"So you're saying he doesn't wanna get rejected?" Michi can't say anything against that. She knows fully well how that feels like, but what was wrong if it wasn't the same? Wouldn't they still be friends otherwise? Michi wanted to say it out loud but she decided to keep that to herself. Or well, at least as much to herself if the voices wouldn't echo it. Fortunately the most it did was to echo 'reject reject reject' among the incoherent mumbling. Another soft grumble out of her before she spoke again. "And If it doesn't...? Would Rowan stop talking to me?"

"Well no, but--" But what? Was Michi over thinking? Was she worrying about something that couldn't possibly happen. Sure -- Rowan was kind and forgiving, but she couldn't shake off the anxiety that was building up, just thinking that there was a possibility they'll stop talking. Though at the very least, she had Lizzy to keep her distracted from the rumble of the voices around her. And, maybe it was a little messed up, she was kinda thankful they were having their conversation like this. Michi smiled wryly, "I mean, you don't have to get back at him for that. But," But? "I'm just... scared of Rowan leaving is all. I guess I'm... insecure.. aha..."

Michi bit at her lip, still managing to hear Lizzy through the noise. Anxiety was hard especially since it's been long ingrained in her head. Sure sister had stopped speaking to her to drive it all home, but it left a mark she couldn't really shake off. Still, she needed to get out of that space somehow. "Well, what exactly can go right, though? If you're completely right and this thing happens with me and Rowan... what else can go right?" Michi couldn't help but remember her parents and worry for herself.

Michi had a wry smile at Lizzy's suggestion. It wasn't because it was a bad idea, but the idea of it being indefinite didn't ease the girl's mind. But there was no way Michi was going to voice that out to Lizzy -- hell, not even to Rowan. There was a reason why she held people at a certain distance. Even so, she kept that part of her thoughts silenced. "Alright then," she began, her voice leveled to keep any of her reservations hidden. "I'll trust you on that."

Michi, if she were still going to be honest, was still pretty skeptical. It wasn't because she didn't trust Lizzy -- no, in fact she's pretty much ready to just leave this all in her hands now. Choosing to ignore her own thoughts was... admittedly a little uncomfortable but maybe if it'll bring peace to Lizzy and co, maybe she should just let it slide. She tried to laugh, though because she stuck in her own mind, it was rather muted and Lizzy would have barely heard it. Lizzy wouldn't be someone she'd trust her life with, but it's not like she was going to die... right? "Well, you know, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt ," she said in part jest. "Anyway, if you want, we can take a stroll outside? My room's locked anyway so your body should be fine unattended."
