It was such a lovely day outside that upon finishing her first set of classes for the day, she decided that it would be a refreshing change of pace to take her lunch outside where she would be able to properly enjoy the day. Upon gathering a blanket as well as a bag full of a variety of things, including sandwiches, a drink or two and something sweet for after she had finished her lunch, she left the cover of the academy and entered the courtyard. Stepping out into the crisp autumn air, she inhaled deeply and let it out on a content sigh; she loved fall weather like this. Not too hot but not too cold, perfect lighting and a beautiful scenery of discolored leaves, it was enough to make her flop down in the nearest sunspot and doze for hours. Instead, she found a nice little spot under the nearest tree, laid her blanket over the grasses and leaves, and deposited herself right smack in the middle of it, her back resting against the tree as she closed her eyes and leaned into it.

She didn't know how long she had been sitting there like that, but after a while she realized she had begun to doze off and had to force herself to sit up and begin unloading her lunch onto the blanket. Luckily, she didn't have to worry about classes until sometime in the evening, but she didn't want her sandwiches to get too warm before she got the chance to enjoy at least one. She had made them herself and although she wasn't the best of cooks, she liked the way they tasted and figured that was all that really mattered. Trini pulled a sandwich from her sack, unwrapped it from it's plastic containment and was halfway into taking a bite out of it when she thought she saw someone familiar out of the corner of her eye.
