"Huh," she leaned forward and placed her chin within the palm of her hands, resting her elbows on her crossed knees as she processed what William had said, "Sounds to me like things got blown out of proportion."

A sigh escaped her lips as she watched William writhing in his own self pity. There wasn't much else she could say to him in regards to the already spreading rumor about him, but she was curious as to why they'd immediately jump to sex on the roof? Why not just skipping class because he can? It seemed a little overzealous of the rumor monger to go so far as to bring intimacies into things. Maybe it was personal...or maybe they were just being immature.

"Or maybe they really hate you," she mused allowed, letting her eyes wander to the curled up vision of Spirit laying beside his master, "Or they misunderstood- hey, don't beat yourself up about this."

She sat up from her relaxed position and stared pointedly at William, "So what if you have anger management problems, so what? At least you're talking about it. I know men, much, much, older than you who won't even admit to having a problem like that. Admitting there's a problem is the first step, you know? And- and right now? It might seem like you have a boat load of problems, yeah, ok. So someone spread a nasty rumor about you, so your having some control issues...but at least you're aware of them."

She nodded to herself slowly, as if something had just occurred to her, "And now, we can take care of it. What sort of sports are getting into?"

'Everything.', he said, his eyes suddenly lighting up from inside. He loved talking about sports, especially those he knew personaly from training them. And that was quite a lot.

'I used to take everything that peacked my interest.', he said, waving his hand through the air. 'Swimming, football, basketball, you name it.', he said, smiling. 'Martial arts too. Everything you name I have probably trained for at least some time. I used to take them long enough to establish a basic skill before moving on to something else completely different in order to try as many things as posibly. And taking two completely different things one after another always used to be real challange. I used to love that.', he said, sighing a bit sadly over a distant memory. 'Then something happened and I stopped, but I tought I could continue here, but there was no sports club... So I started one. I'm just waiting for people to sing up and the season to start and all.' The rumor was suddenly long forgotten as he continued talking on and on about one sport or another, even though there was a lot more things he wanted to say, about himself, and about others. However, sports presented themselves as far more important, and not to mention apropriate, issue to discus in public places.

'.. and so I got to train that for six months...'

Trini smiled to herself as William talked on and on about the sports he was into and what he had experienced before. She took note of his mention of a sports club that he instated and wondered why they wouldn't have one already at the school before he came there. Was it because the students were too dangerous when it came to sports? Or because they would use their powers to cheat? It made her laugh a little as she imagined people using their powers to get a head in the sports career, but she knew it probably wasn't something to laugh about. There were probably plenty of individuals like her or even like William that used their supernatural advantage over humans to rise into power. Nodding along with William's words, she made a conscious decision to join him in his endeavor. When ever she had the time she would go see where she could sign up for his sports club and get in on that action. Of course, she wouldn't tell him right away...she wanted him to be surprised.

"Wow, I've never heard you talk so much," she rested her head in her hands again and chuckled softly at him, "I didn't know you had that many words in you."

She was all smiles as she watched him, her mood lightening a little more than it had been before when they had argued about that rumor and how to handle it. It had only been partially her plan to distract him from it with mention of sports, but she hadn't known it would work this well. Pats for Trini, indeed.

'Yeah, well', he said, a tad awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. 'It's different when there is something to talk about.', he says, almost looking away. 'And where is someone to listne, too. I mean, most people would've stopped me ages ago.', he laughes quietly under his breath, shaking his head, loose strands of hair flying everywhere and covering his eyes. He looks up through them, fire still in his eyes, thankfully not the one that comes from anger.

'It's amazing you didn't get bored. I mean, even my...', he stops, frowning, before scoffing and continuing. 'I have yet to meet a person beside you who can listen through all that.'

"What? Me? Bored? Hah, no, no, no, amigo, my friend," she leaned back and gestured her arms in his direction, "When someone is speaking about things that they're most passionate...I do not get bored. Trust me. The look on your face while you spoke was enough to keep me interested."

She let out a small sigh, "I wish I could be that passionate about something. I don't even, really, have any hobbies."

Trini leaned forward again and rested her chin in her hands before glancing up at him, smiling slightly at the way his hair fell loosely in front of his eyes, "I figured I might pick some up after coming to this school, but it's been a few weeks and still...nothing. You're lucky."

'Well, it's still not to late.', he said, this time really loking away. 'Perhaps you could come by the club? I'll find you something to do.', he added, smiling, getting all fired up again. 'You would be good at badminton, perhaps. Or tennis. Or would you like to learn how to fight?', he turned around, eyeing her up from head to do. 'Hm...', he said, losing himself in his own world of which-sport-could-Trinni-play. 'And off he goes.', Spirit commented, looking at his eyes. 'Do you mind opening that for me?', he nuzeled at the second can of soda.

"Not too late, hmm?" she mused over the offer and smiled to herself, being given an invitation for something that she planned to do anyways just tickled her, "Alright."

She looked up at him and caught him looking her over rather intently. It made her blush suddenly and she had the urge to shove him to knock some sort of sense into whatever he was thinking, "I'll join your club. Sure, I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm confident that I can handle anything you can prepare for me."

She leaned forward and snatched up the soda that Spirit was nuzzling towards William.

"Here," she popped the top and tipped it towards Spirit, "Ready?"

She smiled expectantly and waited to pour the liquid into his mouth in a waterfall sort of move that she had seen someone do to their dog while she was half watching a show the other night.

'For soda? Always.', Spirit replied, opening his mouth.

'For soda and just about anything else he can eat, drink, or simply swalow.', William said, coming back to his senses at the sight, before looking at Trinni again. 'Yeah, you could, if I take into account that you are a gril who hadn't trained anything so far. Some of the things I do are no joke, you can get hurt if you make even the smallest mistake.', he said, frowning, completely forgetting that he was yet to find out what Trinni can do, and why Spirit kept calling her kitty-cat.

Trini grinned as Spirit's mouth opened wide and his tongue lolled out to accept the sweet liquid she had promised to him. Tilting the can forward more, she watched as the soda flowed from the opening and water falled down into his mouth. It was funny to say the least, comical in a way that Trini had only experienced second hand while watching programs on television. She had all but ignored what William had been saying to her, too fixated on what she was doing. It was his mention of her possibly getting hurt that snapped her out of her fixation.

"H-hey, slow down, I'm not made of glass you know," she frowned, "Don't underestimate me."

She hated it when people made assumptions of her abilities, especially when she knew she could take down a bear if she really wanted to. Of course, she had all but forgotten that William had no idea that she could shape-shift into a jaguar, for all he knew she was just a simple human girl acting tough. She wondered whether or not she should tell him, but figured he'd find out sooner or later if they were going to be in the same club together.

"Besides...I doubt that you can come up with something that could get me seriously injured," she added this a little more smugly than she had first intended, sitting back on her legs and setting the empty can beside her on the blanket.

'Oh?', he said, raising an eyebrow before giving her a smug smile. 'It's one.', he extended his hand, offering it to her in a handshake. 'I bet that by the first time you come by the club I'll have come up with something wickedly insane that you couldn't possibly do. Agree?'

Spirit, who knew perfectly well what Trini could do, did nothing, as he observed amused, knowing that William's probably in for a big embarrassment, and even bigger surprise.
