back of his spine. For a kid that looked like a baby, he could definitely punch. "At least William put some strength into it when he was pushing back." Growling now, August tossed his head, dislodging himself as he lowered his head and butted his opponent down to the ground, falling with him. Pinning one of Gabe's arms, August knew that he was making it worse, but he was almost addicted to fueling Gabe's anger. In a way, this was an outlet to release any jealousy over possession of Bill, and August let his emotions guide his fists. His fist wound back, connecting with Gabe's jaw, and August rolled backwards at the impact, panting and recollecting himself. Gisa was absolutely no help, hiding under the table and staring with wide eyes. Panting, August grinned wickedly, tasting his own blood on the back of his tongue. "It's too bad, but I can't wait until William comes back to my bed after you've been an asshole again. He makes the cutest noises."

As Gabe was knocked to the ground, he could feel his ability to breathe escaping him. His muscles were aching, and his body was getting tired. He knew that he could draw on his powers to give him energy, but that would be cheating. He wasn't going to cheat, not in this fight. He kicked at the man who was pinning him down, before struggling to yank his arm free and lift his head off the ground.

Unfortunately for poor Gabe, he didn't quite manage to escape in time and August's fists collided with his jaw, causing the back of his head to smash against the floor. " ¡Tu puta madre!" Gabe exclaimed, through gritted teeth. The pain that was flooding through his jaw made him think it was broken. He didn't care about that right now though, all he cared about was ruining that stupid pretty face of August's.

Gabe got his opportunity when the other man rolled away. He dragged himself over there with the amount of energy he had left and let the man have it, beating his fists against August's face with all the force he had. "William will never go back to you. He doesn't make the same mistake twice. " Gabriel spat at the man.

He was allowed a few seconds of breath before the fight resumed, Gabe coming back at him to fly at his face. He heard a loud crack, and his cheek flooded with pain. Figuring Gabe probably broke his cheekbone, August grunted before swinging his knee up, burying it deep under Gabe's ribcage. His arms came up to defend his face, and he kicked wildly before bunching himself up, flinging himself forwards at Gabe. He knew it was a bit of an underhanded move and a little childish, but he swung a fist at Gabe's crotch.

Panting heavily, his tongue lolled out. Staggering backwards, August stood at the defensive some ways away. Sweat and blood had plastered his hair to his forehead, clinging to his skin and sticking up at odd angles. Blood dripped down from his tongue, making him look like something out of a horror movie. "I don't know about that, he seemed to be really enjoying himself." A wheezing laugh erupted from his throat, and he wiped the blood off his chin. "Just in case, I'll keep my bed warm. It still smells like him, you know."

The knee to Gabe's core had been enough, August didn't need to add in the blow to his crotch. The man rolled off August, breathless and almost blacking out from the sheer pain he was feeling, everywhere on his body hurt and he swore that if he wasn't immortal he'd be dead by now. Gabe had underestimated the man when he went over to pick a fight with him; August could put up an insanely good fight.

Gabriel lay on the hard cold canteen floor for what felt like hours, but was only a few minutes in reality. He glanced over at the other man who was drenched in his own sweat and painted in blood, and he'd just about decided to give up fighting when August began to laugh and the snide comment he made sent the angelover the edge. He wasn't going to let August win this one, Gabe was going to have the last punch even if it was the death of him.

"Oh yeah, after how long? Don't you do laundry? " The angel laughed without humour. As he distracted August with the question, he lunged at the man and punched him right in the jugular with the last of his energy.

<div align=center>Trouble. That was what William sensed. He had a nose for bad situations like a Bloodhound did for a dying fox, and this afternoon something was very wrong. Moving down to the canteen, it seemed somehow more crowded than usual, there was a commotion going on at one end, his brow furrowed. Approaching the area was more or less like running full on into a brick wall for him, the storm of rage that hit the boy was more than enough to make him grit his teeth. Dark eyes flickered over the pair at battle, and immediately fire flashed up in them. For crying out loud what is this about? Though, he already knew the answer to that.

Squaring his chin and pushing through the throng of people that had crowded around, William grimaced and whimpered at the sudden rush of pain that hit him. Oh goodness. He made a noise and stumbled a few inches forward, hunching his shoulders and letting a hand shift to his forehead. That really hurts. Why the hell were these people just standing around watching? Bill couldn't understand. These two were going to kill each other if no one stopped them. Who in their right mind would fight over me? The notion seemed absolutely ridiculous, and all of a sudden the burning rage that William felt in the pit of his stomach far overcame the rage radiating off the two men tearing into each other.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing!?" Each of his hands latched onto one of Gabriel's ears, and one of August's. Bill's face was more or less completely blank. It didn't take a genius to realize that this was a situation he was incredibly unhappy with.</div>

About to retort something about being cleaner, August was attacked by surprise with a punch to the throat. Making a gasping noise, he coughed momentarily before trying to clear his throat for breath. Getting ready to pounce back at Gabe, he was stopped by a sudden pinch to his ear. August hissed, spitting blood with his anger at being stopped. He paused to look up, surprised to see that it was William who had stopped them.

There was also a crowd of people surrounding he and Gabe, all cheering for their favourite side. He imagined bets would have also been going around, choosing who would live and who would die. A whimpery little cough crashed through his lungs, and he placed his hand over his stomach. He thought something was probably broken by now. Most likely a lot of somethings were broken between the both of them. His ear was starting to hurt with the vice grip Bill had on it, and he shook his head nervously. An arm quickly extended to lay blame on his opponent, and he stared up at William with a cross expression. "He started it. He punched me first. I was only defending myself." At least August had that much of an excuse going for him. Self-defense. Though, it probably didn't help that he antagonised Gabe up to this point.
