Shay was quick to chase after him. She wasn't doing it out of childish fun. Instead, she wanted her drawings back; it was a matter of principle. "Stop! Come back!" She ran down the stairs but had to pause as she saw him slide down the railing so...strangely. This boy was.. what was he? He surely had to be older than her.

Once he hit the bottom, he jumped and stumbled as he landed, just barely stopping himself from falling over. Once he collected himself he turned and called up the stairs. "You'll never catch me if you don't hurry up!" Followed by childish laughter.

Shay groaned, stomped her foot, and ran down the steps as quickly as she could without falling. He was a fast runner, and that was saying something as Shay ran often and was very quick about it. Soon, she was in the zone, and it was almost fun if she weren't so annoyed by him. Stupid boy.

"You're not like any boy I've ever met!" she called out to him as they ran. She had met a few children her age and thought them all...well immature. He was immature, but at least, he seemed intelligent enough.

Kenta smirked when he heard this. "Well ofcorse! You just met me!" When she became visible on the stairs, he would wave the paper around for just a second before heading out the door and into the courtyard of the school.

When Shay ran out to the courtyard, she stopped to look around and see if she could find the kitsune. He could have gone anywhere, but she had a hunch that he would remain in sight to taunt her. "Where..." she asked herself under her breath.

And she was correct. Out ahead along the path, the fox boy stood on a bench, swaying his tails at her in a gesture that she'd have to assume was meant to taunt her.

Shay figured he'd run as soon as she came close, so she didn't. She put her hands on her hips and stared at him, raising her voice to be heard. "No more games, get over here!"

"Eh?" He sighed. "You dont like games?!" He asked, sounding disappointed. Kenta groaned and sat on the bench, waving her over to come join him.

Shay was hesitant, cautious, as she stepped over to him. Would he run if she did? "How was that a fun game?" she asked him, nose twitching in irritation as she managed her way over. Before long she was in front of him, trying to make sure he wouldn't run.

"How old are you, even?"

"There was running, jumping, a way to win... How is that not fun?" He asked. When she asked him about his age, he seemed to have to think about it. After a while he shrugged.
"People say I look around eleven so.... that I guess."
