Faye could vaguely remember falling asleep, but all she could feel while she dreamed that night was that her body was burning. She didn't have any specific images that filled her mind, but all she really knew was she was extremely warm, and it wasn't the least bit comfortable.
She woke with a gasp, and her mouth was dry she was in desperate need of water. It took her a moment to remember that Orion had been with her the night before, that was the reason she was so warm. Orion's arm was over her body. She smiled sweetly at him, even though he was still out for the count, and kissed him lightly on the forehead. Being careful not to wake him she gently moved his arm and got out of bed.
She went to her mini fridge, grabbing two bottles of water, and grabbed a bottle of aspirin and laid it on the table beside her bed. It was only a little after nine and she didn't have the heart to wake Orion yet, he looked so peaceful lying there. So instead, she decided to get her sketchbook.
Her mind raced back to the night before when he mumbled the three words that made her heart flutter, but she didn't want to dwell on the thought. Maybe she was just being too hard on herself? Perhaps he really did mean them, but she kind of doubted he would have remembered anyway. After all, he had been really drunk.
She decided to shift away from that topic and began to wonder what they could do today, or perhaps maybe they wouldn't do anything. The thought of just having Orion in her room all day actually sounded nice, but what would they do? She'd just have to wait until Orion got up.
She decided to sit back on the bed and faced Orion, she was going to draw him until he woke up. She realized she was still in just her t-shirt and panties, but she shrugged it off, after all he's seen her in less. She's never drawn someone while they were asleep before, but now was the perfect opportunity. She settled into her mindless drawing and waited for Orion to wake up.
