She hoped she would be alright getting dressed. She had never worn something like this before, but hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult. "You may be handsome, but you're also very cute. I bet you'd look even cuter in a little toga!" Blinking at his next comment about underclothes, Ania wondered if his underwear often escaped him. Perhaps he often lost it, and that's why he wasn't entirely sure. That was definitely something to puzzle over.

After fussing with the cloth for a moment, Ania decided that she probably wouldn't figure this out in a timely manner. "Um!" She wasn't quite sure how to phrase this, and her face slowly turned red in response. trying again, she repeated her 'um' and carried on. "W-would you mind maybe telling me how it goes on? I've never really ... Worn one before and I ah, might need help." It was a little embarrassing to ask for help with getting dressed, but it wasn't like she minded terribly.

<div align=center>Hadrian gave the girl an affectionate pat on the back, he supposed he couldn't look that bad, he'd worn stranger clothing in his life. "Well," he lifted an eyebrow, "I guess we'll just have to find out." It was actually relatively surprising that his underwear didn't escape him, despite himself, he wasn't very good at tidying up. His appearance might have been immaculate, but his bedroom certainly wasn't, at least he remembered to wash everything, he would most likely have preferred a dorm room to a whole house, he had a lot of space in a house, but there was so much to clean up.

In truth, Hadrian didn't really know how it went on either, an awkward little frown crossed his features as he explained this fact to her. The garment seemed to have a lot of different folds and layers, but he supposed if they could find the arm holes at least it'd be alright. "Trial and error?" He suggested, with a laugh. "Don't look so embarrassed, I don't really know how to put mine on, either." He shrugged, hoping that there perhaps might be a mirror in there, at least with a mirror he would be able to adjust everything to his liking. He could help her if she didn't mind.</div>

Ania didn't expect to be so embarrassed about not knowing how to put on a little clothing. It just looked so difficult. "Okay! I'll be out in a second. Wait for me! Hopefully it doesn't go too terribly wrong..." Hurrying back into the room, Ania stripped quickly and stuffed her body through what she hoped were the appropriate holes. Looking down at herself, she frowned. It didn't look right, bunching in some places and falling awkwardly in others. Tugging at the fabric that clung to her neck, she wondered how people could wear such constricting clothes.

Emerging from the little dressing room, Ania looked a bit confused, wondering if this was the proper way to wear the thing. "Um. Is this right...?" She felt like something was missing, but maybe this was just the way they wore their clothes.

<div align=center>Hadrian tilted his head to the side when she emerged again, something was off, but he couldn't quite tell what. His brow furrowed, before his head snapped upright and he snapped his fingers. "Ah!" A wide smile appeared upon his face, and he began to laugh. "You've put it on back to front." He explained, laughing just that little bit harder. He couldn't blame her, she'd never seen one in her life, if he'd been in her position, he would have probably made the same mistake, it was difficult to tell which part was the front. He reached out a hand and ruffled her hair fondly. "I think you've fastened it up strangely, too..."

She looked so uncomfortable in it that he felt sorry for her, the drew a breath and shook his head, "it's an easy fix." Hadrian shuffled close to her, his hands drifted to where she had fastened the garment. It was a lace instead of a clasp, his fingers fumbled with it for a moment, and it took him a few seconds to untie it. All she needed to do was take her arms out of the sleeves and turn it around, he could tie it up for her if she needed him to.</div>

Pouting a bit when Hadrian told her that she had put it on backwards, Ania glanced down once more. Well, she supposed it did feel a bit funny. Her pout only intensified when she heard that she had even laced it wrong. At this point, nudity would have been much easier. "Are you sure clothes are required? There's not many ways you can mess that up."

Ania carefully spun the cloth the right way, and placed her arms through the arm holes. Looking back up expectantly, Ania grabbed Hadrian's hands and placed them back on the laces with a hopeful expression. "You're probably better at dressing in these things than I am. Do you need help with yours, too ...? "

<div align=center>"You're right, it'd be easier if they weren't." He agreed, giving an idle shrug to accompany it. "Don't worry, they're kinda complicated to put on." He reassured, trying to remember the last time he wore something like this, never, he thought was the answer. Togas weren't the only option for boys, but apparently today that was what he could afford, besides, it was nice to have a change. "But I think we'd cause a bit of a scene if we stepped out of this door stark naked." The last thing he wanted was for them to be seen as slaves, or well... Worse.

He took each lace in each hand, and tied them in a neat little bow, hoping that they'd stay tied. He thought about the offer for a moment, he wasn't entirely sure. There was a lot of wrapping involved and that's all he knew. "I've never worn a toga before," he mused, "maybe I should just wear it as a cape, I could be a super hero." He joked, tittering very softly at himself. He stepped back from her, after adjusting a little bit of cloth on her shoulder, "ah, see." His eyes flickered up to meet hers, "perfect. You look pretty."</div>

"What happens to naked people? Do they not like naked people?" Well, even people in her own time didn't like strange naked people very much, despite the fact that everyone was naked under their clothing.
Ania had never seen anyone actually wearing a toga, Halloween costumes were probably very inaccurate, and didn't look as complicated as the original togas. "You would be a good super hero. I bet you would be a good gladiator, too. I would cheer you on."

Looking down suddenly, Ania swished the fabric around a little. It felt better than how she originally had it. She didn't know if she looked pretty, but it was definitely nice. "Thank you! You should put yours on so we can go see things!" She wanted to go see the people and brooms and everything before it got dark!

<div align=center>"I'm just worried uh, something will happen to you if... You do that..." Hadrian answered carefully, he shook the thought off though, deciding that he really should hurry up if they wanted to have enough time to look around. "Thank you," he returned, "though I don't think I'm brave enough to be a gladiator." Hadrian had the stomach for it, but he was just a little bit frightened of dying, as he probably should have been. "Besides I don't think you'd want your loving husband to die in the arena, would you?" He asked in a jovial sort of way. Though thinking about it, he didn't think gladiators even got married, weren't they slaves?

He nodded, he supposed it would be a good idea to hurry up. "I'll be right back." He promised, Hadrian wasn't really all that shy, it was merely modesty that kept him from leaving the door to the little room open. It took him a little while to work everything out, and he found he couldn't fasten it himself. The pin was silver and decorated with laurel leaves. "Would you mind... Uh.. Pinning this?" He asked, pushing the door a ways open and frowning. The linen was a very light blue color, it went well with Ania's. "I don't have enough hands to do it myself."</div>

Ania wasn't entirely sure what could possibly happen, but if he was worried, then perhaps it was something very bad. "Oh! But you look so brave and strong, but you're right. I need my loving husband for other things. Unless you misbehave, then I might be tempted."A brief thought entered her head, if she continually introduced him as her husband and got too far into the story, would she end up introducing him as a husband back home? That would be an interesting slip.

After waiting for him to change, Ania was startled when he asked her to help him pin it together. Taking the pin, Ania admired it's decoration and pinned the fabric up carefully. Stepping back, she tilted her head thoughtfully. "Yes. I must stick with my earlier statement: you are just the cutest thing in a toga. You should wear one more often, you know. I bet you could find a whole harem of loving wives with that toga." Following the path they had taken, Ania wandered back out into the dusty streets of Rome. Squinting, she looked around, wondering where they held those fights. She hadn't seen any soldiers around, nor any signs pointing her in the right direction. Pulling a normal looking passerby to the side, Ania stuck her hand on top of her head, mimicking the broom-hat. She wasn't quite sure if they knew either of her languages, so she tried both. "Battle? Bataille?" The pedestrian, confused and alarmed, hurried away from her mimicry and confusing languages.

<div align=center>Hadrian was rather enjoying these compliments, whether they were real or not. They were feeding his ego, not that it needed that, Hadrian's ego was more or less completely overfed. Other things, the boy laughed, though she most likely hadn't meant it in the context he was thinking of. "Pfft, misbehave?" He placed a hand on his hip, "I'm a good boy." He promised, pouting a little. It took him a moment to get a feel for what he was wearing, it was comfy though, which he supposed was a plus. He thanked Ania for pinning it up for him, he'd already buckled up the sandles he'd been given.

"A whole harem?" He asked, shrugging, "I think I'd rather just have one." Hadie lifted an eyebrow, "besides, I think it would confuse a lot of people back at home if I wandered around like this." It wouldn't get him bullied, but it may have invoked some reactions he would have rather avoided. He unthinkingly grabbed her hand again when she turned to leave, "come on, I imagine if we follow the crowds we'll get there." He imagined there would be more people outside a Colosseum, when there was a battle on sellers took every opportunity they could to well, sell things.</div>
