Brünhild was pleased to notice that Geo was enjoying the game, as she was quite liking it as well. And the fact that Geo was picking all the characters that seemed to carry the characteristics of a princess was...impressive to Brün in its own way. Geo was brave enough to not care if Brünhild thought she was childish or ridiculous. Naturally Brün didn't think those things and in fact for this next race she chose the blonde princess with a pink gown as her own character. As a vehicle she picked a motorcycle, since she had only driven automobiles in the earlier races.

Brünhild was getting used to Geo's habit of sticking her tongue out, though it still made her smile slightly. But she also concentrated on the race, and this time she was able to get a similar boost at the start like Geo and got to the first place almost immediately. Brünhild noticed that Geo favoured a more bold way of racing, picking short cuts and making risky decisions. Brünhild was, maybe due to her strict military background, more traditional and stayed on the sure and straight route, that got her to her destination no matter what. She was able to remain on her first place, using the items given to her with great accuracy and cleverness. Brün was very concentrated on the race this time as well and, maybe due to Geo's actions, stuck her tongue slightly out as well. After all, feline DNA was embedded into Brün's genetic code as well.

When Geo made the mistakes that caused her victory Brünhild spared a glance at the woman, who had inched at the edge of her seat. Mainly Brünhild felt silent empathy, and felt bad for Geo. Naturally not showing it, that would most probably only anger Geo. But deep inside Brün also felt dark pleasure for her enemy falling, it was the predator in her. That same predator almost caused her to purr, when Geo let out sounds of irritation. Thankfully Brünhild kept her expression blank.
Brünhild finished the race in first place, and Geo was able to fight her way back to the front and finished barely third.

Geo didn't even say anything this time when she started a new race, didn't even bother asking if her companion wanted to keep playing. She just assumed they were going to keep playing for a while longer until one of them had something to do or grew sick of the game. The android had picked the princess from space again for this one and selected a track that resembled the beach in the previews. She edge forward and leaned in close, getting ready for the count down to begin.

As the race started she boosted forward to get ahead of the pack with the few others that always seemed to be out front. This time though she did not attempt to get any short cuts but tried to just follow the main track and see what happens. For most of the race she seemed to be an almost steady second. Brunhild was in first and every now and then the two swapped places, making it a rather exciting match compared to all the others.

Unconsciously whenever the android would pull ahead she quietly purred with satisfaction, whenever she dropped back or made a small error she growled softly. This happened the entire race but ask her later about and Geo would claim that she did nothing but play the game.

In the end the mercenary pulled through with a very close second, making it two matches for each of them.

“How about one more race?” she asked as she leaned back on the couch again. “Perhaps on the hardest track if you know which that is? It will be, as they say on Earth, winner take all?”

As she asked the final bit Geo tilted her head to the side, a habit she sometime had when making an inquiry or when she would be thinking about something.

Brünhild opened her mouth, about to ask if Geo wanted to race once more, but the woman had already started a new race. Brün just smiled slightly and chose her own character. This time she went with the brown-haired princess, and chose another motorcycle. Something about the dresses bothered Brün, as she was a fan of practical attire. Their whole-bodysuits on the motorcycles seemed much better in comparison to the dresses.

Brünhild mimicked Geo and inched slightly forward on her seat, although not as much as Geo, and from the start was concentrated enough that her tongue peeked out just a bit.
Brünhild and Geo had a neck-to-neck competition, this time Geo following on the assigned path as well, and somehow listening to the sounds Geo made whenever she was losing or winning made Brünhild more determined. Her upper lip wanted to draw back into a small snarl everytime Geo went past her, but Brünhild kept a serious face on. She won the race, barely, and had to almost peel her hands off the controller for a moment, Brünhild had been squeezing it so hard.

"Sounds good to me. Although there is nothing for either of us to take. But it has been a pleasure to race you."
Brünhild smiled slightly at Geo, also slightly tilting her head, and proceeded to choose the track that was at the bottom of the selection menu. Perhaps the hardest ones were put last. The name of the track was Rainbow road.
"I am not sure of the level of this track, but it seems challenging."
With that Brünhild chose the track for their last race.

Geo saw Brun smile at her and noted that it was rather pleasant to see someone who she had figured to be rather serious relax even a little, and wondered to herself if this was how others had reacted to her the first time she ever smiled at something so simple as enjoying a competition with a co worker. The android couldn't help but smile back, unaware that she was purring slightly at the compliment from the other woman.

Turning her attention back to the television she once again picked the first character she had chosen, the one with blonde hair and the pink dress, and settled into her racing position on the edge of her seat. The count down finished and the race began, and for this one the android had gone back to her previous method of aggressive racing. It would be risky that is for sure, but if played right the win would surely be hers.

As they went around the first lap Geo raced as it was intended to be, making note of how the track went and how to react to the jumps and speed boosts that were thrown out all over the place. She was also hoping for a few lucky item drops to help her along the way. On the second part of the race she started to get more aggressive, taking short cuts and jumps to pull from the pack and get into a race for first between Brun and herself.

By the final stretch of the race, even with the way Geo was driving, it was still pretty much anyone's game until she got the final item she would receive for the game. It was a mushroom, and Geo waited till they had the finish line in site before activating it and managing to pull out a head and secure the victory for herself, even if just barely so. Letting out a triumphant cry Geo actually dropped her controller and turned to her co worker and embraced the woman, purring as she did so caught up in the win. The hug lingered for a moment before Geo finally realised what she had just done and sat back up straight on the edge of her seat.

“That was very enjoyable,” she stated while proving that androids could indeed blush, “we will have to do something like this again. Maybe next time an actual physical activity? An earth sport of some sort perhaps?”

Brünhild indeed did not smile much, even though she personally thought herself to be emotional enough. People had said Brün's face muscles were dead and things similar to that, but she just wanted to show emotion when it truly counted. And she was glad she had decided to smile now when Geo smiled back at her, even purring slightly. Brünhild wasn't sure if the purring was intentional or not, but she thought it was quite cute nevertheless. And she had a feeling it meant a lot from Geo.

Brünhild chose as her last character the star princess Geo had used in the last race, and another motorcycle. Somewhere at the back of her mind Brünhild thought of maybe buying a motorcycle for herself. But then the countdown started and Brünhild leaned forward slightly. Unconsciously she tried to get a better view of the screen and inched slightly closer to Geo, so their legs were nearly touching.
As the countdown finished Brünhild blasted to the front of the pack and she smiled slightly, she had a good feeling about this race.

Geo was back to her aggressive racing and Brünhild spared a couple of seconds here and there to glance at her screen and admire. But they were nearly even, and Brünhild was in first place multiple times despite her safe driving style.
But near the end, right before the finish line, Geo got decided to use the mushroom that granted a speed boost. Brünhild knew she had lost and leaned back slightly, letting out a disappointed sigh. Geo instead let out a victorious cry and her genuine joy made Brünhild smile again. But Brünhild did not expect the woman to turn to her and embrace her. Brünhild tensed at first, her nody thinking it was under attack, but as she felt Geo purring something in her melted and though she didn't answer the hug she relaxed. Brünhild didn't say anything, and waited until Geo realized what she was doing and retreated. The blush on the woman's cheeks made Brünhild want to chuckle. Brünhild's cheeks weren't flushed, but her ears were quite red.
"That sounds like it will be fun. I'd be delighted to play some sport with you. You are a worthy opponent."

Geo stood up and then nodded to her co worker.

"I look forward to it." she said. "We can pick a date later, for now I must get back to work."

Geo gave a small smile and a nod in parting before turning around and heading towards the door. As she was walking though the implications of what might have just happened hit her. Had she just set up a date? With a co worker? The information got stuck in her processor and it caused her to stumble a little bit as she went out the door, something she hoped had not been noticed.

This would all need further investigation, but for now she had to find something to keep her processes occupied. Maybe she could clean and reorganise her desk again...
