Damien continued walking, not noticing the other vampires. If he had, though, he probably would have either ran out of there as fast as he could, or he would have let Tristan take care of it. Upon seeing the younger male following him, he supposed he didn't really have any need to worry about him staying out there and getting hurt or anything.

"So, uh..." he paused for a moment, remembering the English words before he said them so he couldn't stumble when he was speaking. "What was your name again?" He knew he had asked before, but the boy hadn't answered, so he thought he might as well ask again.

Damien nodded upon hearing the younger male say his name. He obviously hadn't heard him before when he had told his name, but he didn't mind repeating it, really. "I'm Damien," he said. "It's nice to meet you, Ion. I... I take it you're new here? Seeing as how... how you got lost and all."

And STILL, I don't get introduced. Must I force myself out and do it myself?

The boy gulped. The both of them knew he couldn't just say, 'Oh, hi, and my other side says hi, too!' — it would just make them seem even more insane than most thought they were. So, he remained silent, not going to bother listening to his other side.

Damien nodded. "Yes... though I haven't met many people," he said. The only people he had met were Dani, a few people in the ballroom, and that girl in the library. He was usually quiet and shy, it couldn't be helped. "Um... so, uh, what are you're powers?"

Damien nodded when the boy said his powers, and thought for a few moments when asked what the school was like. "Nothing special, really," he said quietly. "Just... just an, uh... average school... except of course for the powers thing..." He looked down and kicked at a rock, embarrassed for always pausing when he was speaking like that. It was most likely obvious that English wasn't his first language by now. "How old are you?"

Such boring conversation topics, he knew, but he wasn't very good at coming up with things to talk about. Oh, well.

Damien nodded. The kid had looked to be about that age. He still hadn't noticed the other vampires, though he felt like something was wrong, or like something was watching them. It was odd, but he decided to ignore it as best as he could. The young man sighed, not really knowing what else to say. "I'm not too good with conversations... I apologize..." he said quietly.
