Melivere tensed at his words, and without anymore warning she began to shake the gryphon in her grasp - up and down, back and forth. This would go on for some time, before mid-shake she would release the gryphon - most likely sending him into a tree, or at least across the clearing.
Once she had released him, wherever the poor creature had ended up, she started toward him again - shouting out - "Away you three inch fool! Away with you before I don't stop." She was not happy with the male; it would make working with him harder, she knew that, but he needed to know she did not joke around - and insulting her was just the worst idea one could do.
If the gryphon did not move when she started toward him - or at least, move fast enough for her angered senses - she would leap and attempt to pin him beneath her. Should this move be precise and successful, she would start to eat him - clearly meaning to eat him, too.
This was a purposeful move. She wanted an apology, she wanted the male to stay quiet. She'd threatened to eat him, so why not make good on that threat? Except, she might let him out this time.
