"Gotcha," Zora said with a tiny nod, she had not actually brought any water with her, not even bottled to drink, and while she could draw from the air around them since it was a grey drizzling day, she preferred not to. At least not for the moment.

Instead, Zora decided to try an element of surprise by teleporting instantly behind Euphemia and pushing her forward with a telekinetic blast that would send her flying forward. Both magics were not too draining on her magically and the telekinesis could be used at will.

As soon as Zora disappeared from sight, Euphemia began to turn. She wasn't invisible, or she'd notice her soul, so her second guess was that she would attack from behind. Before she had a chance to face her however, the blast sent her flying back. Euphemia hit the ground and immediately went into a roll, springing back to her feet facing Zora.

She began to rush forward, keeping her physical abilities at their base level, but still rapidly closing the distance between them. As she got closer, she suddenly darted to the left, before springing forward the last few feet, fist extending towards her gut.

Zora watched as Euphemia came at her and suddenly remembered being admonished by Rory for thinking too much about what to do, and so when Euphemia's darted to the left, Zora moved a step to the right instinctively and turned a little, just enough to move her arm upward and push Euphemie's arm downwards the moment it made contact with Zora.

Taking advantage of that moment, Zora darted to the side and back away from Euphemia, more about defending herself and getting free than actually attacking, mainly because that was what she had had drilled into her by both Rory and Broen.

Euphemia's punch was deflected, but she stayed on the offensive, her long strides following after Zora, staying on her. One of her legs extended forward, foot aiming to hook behind Zora's and pull her off balance as she fled.

Euphemia did actually manage to trip Zora, and if it had been a few months ago, she'd have been too stunned to move. However, Zora's fight or flight instinct was kicking in and as soon as she hit the ground she scrambled up, and crazily enough decided to turn around and run at Euphemia and try to knock her off edge.

Euphemia briefly paused in her assault, giving Zora enough time to rush at her. Rather than strike again, Euphemia simply juked to the side, slipping past Zora's counter-attack and breaking off. She let her hands fall back to her side, stepping out of her stance for a moment, expression as neutral as it had been before they began.

"Your ability to defend is good," She stated, assessing Zora with a small nod. "You have clearly practice those moves well to be able to perform them quickly and without needing to think."

She seemed to pause for a moment, assessing in her mind before she closed her eyes, explaining.

"However, Ms Del Bosque, I have asked you to subdue me. Closing the distance between us with a teleport to surprise me was a good decision, but pushing me away from you removes the advantage you could have gained. If you manage to surprise an opponent, you should attack aggressively in order to keep that advantage without giving them a chance to recover."

She opened her eyes once she finished, no judgment in her voice or gaze as she simply stated what she was taught.

"Yes," Zora nodded as Euphemia broke down things for her, "I know my offensives skills leave a lot to be desired," she explained, not offended at all. She knew how crappy her abilities were, and that was why she was here. She was open and eager to learn.

"Before, like until about 6 months ago," she started to elaborate for Euphemia. "My magic was virtually zero. I couldn't use it safely, and consequently, I had to learn how to defend myself without it."

"Defense is all I really know how to do well, that and if you attacked me. Then, I might be able to disable you enough to get away, but openly attack," here she shook her head, "no, I don't know how to do that yet, or well."

"Hmm. I see." Her brow furrowed for a moment as she considered this. "I am afraid I cannot instruct you in magic. If you were willing to tell me all of your capabilities, I could perhaps help you devise effective strategies to utilise them. Though I must admit, tactics are...not my strongest point."

In the past, Euphemia was a weapon to be wielded. She could be pointed in a direction and strike as directed, but the real tactics were decided by others. She had enough skill to operate independently, but she didn't feel quite confident in doing so.

"However, I can instruct you in physical combat. Perhaps it would be best to start with that."

"That's quite alright," Zora told Euphemia quite understandingly, "I didn't actually expect that you could help me with everything. And the fact that you can help me as much as you can is more than expected."

"And yes, whenever you are ready," she nodded determinedly at Euphemia's comment about starting.

"Very well then. I believe it best we start with the basics."

With little other fanfare, she walked back over to Zora, hands crossed in front of her, standing neutral as she had before.

"I would like you to punch me in the face." She said simply.
