Lorencia's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Of course!" she chirped quite happily. Why didn't she think of that? There were many places she could have shown him, but she chose a very special place.
"Okay, give me a moment!"
Lorencia closed her eyes. The floor, the roof and the walls all faded into darkness, but their footing and the footing of the furniture were unaffected by their disappearance, however the utter darkness may inspire a sense of claustrophobia, however the ambient lighting didn't change either, so everything else could be seen normally.
Soon, the fresh scent of grass wafted through the air as the ground beneath their feet appeared, revealing green blades swaying in a soft breeze. A big tree was the next thing to appear. Its trunk was woody, big and brown just like a normal tree, but its leaves had a grey color, and it was bearing fruits that suspiciously looked a lot like apples. It was bent into a C curve, implying that in its early days it was trampled, but as it grew it worked to right itself.
The greenery would slope down like they were on a hill and then suddenly drop off as if they were standing in a plot of land that had been ripped right out from the ground. The darkness that surrounded them turned to a light violet fog that expanded outwards, way beyond the boundaries of her powers. Underneath them, a number of miles down, was a smoky cloud of pink that seemed to shine brightly.
Lorencia walked down the slope and turned to look at Victor and wave him over. She sat down and pointed outwards, where a number of far away islands could be seen floating in space, each hosting either a city, a farm, or a small village.
"These are the best illusions I can make at the moment. It doesn't capture just how beautiful the real thing is, but it's still pretty to look at." They were still in the same space that had been a bedroom before, and if they were to walk to where the walls were, they'd simply bump into them.
"My family comes here whenever we want to see the fireworks because that island right there is usually where they set them up," she pointed to medium-sized island that looked to be a large park.
"This place has the best view compared to anywhere else. Not to mention it's a great picnic spot."
