"I-I mean," he spluttered, "obviously, I mean, obviously yeah. But uhhhh completely unrelatedly, nice uh puns."

He should probably gotten off the floor at this point. Attempting to do just that and to prove that he wasn't totally helpless, he slid his way up the wall and stood up, trying to ignore the little sting of pain that shot through his toe. That was gonna leave a mark, but oh well.

"Uh, watch out. I'm gonna re-plug the thing in."

Luna chuckled a little at Nix's obvious embarrassment. It was adorable-

She almost winced at Solaris' suggested. She'd been teasing Luna about that for a while lately and while it...may be partially true, she was getting frustrated. So frustrated, that she almost didn't notice that Nix had gotten up...by sliding his back up the wall.

"Uhh...I can plug it in Nix it's fine? You okay there..?"

Why would he slide up the wall to stand up on his feet? Was he actually injured somewhere and he was trying not to lean on it? Perhaps it was somewhere on his feet. He can't have broken much else after that fall.

He reached down and plucked the cord off the floor, plugging it in and rising once again to stand beside the still-seated Luna. Now that weight was on both feet, it really wasn't that bad - though he wouldn't admit it, he was basically being a giant wuss. Which, funny thing - right on time, Inner Him was there with a witty remark that honestly he wished he could use in real life.

Wowww, what a tough guy. I bet girls - one in particular - really go for the "wuss" type.

Oh, what? About how you're actually kind of falling for that one? Or about the fact that you're a wuss?

"ANYWAY." - the word was flung through the air before he realized he said it aloud, accompanied by a shake of his head. Covering for his blurt, he quickly followed up with, "I think the TV's back on."

Luna blinked at Nix's somewhat loud outburst, not fazed at this point. She was still worried but really, she couldn't stop him from doing what he do. He's Nix. How could she stop him. Hold him still? Hell no. That wouldn't even work knowing him.

The TV had slowly turned itself back on, and she was glad it did. It was too dim in the room to really move about safely, hence why she had to stay seated on the floor. Hence why anyone would just crawl (except for Nix apparently) to get something plugged in rather than risking a clumsy ass trip which he fuckin' did with the TV's light on. Maybe she should open the curtains. Maybe. Would he walk into the walls like a blind bat or...

You know, how about I stop thinking about this, even though it is hilarious.

Finally, it was getting boring as hell.

And how would you know how boring hell was, considering you haven't been to a realm that was created around Christianity, which you are NOT a part of?

"It is. Want to ATTEMPT to go to the bathroom again first before we find something to watch or do you want to risk it? Pff. Maybe I could make popcorn while you're in there," she said whilst grinning like an idiot. She stood back up and stretched her legs a little.

You're still thinking about calling him a clumsy fuck aren't you.

And, like the klutz he was, he inched along the wall to the bathroom door, almost tripping over himself as he went. Now that he thought about it, he didn't need the wall... ahaha. Pushing off, he entered the bathroom and... click went the door as it closed.

Well- we are but not to the extent that we up and grab the first dude that seems strong and would give children that actually survive. We're waaaay past that point. When did you Fall Asleep again? She rubbed her head in slight frustration before walking back into the kitchen to grab a packet of buttered popcorn. She put it in the microwave and set the timer to two minutes.

Nix, after having done the business, stared at himself in the mirror, his quiet, self-directed monologue flowing. He was, in essence talking to himself (not that he'd never done that before, obviously).

"I mean, that always seems to happen to me. What if I can't... y'know, protect her?"

And why are you thinking this fresh off the can? Can't you not take a philosophical pee?

Silence. Nix shook his head.

"Ugh, you're right. Why am I thinking this now? She's probably out there wondering why the hell I'm taking so damn long. She can probably hear me... Just..."

Nix breathed in, turning on the tap. If this was gonna happen in the bathroom - he could already see his face redden - at least he had access to water. As the tap ran idly, he shoved his hands into the cool stream and cupped them, bringing the water up to splash in his face. Rubbing at it, he peeked through his fingers at himself. Yup. Disheveled red hair, still weird and now wet, those same forest-green eyes... He adjusted his hair, and again sighed. At least he felt a little better.

Nix was taking a long time. Luna had been standing in the kitchen for maybe...ten minutes? It felt like it anyway. She didn't really have a clock mounted anywhere viewable from where she had been standing. She'd already gotten the popcorn into a bowl...

I shouldn't to this...he could be just doing a number two or something I don't know...

Yeah, you shouldn't. He's fine.

...You're always an ass and suggest the WRONG things to do unless it has to do with combat so I'm going to ignore that and do the complete opposite.

Luna sighed and rubbed her face with her hand in frustration before standing fully straight from her leaning position. She went down the hallway towards the bathroom. She thought she heard him talking to himself as she got closer. The faucet was turned off as soon as she got to the door, so she hesitated. Maybe she was just washing his hands...

"No. He seemed off as he walked off, I'm checking on him," she very quietly mumbled to herself before knocking gently.

"Nix? You alright..?" she didn't want to sound impatient by saying that he was taking a long time because she wasn't trying to rush him at all.

Oh shit. Hurriedly, he pawed at the faucet, trying to get the water to turn off, then looked around for a towel to dry his obviously damp face, hands, and hair-tips. Finding one on the back of the door, he carefully snatched it off the rack before scrubbing at his hands and face, trying to put it back so she wouldn't know he'd snatched it off.

"Yeah, I'm all good!" he called through the door. She probably thinks I'm just washing my hands, probably, he thought to himself. "Just washing my hands."

A few seconds passed, then the door handle turned and out stepped a thoroughly smiling Nix, his hair slightly rearranged in what he hoped would be something attractive. Though what the fuck did he know about hair. At least he wasn't red anymore.

"Sorry I took so long. The popcorn smells awesome, by the way."

When Nix opened the door, Luna instantly turned her gaze to Nix's hair. It was all over the place. Not excessively, it looks like he had tried to make it look better again, but it was messy.

Yeah I'm all good my ass...The look on his face looks strained.

Did he stub his toe or something? Jeez.

Can you not. Really. Can you not do this now.

"Nix...then why is your hair kind of messy..? It even looks..." she reached up to touch his hair lightly with the back of her hand, "...no, it feels moist. If you were just washing your hands then how..."

It still bothered her that his face seemed off. He was smiling but...

"Nix, your smile and general bubbly-ness is cute, but not when it's...how do I put it...fake. I-it's not fake in general that's not what I meant it's just...right now it seems odd...You were in there for a loooong time, and I highly doubt it was a bad shit. I know what it looks and feels like to hide something, and you've been hiding something."
