Nicolas was starting to get a suspicion. The suspicion wasn't really that far from the truth, and he settled his gaze on Ulrich, considering for only a moment how to word it."And I'm betting you have a bunch of children running around." Why else would he seem so curious? Why else bring the topic up at all? And the way he talked about kids being irritating - he'd definitely been exposed to kids recently, whether they were his own or someone elses. Considering how 'free love' the entire species seemed to be, he couldn't rule out the possibility of there being a few hundred mini-Ulrichs running around.
That was an alarming thought.
