'What the fuck do you think you're doing!?' . Gabe didn't need to look back to recognise who it was. William. He'd know who that voice belonged to, no matter where he was or what state he was in. Oh fuck. As he felt the boy's fingers pinching his ear, Gabriel realised that he was well and truly in for it now. The fight with August was nothing compared to the shit he was in with William.

The crowd who had gathered around, though none had offered any help to either side, seemed to be cheering even louder now. They were intrigued by this new addition to the mix. Gabe might have felt embarrassed that he was being publicly scolded, if it weren't for the fact that the rage emitting from William caused him to lose focus on everyone else.

'"He started it.' Gabe opened his mouth to deny it, before remembering that he had in fact punched August first. He didn't even have the excuse of self-defense. His cheeks were beginning to become as red as his ear. "No, you started it the day you slept with my boyfriend." Gabe lashed back, from his point of view August was completely in the wrong, even if he hadn't been the one to start the physical side of things. "He kept goading me into fighting more. " He offered his boyfriend his side of the story. "What was I supposed to do? Ignore him? "

<div align=center>William's teeth bared in a wordless snarl, are they seriously just gonna blame each other? This was ridiculous. They were both grown men and they were scrapping over - what seemed to William - nothing. He'd slept with August, and that had been his decision. Him and Gabriel hadn't even been together then. Gabriel had absolutely no right to tear into August about this, the fact that Bill wasn't saying anything was probably the worst sign Gabe and August could have hoped for. William was a gentle, mellow boy. It wasn't like him to get so angry, but right now, William Beckett was furious.

"Oh for crying out loud." He growled, scowling, and glancing between the two for a moment. They reminded him of kids, in all honesty. Scrapping, bratty little children that both needed a good smack to make them shut up and apologize to each other. He kept goading me into fighting more. This only made William scowl even more, letting out a long, exasperated sigh likened to an irritated mother. What was I supposed to do? Ignore him? "Yes!" He snapped, "Jesus fucking Christ, Gabriel! You're twenty three years old!" He tugged a little harder on the man's ear, "you're acting like a five year old!"</div>

August hissed violently at the accusation. Of course he had slept with him but it wasn't like August was the one who instigated the sex. He of course, noted with satisfaction that Gabe was turning redder as this all dragged on. August shifted slightly closer to William, trying to alleviate the pain in his ear. He was a little stiff, trying to not make any sudden movements that could provoke Bill into rounding on him. He was rather enjoying Gabe's lecture.

August crinkled up his nose, a low hissing noise passing for laughter. His body hurt too much for the real thing but Gabe getting torn up for fighting was too good. "Twenty three and still fighting like a school brat how sad. Someone needs a time out. " August shot Gabe a sly look, still not fully satisfied with the outcome of their brawl. After all, Gabe had managed to get the last punch before William arrived, and August quietly seethed over that. He would get the last word even if it meant a lecture and bruised ears

Gabe couldn't believe that William was choosing to lay all the blame for this on him . Sure, as the lecture went on he began to realize that he had acted incredibly immaturely but he wasn't going to give August the satisfaction of admitting that. " You're not much younger, and your fight is ten times worse." The angel snarled at August. Poor Gabriel had never learnt the habit of ignoring people successfully and that was the main reason they were all here now in the middle of the canteen causing such a spectacle.

The angel always felt the need to come out on top. He wanted to be the one who always got the last punch, and the last word. He didn't realize how immature this could make him appear. Although one glance at Bill's face and a sharper tug on his ear made him regret his comment to August. "Sorry," the man's voice had grown quieter, "I'm done now. " He purposefully avoided looking at the other man's face, because even though the apology had been directed at Bill he knew August would be wearing a smug expression, thinking he'd won .

<div align=center>Twenty three and still fighting like a school brat how sad. William yanked hard on August's ear, let go of Gabriel's and lifted the hand, smacking August hard on the cheek. His hand meeting the skin with a loud crack, bringing up a large, red welt as he moved his hand away from August's cheek and back to latch on Gabriel's ear again, "Don't behave like he's the only one in the wrong, you spoiled little shit!" He yelled, yanking August's head downwards and glaring at him. "You're just as bad as each other!" This whole situation was ridiculous, William really rather wanted to kick them both so hard they didn't get up again for a few hours. "You were the one that provoked him in the first place, and you shouldn't have fucking given into him! Are you both stupid?!"

William snarled loudly, glancing around at the silenced crowd and rounding on them now. "Do you wanna stand there all day poking into other people's business?! Get the hell out of here! Fight's over! They're both fucking dumb as hell!" The last time he'd been this angry with Gabriel was when he'd fought with Micheal, are you gonna make it so I have no friends at all? That's what they'd argued about before Gabriel had died, and now the idiot was battling with August simply because he was jealous. William didn't like it one bit. His eyes snapped back to Gabriel, "you're done? Good. At least we can see who the more mature one is here." Though, Gabriel was apologizing to him rather than August, he sensed.</div>

August curled his lip in distain at Gabe's jab. He lurched forward, but was stopped by a sharp blow to the cheek. Pushed back into place, he sat sullenly, cheek stinging. Gabe was the only one in the wrong, he was sure of it. He felt like a dog, jerked around by an irate owner. Shame made his other cheek burn just as bright as the throbbing one, and he growled low in his throat.

William turned on the crowd, yelling at all of them and startling most into running off. They didn't run very far, and he couldn't blame them. Had he been in their position, he'd want to see what happened next, too. Gisa had begun to creep out from under her table, inching across the floor to perch precariously next to August. She looked awfully nervous, and August felt bad that she had to see all of that. She never did like fighting. "Done? Like hell you are."
Jerking his head, he ripped himself out of Bill's grasp, launching himself across the short distance at Gabe. Headbutting him in the chest, August went down with the other man, biting him savagely on the shoulder. He knew the repercussions that William would hand out would be severe, but it was worth it if he could win this.

Gabe was a lot better than August at keeping his smugness off his face, and had anyone been paying attention to him as Bill rounded on the other man they wouldn't have been able to tell how thrilled he was with the situation. Of course, the members of the crowd who were still hanging around were focused on those two for the moment. Then William yelled at them and they all scuttled across to the other side of the canteen, though few actually left the room.

'You're done? Good. At least we can see who the more mature one is here.' Gabe couldn't tell if William was being sarcastic, but either way he felt like it would be safer to stay quiet. He was already threading in extremely deep waters, one wrong move and he'd drown. Even if he had wanted to say something he didn't get much of a chance as August pounced on him with a warning only a fraction of a second before.

As the angel was knocked to the ground, he swore he could feel teeth digging into his shoulder. "What the hell? Is he biting me? " The man started laughing as he realised that August, a grown man, was in fact biting him. Gabe was pretty sure the man had drawn blood but he barely felt it at the moment - he was too busy trying to suppress the overwhelming rage that was building up inside of him. Don't fight back, don't do it. Look at William's face, do you want to make that boy any angrier? No. Gabriel Saporta wasn't afraid of much, but he sure was afraid of William Beckett when he was raging .

<div align=center>When August wormed his way out of William's grip, the look on his face went from full on rage to more or less completely void of any kind of emotion. Now was when the flood gates broke, and the raging waters would consume the two and drag them into the murky depths. "You've completely ignored everything I've just said." The boy's voice was dangerously calm, William wasn't playing games anymore. An eyebrow flicked upwards as August's teeth clamped down on Gabriel's shoulder. How dirty. Biting was what dogs did. If August was going to lower himself to the level of a dog, William would treat him like one.

"Really? you're going to bite him?" William matter of factly leaned down, and grabbed a substantial handful of August's hair. "Then you're no better than a wild animal, are you?" The eerie softness of Bill's voice was reminiscent of the calm period just before a storm strikes, when the clouds are black and electricity hands in the air. "I'll kick you like one, shall I?" Roughly yanking the man to his feet, fury flashed up in William's eyes. Jerking August's head backwards, one of the teen's knees met the man's crotch with a dull thud, at a force hard enough to make even the toughest of the tough shed a tear. Bill's fist came round and struck the boy just under the jaw a second later, "when I say you're done. I fucking mean it."

All of these actions were carried out in such a calm manner it was almost strange to think that the boy was so angry. But that was the worst part about all this. His eyes flickered down to Gabriel a second later, as if waiting for him to make a smart remark. There was something incredibly unnerving about William Beckett right now.</div>

August whined as he felt his hair being yanked back. Reluctantly, he detached, and allowed himself to be dragged backwards, going limp. He didn't have any fight left in him, and was happy to face his consequences. In his mind, he had won, and that's all that mattered to him right now. A fierce knee to his crotch, and he jumped, biting back a whimper. He squirmed, trying to override the pain with rationality. Of course, that only worked to a certain extent. The fist that met his jaw was easier to handle. He was used to fists flying at his face, he could meet that one with less trepidation.

His face in general hurt too much right now to speak, and he only blinked to affirm that he was done. He had lost the rest of his energy in that final bite, and was ready to curl up for a few days. This time, he was happy to go along with what William decided. Had he known this would happen, he probably wouldn't have fought earlier. It was still all Gabe's fault, though. Hanging onto that thought, August stubbornly kept the blame laid on his opponent, and probably would never let it go as long as he lived.

Gabe pulled himself up off the ground so that he was in a sitting position. This way he got a better look at the action that was going on between Bill and August. Well, August wasn't exactly doing very much at all but William was giving him a right beating. Looks like I don't need to worry about Bill getting hurt. If August dared to try anything against the boy though, Gabe would be on him again like a light.

Something inside Gabe's heart swelled as he watched William attacking August. It showed him that no matter how mad the boy was with him, he'd still defend him. Gabe supposed that was a sign of true love. He was half tempted to lash out a cheeky remark at August but after seeing the look his boyfriend gave him he decided it was best to keep his trap shut.

Gabe wondered what'd happen from here, only beginning to realise the true consequences of his rash actions. Obviously himself and August would never be expected to get on in the future, and he was sure he'd hold a deep hatred for the man for as long as he lived. That had been the case ever since August slept with Bill so it wasn't anything new. However he was more worried about how this would affect his relationship with William Beckett, given the man's extremely unnerving demeanour right now.
