What in the world did he get me?!

Adelina was more than happy to be at the school again. She looked at Andrew and nodded. "Yeah," she said. She unbuckled her seatbelt and exited the truck, straightening out her clothes. She took a few steps away from the car and looked at Andrew, waiting for him before she started walking back to the school.

Adelina shrugged her shoulders and sighed. "I have absolutely no idea," she said. She walked into the school building, then looked back at Andrew. "Let's check the lounge." With that, she started walking to that part of the building, hoping their siblings would be there.

As soon as Adelina walked into the lounge, October was up and running. The little girl nearly tackled her, but Adelina was able to stay standing. As soon as she let go, the girl's hands were on her hips.

"And where were YOU TWO today, hm?" she asked. "It's Christmas and I was alone for most of the day!"

An apologetic look came to the older sibling's eyes. "Sorry," she said. She quickly took out one of the playbills and handed it to her sister. "Does this make up for it?"

October's violet eyes widened as she looked at the signature. It... it was the kid who played Gavroche... she wrapped her arms around Adelina again, almost making her fall over for the second time. "YES!! OH MY GOSH YES!!! THANK YOU!!!!"

Adelina looked at Andrew and winked, then looked to Dani. "Hey, Dani," she said.

October looked at Andrew, then quickly went over and hugged him. She didn't want him to feel left out, after all, since she had only hugged her sister."Yep, I missed you!!" she told him.

Adelina smiled and nodded her head at Dani's question. "Yep," she said. She decided not to go into detail about what had happened in the car on the way home, or go into detail about Jacob. "So what did you guys do all day?"

Adelina laughed at what Dani said. She didn't doubt that she had generally annoyed people, to be quite honest. She didn't say that out loud, though. Upon hearing that there was going to be a dance, the seventeen-year-old blinked, and looked between Andrew, October, and Dani multiple times. "What dance?" she asked.
