Sorcha was surprised that he wanted to continue talking to her. Usually by now her mouth and attitude would have made whomever she was talking to leave the room. She tended to have that effect on people. She was pretty sure that it was because she didn't show her emotions that well. But then again, she usually did not like to be involved in small talk, either way she looked at Naka with a questioning look. Why wasn't he put off by her demeanor?

She shook her head at his statement that he purposely failed home economics class just so that he could avoid the school lunch. She agreed that they were bad, but to purposely fail a class? She came shook her thoughts away when he asked her if she could help him speak English better. That would mean more time spent with him, was that what she really wanted to do? He seemed like he was easy going and friendly, plus he was awfully good looking. She smiled to herself but looked at him and nodded, "Sure, if that is what you want, but I'm not the most talkative person and I'm not exactly getting stellar grades in English, so if its proper English you want, you might ask someone else" She held her breath as she said this, he didn't know it, but she just talked more to one person than she had to anyone else in a long time, she really hoped that he was sincere when he asked her.

"Those that don't talk as much think more than others. You'll be a fine teacher." He said. The fact that she had agreed to teach him was a testament in and of itself. Though she lacked confidence she had the notion that she may have some talent or capability and was willing to try to assess that. Given that information he figured she would be a capable teacher and he looked forward to taking lessons from her. Additionally, this would be a great chance to learn more about her and perhaps try to enter into a willing relationship, or at the very least, create a new friendship.

Sorcha was shocked when Naka agreed to let her teach him. All of a sudden there were butterflies in her stomach, at least that is what she thought they were, maybe it was the rice balls, but she didn't think so. Did she really just agree to spend lots and lots of time with someone? and why him? She just met him for Goddess sake!
"We will have to figure out where and when is the best time for both of us, I have a study hall every afternoon, and I usually skip lunch. Also, there is always after school, or anytime actually, just say the word" Sorcha mentally slapped her forehead, wow, when did she just become a chatterbox?
Sorcha stood up and walked over to the other side of the table, she went to her knees next to Naka , " Thank you for lunch, let me know what you figure out." And with that , acting purely on instinct she leaned over and quickly kissed Naka on the lips. Realizing what she had done she immediately stood up and sprinted out of the room. As she ran, all she wanted to do was disappear and at that moment she wanted more than anything to be anywhere but at Starlight Academy.
