Melivere tensed at his words, and without anymore warning she began to shake the gryphon in her grasp - up and down, back and forth. This would go on for some time, before mid-shake she would release the gryphon - most likely sending him into a tree, or at least across the clearing.

Once she had released him, wherever the poor creature had ended up, she started toward him again - shouting out - "Away you three inch fool! Away with you before I don't stop." She was not happy with the male; it would make working with him harder, she knew that, but he needed to know she did not joke around - and insulting her was just the worst idea one could do.

If the gryphon did not move when she started toward him - or at least, move fast enough for her angered senses - she would leap and attempt to pin him beneath her. Should this move be precise and successful, she would start to eat him - clearly meaning to eat him, too.

This was a purposeful move. She wanted an apology, she wanted the male to stay quiet. She'd threatened to eat him, so why not make good on that threat? Except, she might let him out this time.

What happened right after his insult was a blur. Evander found himself dazed and on the ground, yet still alive... for the moment. He staggered to his feet just as he heard the angry hippogriff's warning, turning his head towards the sound of her voice. However, the gryphon was still seeing stars, and as he tried to move out of her path, he only wound up running into her front legs.

"Please... don't hurt me...." he quivered as he realized just what, or who, rather, he had walked into... And she was not happy.

She heard the plea, but that simply caused her to scoop him up by his head - and tilt her own head back; she was beginning to eat the smaller creature, quite content to just leave him there once she'd swallowed him.

She wanted that apology. He'd called her a number of things that she was not pleased with; such language like that used against a lady! Hmf.

Having his head inside of the hippogriff's mouth for a third time caused Evander to scream. As he felt her head tilt back, the smaller gryphon flailed as much as he possibly could as his head began sliding into the tight, fleshy tunnel in front of him, hoping that maybe she'd decide he was too much trouble to make a meal out of.

"You bitch! Let me go!" he yelled, his words muffled by the walls of the beast's throat.

His words only spurred her to continue. Her thoughts were telling her to kill him - but alas, she didn't want that - not yet. She wanted him to apologize, agree to be silent. That was what she sought from this whole ordeal.

She made a growling sound as she proceeded to continue onwards with the task of eating the smaller gryphon.

As Evander felt his belly begin sinking into the hippogriff's throat, he began to realise that his words only seemed to hasten his descent to the beast's stomach. He could feel his legs still sticking out of her mouth, flailing around uselessly as the walls of flesh convulsed around him, pushing and pulling him deeper. It was dark, but he knew just about where he was, as he could hear vividly the beast's heartbeat and breath as she swallowed again. He tried to scream, but his cry would only be heard by his predator, muffled from the outside world.

She ignored his screaming - simply taking another breath and swallowing again. She was sat in one place, focusing on eating the smaller creature - she had to admit, he would be a more satisfying meal than the deer she usually hunted.

As the hippogriff swallowed yet again, Evander felt his head begin to enter her stomach. As another swallow brought the rest of his upper body, Evamder found himself landing face first in a pool of slime. It smelled rancid, and as the rest of his body followed him in, he was force to curl up tightly in the fleshy prison around him, soaking his entire being with the acrimonious liquid. For the moment, he was still, the only sounds being those of the body around him. He knew he wouldn't be getting out of there for a while, of at all. He had insulted the hippogriff, and in return, she made good on her threat.

Melivere settled onto the ground once she had completely swallowed him, curling into a ball to nap. She was in no hurry to release her meal. She settled down and soon was fast asleep, talons curled beneath her head, her breathing was easy and she was quite satisfied, though she still wanted her apology.

Evander wasn't sure how long he had been inside the hippogriff. Might have been only a few minutes, it could have been hours. With only her heartbeat and breathing to measure time with, the gryphon quickly lost track of the duration of his stay within her stomach. Losing his sense oftime, however, didn't mean he had given up. While Melivere's weight bearing on top of him certainly made movement more difficult than it already was, the small gryphon managed to poke sharply the fleshy walls around him.

"Excuse me.... C-could you let me go n-now?" He asked...
