Conversational? Everyone around here seemed to try and talk to everyone, what was wrong with just minding one's own business? She sighed softly, wondering what she was going to have to do to make him leave her alone. She was silent for a few moments when he asked her about the fall ball, but finally decided to answer. "Nope," she said. "And to tell the truth, I really have to interest in going. Festivals and such are boring if you ask me." She rolled her eyes. "You going?"

"That's surprising," He said sarcastically, which was totally unlike him. She was already beginning to rub off on him. "I might be going. If I can find a date." He watched her for a moment. "Why does that kind of thing bore you?"

Adelina merely shook her head at his sarcasm. She could care less about what he said, really. She just shrugged her shoulders, and almost laughed when he asked why she thought things like that were boring. "Why does it bore me? Because it's stupid!" she answered simply. "Really. There's no point in going if you ask me. I find them boring just because I do. Plus, there's no really point in going if you don't go with someone else, and since I don't want to go with anyone — or even go at all... well, I'm sure you can figure it out." She shrugged her shoulders again, knowing that she hadn't explained it good, but oh well; she had never been good at explaining things.

"I see. Why don't you want to go with anyone?" Andrew almost laughed. He knew by now, Dani would be pelting him with fireballs. He usually tried to not be annoying, but this was a good exception.

The brown-haired girl's eyes narrowed a bit when he asked that. Her brown eyes held a look of annoyance at all his questions, especially the one he had just asked. That was none of his business, mostly because it had to do with her past. "I just don't," she said. "A real, detailed reason is not something I feel like sharing, so too bad if you expected one." She turned her eyes away for a moment, then looked back to him, the same look on her face. She didn't say anything more, though.

Andrew thought for a moment. "So you wouldn't go at all?" He ventured.
He was sure he already knew what her answer would be, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe she'd say she'd go.

She rolled her eyes. "I just said that, didn't I?" she asked, or more like said, in an annoyed tone of voice. &
