Ava was...on edge, to say the least. She was feeling guilty and kinda pissed about yesterday, when she had pissed off Alex. And even Ava knew enough to know that wasn't good. He was the fucking king, Ava should've known enough not to be pissy with him, even if it was about something as small as an unpleasant nickname. Though Ava hadn't been in one of the bestest moods either, but that was no excuse. So she could blame it all on that ass Broen. Calling her kiwi happened mostly out of friendly teasing, though it still grated her, but him calling her an orphan was a whole another thing.
That straight-up hurt.
And afterwards Ysolda had really laid it on her, calling her a...leech. Ava knew she deserved it, because that was what she essentially was. Without the Drakenhardts she would be alone, and though Ava hadn't liked her situation but she had grown accustomed and maybe even liked the ridiculously huge family. Though it would require a million crowbars to get that out of her yet.
And Ysolda had hit it right where it hurt, what she worried over, what she didn't like about this situation. Ava wasn't one to wallow in self-pity, or feel sad, but right now she just wanted to sink in the same lake as her mom had, so she wouldn't have to feel this way. Feel so...small, and pathetic.
Like a leech.
And to top it all off Ava's shoulders were burnt from yesterday when she had heated up and ended up having to shift and rage it out. It had helped a bit, and Shiro had been there afterwards, but in any case the burns stung.
Ava was walking home and scratching her head, wondering when she'd hear back from the shit with Alex. Hell, was she gonna get kicked out of the clan for that? Ava had been mentally prepared for serious consequences but in the end she didn't have that much idea on how any of this clan stuff worked. The basics had been explained to her but maybe the casual atmosphere between the members had gotten to her. Besides, Ava was so used to handling her own shit on her own. She hadn't had any idea denying help would end up pissing Alex off so much. Well, at least now she knew.
Ava would have to fight Ysolda one of these days.
Ava was walking slowly on purpose but eventually she ended up at Titus' house, her home for now. She dragged herself to the door and opened it, cringing a bit. She had a bad feeling about this.
Ava went inside and took a breath in and out. Though she was sure Titus had heard the door or smelled her Ava yelled out anyway.
"I'm back!"
@Max!!
